IPhoto Sync with 9900

Hi Guys,
Could you help with something?
I am unable to sync my iPhoto pictures with my 9900 on Mac Blackberry Desktop Software. For some reason in the Desktop Manager window, noone of my events/albums are listed? Just two complete blank windows.
Sharing is enabled in iPhoto and the Desktop Software launches iPhoto when i press the launch iPhoto button.
Any ideas??

It also does not sync with iTunes correctly. I sync the tracks once which is fine, but on the next sync it trys to copy the tracks over again?? duplicating them.

IPhoto - Sync with 3GS and 4G

Hi there,
Help please. Strangely enough but none of my photos and videos in iPhoto can sync with both of my phones (3GS and 4G). Both worked just fine a couple of days ago.

I am having the exact same problem. After a extensive wait without syncing (optimizing never finishes), I finally must force quit itunes to get my phone and mac back! As a result, I have only "photo roll" in my iphone 3gs

IPhoto sync with iOS Devices does not work

I have an 2007 iMac with OS X 10.9.1, iTunes 11.1.3 and iPhoto 9.5.1.
I have an iPad 2 with iOS 7.0.4 and iPhone 4 with iOS 7.0.4.
Around the update to OS X 10.9 I have the problem that I can't sync my iPhoto pictures with my iOS devices anymore.
Beforehand I had no problem. But I can't tell exactly when this problem pop up the first time. (iOS 7, OSX 10.9, iTunes or iPhoto update???)
The problem is: I can sync all my content with my iOS devices per iTunes without any problemsbut not the fotos from the iPhoto library.
If I go to the Foto sync page in iTunes I see all my iPhoto Albums, Events, ... I can select and desect all these items. But if I sync this items I see that in the used memory bar no pictures are shown, the foto count do not show any number and on the iOS device all pictures are removed.
To fix this problem I have tried some options.
I have disabled the foto sync in iTunes, close iTunes, close iPhoto, remove the iPod cache from the iPhoto library, recreated the iPhoto database, obened iPhot and iTunes again, connectd the iOS device and try to sync some albums from the iPhoto libray again. But no pictuers are synced.
I have created a new iPhoto library and added some fotos to the new library, created some albums. Then I tried to sync the iOS device with this library. The first sync wored. :-). But then I disconnected the iOS device and later I connected it again and synced another time and all fotos are gone again.
The only way I can sync my fotos is to switch to folder sync instead of iPhoto library sync. This work, but this is a very bad option!
What can I do to fix this problem?

Open the iPhoto Libraray with the Finder as shown in this screenshot
and locate the folder titled iPod Photo Cache and move it to the Desktop.
Close iPhoto, lanuch and try again.

Can iphoto sync with 2 ipods?

Hi everybody,
It seems that you can't synchronize photos from the the iphoto library with 2 ipods, or an appletv and an ipod! Am I right or am I missing something?

iTunes is set so that it syncs the whole iPhoto lib with AppleTV and just one album with my iPhone. When I synchronize the latter, it just attempts to synchronize the photos but after a few seconds it shows that error icon (a little triangle with an exclamation mark inside) without any messages.
I haven't tried to sync the whole iPhoto library to the iPhone but the only way to get it to transfer any photos at all is by copying them into a new folder and sunc iPhone with that particular folder.
Finally, I have tried deleting the ipod photo cache but then, only the first device of the two syncs the photos and the other doesn't.

IPhoto sync with Apple TV

My events in iPhoto appear in alphabetical order. When they appear after syncing on Apple TV the order seems totally random. Is it possible to ensure they appear in alphabetical order in my photos on Apple TV?

So I think the problem is in the library, but I can't figure what I have to do to fix it. I am able to use iPhoto correctly and tried to rebuild the library, but that doesn't help (17,500 photo's and rebuilding only takes one minute, is that correct?). Any more ideas where I can look into? I already did a complete reinstall of the imac and resetted the appletv to factory settings, updated both to the newest versions. I moved the old library from the external harddisk and made it accessible to two users.

Iphoto sync with apple tv crash itunes

When I try to sync my photos using iphoto to my apple tv, itunes latest version crashes.
I have been able to sync the photos without using iphoto, any ideas.
I think that this is a bug.

Hi,
I was given this laptop at work, and i used it to sign in to my icloud account. it sync photos with iPhotos. Before leaving my job, i returned the laptop. But before giving in the laptop, i turned i cloud services and everything off but when I checked the iPhoto on that machine, I could see still some of my photos are there.
Does anyone know although i signed out from icloud and deleted the photos, why those photos are still visible in iPhoto?

Hi All,
I sync my iPhone with iPhoto and its great but theres one small thing that bothers me. When I sync I see 4 folders when I hit the Photo app in my iPhone. Camera Roll, Photo Library, Last 12 Months, and Last Import. I want to get rid of last 12 months and last import, how would I do this?

I have created an album within iPhoto names iPhone that includes all the photos I want to sync to my iPhone. Then I have selected to sync from iPhoto using selected albums, events and faces and automatically include no events. The only thing I select from the list is the album "iPhone". I don't check any events or faces. My Photos tab in iTunes looks like this:

Stopping iPhoto sync with MobileMe

I just installed iPhoto '09 and am editing my photos to include places. Unfortunately, every time I edit a photo that is in an album that has been published to the MobileMe gallery, iPhoto tries to sync the changes the photo, which grinds all other activity to a halt.
I keep telling iPhoto to stop syncing, but the software does whatever it wants.
Is there a way to stop this short of deleting all my published albums and re-publishing them after I have edited my library?

Have you set the iPhoto preference for web syncing to manual?

Photos edited on iOS iphoto sync with OS X iPhoto?

I understand how to sync photos from iPhoto on my MBP to my iPad through iTunes by checking the box to sync photos from my iPhoto library on my MBP.
So that gets the photos on my iPad. I like using iPhoto on my iPad to edit those photos (straighten, crop, etc...). When I'm done editing, I want those edited photos to replace the original in my MBP iPhoto library.
Is this possible, if so, how do I do this?

No - you can sync it to the Mac (or use PhotoStream) and import to iPhoto as a new photo

ITunes sync with iPhoto Problem

Hi everybody,
i'm experiencing a tedious issue with iTunes and the iPhoto syncronization with i-devices.
I'm running iTunes 10.4 , iPhoto 9.1.5 and i have an iPhone 4 and an iPad both running iOS 4.3.5.
When i sync my iPhone with iTunes i usually chose only 3 separated iPhoto events and no problems occurs in copying the photos on the device.
When i sync my iPad instead i get the following problem:
the same as with the iPhone i choose a limited number of iPhoto events to sync with the iPad but the photos count shown in the iTunes screen is a lot different then the real number of the photos in the iPhoto events. To be clear:
Event 1 contains 300 photos in iPhoto
In the syncing screen of iTunes for the iPad Event 1 contains only 3 photo.
As a result only 3 photo are transferred to the iPad.
I tried to repair and rebuild the iPhoto library (alt+cmd+start iphoto) selecting all the options except the rebuild database from backup option. Nothing changed.
I tried to reset iphoto syncing with the iPad doing as follow:
connect iPad
select "don'y sync photos"
choose "Erase all photo from the Device"
disconnect
Reboot both devices
reconnect iPad
choose sync again.
Nothing changed again
At last i tried to erase the content of the "ipod photo cache" folder as suggested in other threads in this forums but when i reconnected the iPad and tried to resync nothing changed.
Beaside that i tried even to control and repair permissions on the entire HD with Disc Utility but again i had no differences with the problem.
Does anybody experienced the same problem? There is any known solution? Anything else i could try?

I am having a similar issue. My iPhone 4, my wife's iPhone 3GS and my iPad 2 will start to sync with iTunes on my MacBook (running Lion) and when it begins to import photos from iPhoto, I get a (-50) error and the sync quits. Some events sync just fine but others trigger the error message.
I have deleted the iPod Photo Cache, reinstalled iTunes, reinstalled iPhoto, repaired and rebuilt my iPhoto library, restored my iPhone to factory settings, repaired permissions on my MacBook and anything else I could think of or found in previous postings. Nothing has worked.
Please help! This is incredibly frustrating and no one at Apple has been able to help. Thank you!

Flickr - help with keeping sync with iPhoto

Need some reassurance I think - I have just used the Backup to flickr iPhoto app. Photos have gone across finally after 3 days but the albums appear mixed up. Not sure why an event is showing other items not included in the event in iPhoto? anyway - what I need to know please is does iPhoto sync with flickr automatically or do I have to prompt it? I am using the app rather than sharing to flicker from iPhoto(which I did try first off but after a week of uploading gave up!!)

Which of the programs in Windows 7 will sync with the iPhone 3GS? Does anyone know? I'd like a simple list please.

I believe I have it set up to sync with iTunes, because for the first time today I plugged in my iPhone to my Macbook Pro and iTunes and iPhoto started up... I then saw "syncing with iPhone" on top of iTunes.
Is there a setting I need to configure (on either my iPhone or the programs themselves) to have it sync with my address book and calendar?

MobileMe-iPhoto Sync

iPhoto syncs with photos I have on MobileMe. But when it does it makes a copy of any files I have on MobileMe, and puts that file in the iPhoto Library. I don't need copies of things I put on MobileMe added to my iPhoto Library, it takes up too much space, and I often upload to MM from other means (Like photos exported from Lightroom), and I don't need copies stored in iPhoto also. Is there a way I can make it so iPhoto won't copy files from MM to itself without turning off the preference "Copy items to iPhoto Library" (assuming that would stop iPhoto from copying items from MM). I like having iPhoto copy files to itself when imported (Keeps my wife from deleting photos when she cleans up her desktop). Or, is there a way to make iPhoto not sync from MobileMe to itself at all?

I just really want to be able to allow photos to be uploaded to me somehow and have them automagically find their way back into the proper event in iPhoto.
Simply, this is not a feature at this time.
