IPhoto prints blank on HP PhotoSmart A310

Interesting: I installed the printer driver for my HP PhotoSmart A310 on my crisp new MacBook Pro and I couldn't get iPhoto to print. I just got blank pages, also in the preview. Then, I installed a network printer, a HP DeskJet. After restarting iPhoto, I still saw a blank page, but after switching to the DeskJet printer an image appeared in the preview. Then, when I switched back to the PhotoSmart printer, the image stayed there. So, the problem seems to be fixed. But still, it is a bug that iPhoto started off whith blank prints...

probably just bad driver software from Canon. Too bad...

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue on your HP Photosmart A310 Compact Photo Printer and installing on Windows 8.1. Here is a link to the HP Printer Install Wizard that was designed for Windows.
Just download and run it will install the drivers for you.

IPhoto '08 prints blank photos

Since updating to iPhoto '08 on a very new MacBook, when trying to print photos with a Canon Selphy DS810 it only prints blank white pages. In the print dialog it only shows blank photos:

I can print from Preview but it is hard to get the picture to scale properly.
Anyone know what is causing this?

Daniel, I suspect that you have lost the connection between your thumbnails and the larger .jpg version that can be sent to the printer. try this: what happens when you double click on the thumbnail as if to edit te picture? If you have a blank square, this is your answer. You'll have to rebuild your iPhoto library. If there is a picture after double clicking,then you've got another issue.

Sorry to ask an obvious question - but are you putting the paper in the right way? I have a 7520, and as long as there is ink in it, and the paper is facing the correct way, and I hear the print job go to the printer, it prints fine.

Photosmart C7280 prints blank pages

My C7280 started printing blank pages between pages. I use this printer as wireless. Sometimes it won't print until I go to add printer again. After this last episode it started printing blank pages. I downloaded the file listed in post below for 7260 but it didn't resolve the issue. I went on their troubleshooting page and did as it suggests with the separator page. That didn't fix it either. Any other suggestions? Thanks ahead of time for any help.

IPhoto printing 4x6 to HP 3210?

Hi all,
This sounds similar to other items I have found on these forums, but I still have not been able to solve, even after reading some old threads and trying steps from a post by Old Toad. I am trying to print from iPhoto 6.0.2 to an HP Photosmart 3210. So far I have tried:
1. Cropping the photo in iPhoto to 4x6
2. Going to Page Setup in iPhoto and choosing Borderless 4x6 for the Page Size
3. Going to Print in iPhoto and setting the Style to Standard Prints, Size to 4x6, and checking the Borderless box.
4. Even going to the HP Image Print software and trying to print from there.
Everything I seem to try results in the picture printing in one corner of the 8.5x11 paper from the paper tray, instead of from the photo tray on the photo paper.
Has anyone successfully printed to an HP Photosmart? If so, could you post the exact steps/selections you made to make it work? I'm stumped.

One other option that I have just tried successfully is to copy the photos back onto the memory card, put the card into the slot of the HP3210 and then print them off the card. The 3210 behaves as it should and accesses the photo tray with no hesitation.
I followed Old Toad's instructions in his response of June 15 to ddodge in this same forum: I replaced the blank memory card in my camera, connected it via ita USB cable to my computer, moved the 4 photos I wanted to print from iPhoto to Desktop and then from desktop to the camera icon on Finder. The whole process took less than a minute.
Hope this helps, but I still would like to print photo stock directly from iPhoto.

I see that you are getting blank pages and the printer won't align. I can help you with this.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
I have provided a document to go through the steps to see if that will resolve the issue.

HP PSC 1410 printing blank pages

I have recently installed windows 7 (32 bit) on my Asus G50 laptop. First thing i did was installing all the latest drivers from the HP website including the HP solution centre and other software. Now here's my problem:
Whenever i try to print anything through 3rd party software (i.e. browsers, Word, Notepad etc.) my PSC 1410 'prints' blank pages. The reason i say print is because i can hear the printerhead moving as if it was really printing and the paper gets pulled through in short steps like it normally would. There is however no ink on the pages.
Now here's the weird thing. When i check my ink levels in the solution centre, both color and black are over 75%. It get's even better now: When i use solution centre to print a test page or clean out the inkcartridges it works fine! It seems like all programs outside of HP software have problems communicating somehow.
i'm pretty sure i have the latest drivers installed (downloaded them 3 days ago). I'm running the 32bit version of Windows 7, kept nicely up to date, on an Asus G50v notebook. some technical specs for the lovers:
Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 (2.53 GHz)
Nvidia GeForce 9700M GT
4GB DDR3 RAM

I would like to assist you today with resolving the blank pages printing issue you're experiencing when printing from your Mac OS X 10.9.5 computer to your HP Photosmart C4280 All-in-One Printer. Can I please have you follow the troubleshooting steps below.
To start, I am going to have you print a standalone Print Quality Report to verify if the blank pages printing issue is being caused by your computer or by your printer.
Load letter, A4, or legal unused plain white paper into the input tray.
Press and hold the Cancel button (), and then press the Start Copy Color button ().
Release both buttons. The product prints a self-test report.
1. Printed by the left cartridge
2. Printed by the right cartridge
If the Print Quality Report prints perfectly: Than the blank printing issue is being caused by your Mac. Please do not proceed with troubleshooting at this time.
If the Print Quality Report prints blank, or is missing colour or black: Than the blank pages printing issue is being caused by your printer. Open the HP Printer Utility on your Mac and run the Printhead Clean. Should this fail to resolve the blank pages printing issue please click here. When the troubleshooting document opens run through 'Step five: Clean the Cartridge Contacts'. Once the cartridges have been manually cleaned, please test printing again.

My brand new HP x451dw only prints blank pages

My brand new HP x451dw only prints blank pages. I have never seen a drop of ink on a page since I have had and set up this printer, even during the set-up process.
All indications suggest that I have configured the printer correctly. I have communication from a variety of computers, ipads, etc. and all will get the correct number of pages to come out of the printer, all pages are blank. Likewise with the printer test page.
There has never been a drop of ink on any page since I took this out of the box.
I do not get any error messages. The printer thinks the ink cartridges are full - they are genuine, and they are full.
Any ideas anyone?

PC users print blank pages from Interactive PDF

Hi,
We have an interactive pdf that was created in Indesign CS6 on a Mac. It prints fine on all our printers. But our PC users either get an error message that they need to choose a printer, printer not found, or it prints mostly blank pages.
"This is what one user told me...If I indicate to print page 1 only. It prints with no problem. If I indicate, pages 1 through 5 or 2 through 5, I get a prompt that says unable to start print job, is printer available...and then a blank page comes out. My printer is a HP Photosmart 8250."
Something about the interactive PDF not working on a non-postscript printer?

I'm a Mac Pro OSX 10.8.5, not sure what OS the other designer has, but similar to me...
I do not know what version of Reader the users have. Varied versions most likely.
Also, I created the same kind of interactive document last year in CS 5.5 without an issue.

Black ink not printing on my hp photosmart 6510 printer

I have a HPphotosmart 6510 printer that all of a sudden doesn't print in black ink anmore. I have done everything that I read to do. Even replaced black ink a couple times. I don't want to replace my printer its not that old and I reall like it.

Printing blank copies

HP Photosmart 385, Windows 7 Printer shows ink in cartridge but printing blank copies. No error message. Replaced cartridge but still prints blank pages.
