Iphoto shipping issue

I have made a photo album in iPhoto using from Australia and wanting to ship it to the UK, can I do this?

  • ThinkPad Series (Twist) - shipping issues - 2012

I see another long shipping discussion from 2011.... starting one for 2012...
I ordered an s230u on Nov 23... no customization... initial estimated ship was Dec 10... then it progressed to Dec 23... Now it is Jan 28, 2013!
Anyone have any scoop on realities for this?
Wondering if I should cancel and simply go in search of something in stock locally

I have had pretty much the exact same jumping between dates as rabilancia, my order date was on Nov 10, and the ship date bounces between Dec 5 and Dec 10. One of the reasons I purchased this laptop was because it was supposed to ship within the first week of me ordering. I even confirmed it with my sales agent. She assured me it would not ship later than Nov 16th! She -I should add- will also  not return my calls concerning an issue with getting a EPP credit I forgot to menition during a hasty sale made at the end of Lenovo's business day.
I even spoke to someone else regarding the shipping issue, and was told that I was looking up my order status on the wrong page  (there are two pages on their site where you can look up you status and they are slightly different from one another), and assured me it was going to ship on Nov 29th. When I looked up the order status on the other page it clearly stated that my extra warranty was going to "ship" on Nov 29th, but the laptop itself was the same date I had complained to him about.....kind of feels like he just wanted to get me off the phone.
    Good times!
I purchased a Lenovo because I had so many problems with Dell, and heard they were a reliable company. Now all the same issues I had with Dell are slowly occuring with Lenovo. A protracted ship date, and poor customer service agets who are too eager to make a sale and make up any excuse to get off the hook with you when you call with a complaint. I just hope the quality of Lenovo`s products don`t mimick Dell`s.....my year and half old Dell XPS had a battery, motherboard and hard drive failure!
Sorry to rant, but this is aggrivating and I hope it is not foreshadowing problems to come.

  • IPhoto 11 issue ordering/shipping prints

I just upgraded to iPhoto 11 v9.4.2 and am having trouble ordering prints.  When I try to edit shipping method or shipping address, the system either freezes or lets me continue, but when I hit "Buy" nothing happens.  Anybody see a similar issue?  Suggestions to fix?
Running a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.8.2

I guess I will wrap this up. I have abandoned iPhoto and viewing my Photo Streams using it and moved to Adobe products (Bridge + PS). So that's that.

  • Iphoto book shipping issue-

    This is complicated.....
I have an American itunes account and US address for my apple id but have live in Australia and NZ.
When I create an ibook and then go to buy it the default shipping country is in New Zealand and I can't seem to change it.  Can't remember if I might have ordered an ibook while I was in New Zealand or not but the country is locked into NZ for shipping.
I am in Australia and created a book that I want to send to someone in the US and can't figure out how because AGAIN the shipping country seems to be "defualted" to New Zealand (where I did live) and there is no option for changing it.
    Please advise.

What version of iPhoto?  In '11 you set the country in the iPhoto preferences ==> print products country

  • HT1051 iPhoto book - international shipping issue...

Hi! I have just moved to Singapore from London & have created an iPhoto book that I would like to ship to my Singapore address. However, when I click to purchase the book, it refuses to accept my Singapore postcode.. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you!

With some many posts related to "shipping internationally from iPhoto" you would think Apple would chime in by now.  It really is a major failure on Apple's part that international shipping is not allowed.  Instead you force users to go to SNAPFISH or other 3rd party services - thus taking our money elsewhere.
Its been a problem for YEARS... please fix this Apple.  You can't expect users to open a credit card account in a different country - also its almost impossible to do for most people.

  • IPhone 4 iPhoto sync issue

Last week my camera roll synced with my iPhoto just fine. Had the iPhone 4 for only 1 and a half weeks. 1st iPhone ever but still have a second gen iPod Touch. This week none of my pictures taken from this weekend are syncing with iPhoto. Changes since last week, I took a few pictures with photo swap but I uninstalled that. I've also taken 1 screenshot but this issue started before that screenshot. I also have synced my iPod touch once or twice with the same iMac.
Everything in the camera roll but that screenshot was taken with the built in camera. I have a couple of videos in there. I've reset the phone a couple of times. I reset iSync. The other weird thing is that every time I open iPhoto it says my iPhone is connected and I can unmount it even when the iPhone is not connected. If I close iPhoto after unmounting the non-existent iPhone it is mounted again when I reopen iPhoto all without actually having my iPhone connected at any point.
Any suggestions? It's pretty unacceptable when I thought I could rely on my iPhone as a decent digital camera.

Try this:  make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
         User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto.  You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2:  In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

  • IPhoto '09 issues under Lion

I'm running iPhoto '09 (8.1.2) under Lion (10.7.2).  I've been trying to make a calendar, but iPhoto seems to have issues.  I started by duplicating a calendar from last year and trying to apply a new theme.  This causes iPhoto to become unresponsive until I click on a different calendar in the 'Keepsakes' list on the left panel.  Additionally, adding photos to the project often doesn't work - I drag photos to the project but they don't appear in the photo list when I open the project.
Does iPhoto '09 have any limitations under Lion?  I would upgrade to iPhoto '11 but the calendar theme choice is much more limited than iPhoto '09.
    thanks!
    Dan

No there are no specific issues with iPhoto 09 and 10.7
Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
    What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

  • IPhoto import issue

I'm trying to import an iPhoto Library from my main Mac (Mac Pro running OSX 10.6.8 & iPhoto 7.1.5) onto a new Mac (Mac Mini running 10.9 and the very latest iPhoto) and am running into a major issue.
    Steps so far:
    1. Copy the iPhoto Library from the Mac Pro to a 2TB External Drive.
    2. Plug the external drive into the Mac Mini
    3. Launch iPhoto on the Mac Mini
    4. Import the entire library via from the external drive into iPhoto
Naturally, this takes an eternity but at some point after importing the pics, I get the 'Finishing Import' for a while and then a window with the heading 'Unreadable Files'
This tells me that there are four images that can't be imported because of an unrecognisable format but
    1. I can't tell which images these are as the file name is truncated due to the window size.
    2. iPhoto hangs (not responding in the Force Quit menu and also a spiining ball of doom)
I can't even press the OK button because it's spinning wheel of doom time.
If I knew which images they were I could remove them via 'Show Package Contents' and then do a re-import (as tedious as that is) but right now all I know is which folders they're in.
I don't want to do a force quit but it looks like thats the only choice here unless anyone has some good suggestions?
    Any help greafully received

On the Mac Mini I created a new test iPhoto library and imported 4 pics from an SDHC card via the slot on the back of the mac Mini and everything worked as expected.
If the new library worked OK then try repairing your current library as follows: apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
iPhoto 8 (09) and earlier- run the options indicated
iPhoto 9 (11) and later- run  Option #4 to rebuild the database
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager (iPhoto 8 or earlier or IPhoto 11 and later) and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the
File ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 8 or earlier)
    or
Library ➙ Rebuild Library (iPhoto 9 or later)
menu option to rebuild the library.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • IPhoto deleting issues and iTunes syncing issues with IOS 5 on my iPhone.

While upgrading to IOS 5 my iphone (3gs) would not allow me to restore to back up so I had to restore to original settings, ugh, losing everything on my iphone. Thought this wouldn't be a problem but iTunes won't let me pick and choose what music I want to add anymore even though I have "pick checked music only" checked. It refers now only to full albums, etc, instead of whatever songs I want from each album. I had to create specific playlists with all the music I wanted on my iphone. And it only added one playlist. I have loads of space on my iPhone so don't know what the issue is. Does anyone know why I cannot add more than one playlist?
Also, I discovered I can't delete iPhoto pics on my iphone. I can trash whatever I add to my Camera Roll but nothing else. I had to designate a specific folder for pictures from iphoto to be added to iphone and those I cannot delete. Anyone know what to do here as well?
    Thanks!
Found answer to iPhoto question here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/7636294#7636294
...but still need help with music. thanks

It's inside the iPhoto Library package.  Open it from the Finder as show in this screenshot:
Then drag the iPod Photo Cache folder to the Trash, close the package, launch iPhoto and try again.

  • HT4236 Iphoto syncing issue from Mac to gen. 1 IPAD.

I synced my photos from my iphoto on my Mac to my 1 gen. IPAD. I watched all of the photos being synced one by one. Once this was completed I tried to view my photos and there was nothing there that I had just synced. When I go to my summary page on my IPAD using ITunes, the memory was actually taken out of "other" instead of photo (the amount of memory it would have used the sync all of the photos I did). What would cause this, where can I view the photos? Has anyone else out there had this issue?
    Thanks!
    West Palm

This is a long shot but close iPhoto, go to your Pictures folder and open the iPhoto package with the Finder as shown in this screenshot
Look for a folder named iPod Photo Cache
Move it to the Trash in the Dock. That's a folder that will be recreated then next time you sync.
Launch iPhoto and try syncing the iPad again.

  • Shipping issue

    Dear Guru's,
I have this issue, i created a Sales Order, then delivery was created and the quantity was picked and packed....The material that i am using is BATCH managed...
now i go to VT01N and created a shipment..... I enter a PLANNING DATE, and SHIPMENT COMPLETION DATE for execution. and everything looks good till now, i hit SAVE button.
*But the issue is, PGI is not getting done,*  when i go back and check the Shipping document i cannot see the SHIPMENT COMPLETION DATE checked......and so no PGI can be done, could you please tell me what might be the reason???
    Thanks
    Nidhi

    Hi Friend,
Can you se the material document no in vl02n doc flow?
I think it must not be there so try to check what is the reason its not letting you to do PGI. Probalbly batch managment is the issue.
Also check whether route is determined or not for shipping problem.

  • IPhoto profile issue explored

I've read other posts here about the issue of dim and oversaturated photos in iPhoto. I am also experiencing this. Here's what I've learned.
I've had a Canon Rebel XT for a couple years, and we use it exclusively with iPhoto. I've had no problems with it. I just sold it and got a Canon 40d. This is when I begin experiencing the problem. I usually shoot with my camera set to sRGB, but also experienced with this with Adobe RGB.
If I import a picture with the 'assign colorsync profile' checked in iPhoto, the photo is dark. If I export the file and view in preview, the photo is dark as well. The preview info shows the profile: Camera RGB profile.
When I de-select that option in iPhoto, the photo looks the same viewed in iPhoto. But when I export it, and view it in Preview, it looks correct. The preview info shows the profile as: '-'. When I look at an old picture taken with the Rebel XT, the preview info shows the profile as "Canon Digital Rebel XT". Interesting.
Now, I took the same photo imported two different ways (with and without the iPhoto profile assign option), and copied them onto my Macbook Pro, which is running Leopard (my iMac runs Tiger). The photo imported with the iPhoto profile assign still shows 'camera RGB'. The one imported without shows 'sRGB IEC......'. Very interesting, that the sRGB profile assigned by my 40d is correctly shown in Leopard, but not Tiger. iPhoto also shows both photos properly on my MacBook Pro, as well as anything imported with or without the 'assign profile' option. Hmmm.
So, on my iMac where I'm having the problem, I run the automator script by Mr. Toad to assign sRGB to a jpg, reload it into iPhoto and BOOM - looks correct.
All this to say - I'm totally at a loss on how to solve this, and I'm wondering if any experts have any insight. It's obviously a problem with iPhoto and what profile it's using to view photos. I've seen others with this problem running Leopard, so I doubt this problem is exclusive to one version of OS X.
    Thanks in advance,
    - Kent Hooper

I've been tearing my hair out with this. My problems began after installing Leopard and ILife 08. It wasn't just my 40D images that were dark. Suddenly all my 300D images from way back were dark too.
I began to think it has something to do with the screen calibration and tried to re-calibrate using Supercal but couldn't even see the test patterns. Then I learnt that in Preferences/Universal Access (which I'd never touched) there is a contrast slider which was set way too dark. Putting this to 'normal' made my screen look much better (the stars came out on the Leopard desktop background!).
My iPhoto photos now look about right. Perhaps different programs were choosing the take notice or ignore this contrast slider.

  • IPhoto 11 issues syncing via itunes and rebuilding database

Hopefully someone can help here. I originally had an issue where some photos in an event would not sync. They are viewable OK in iPhoto, ut will not sync, even if they are renamed or editted. Based on some research I deleted the iPod photo cache to rebuild the Phone and iPad optimised versions. Now I can sync the event I had an issue with, but have another issue. Now I cannot sync all photos, events, etc.. I get "The iPhone cannot be synced. An unknonw error occured (-50). I can sync a subset, but seem to have an issue with 3 "Faces". If I go into iPhoto and look at all the photos that contain those Faces it all looks OK.
My assumption is that this is some kind of corruption in the iPhoto database, So I have tried to use the tools to fix it. A reapir of the permissions works OK, but when I try to repair the library database it flies along to 69% and then gets stuck.
I have put a lot of work into the faces and locations sections, so I would really like to fix this instead creating a new library.
    Any ideas?

OK, some progress, btu not out of the woods yet.
THrough trial and error I found that by deleting the 3 of my 'faces' that would not sync I can now sync all photos again. i have since recreated then and can still sync it all. it seems that I still have an issue with the iPhoto database though as a repair sticks at 69%
I could live with this as it does not seem to be having an effect, but I am worried what it may mean in future.

  • Iphoto prints - issue sending an order

I'm trying to send in an order to make prints from iPhoto.  Able to log in with Apple ID, I successfully select the number of prints, but when I place the order, the Assembly step doesn't do anything.  It says "your order is being prepared and uploaded"...but nothing happens.  Fast internet conneciton, no issues accessing iTunes etc.

I've also just tried to boot in safe mode, and the trying to order. Nothing happened, it just kept assembling without moving at all.
Trying to figure out, how I can get my photos from my iMac to my Macbook, and then have a try from there.
This is really annoying, hope someone knows how to handle this problem.
Thanks for the suggestion with Safe Mode Old Toad though...
