    Recently I have reset my phone to Factory Setting, due to some problem that I'm having with my phone. Now, after resetting my phone to the factory setting, each time I off my phone (without removing the battery) and on it after that, I will have to update my phone date and time which before this I did not have to do that. Before i did the resetting,my phone will just on and no need fop me to do the time and date updating. If you ask me to on the auto update time,my service provider doesn't support this...how to set it back to its original state before i did the reset factory setting.

    This is usually a symptom of a faulty auxilliary battery. The auxilliary is a small battery inside the phone and not the normal battery and can only be replaced by a Nokia Care Point. It should be replaced under warranty if your phone is still under warranty.

  • Time and date problems

    Since I updated my iTouch to v 2.0, it's been having problems keeping the date and time. It usually reverts to 7 days ago and about 6 hours earlier. I had no problems when using v 1.1.4
    Has anyone else had these problems?

    In many cases, this occurs when you connect your iPod to the computer when iTunes has an incorrect backup date. I recently experienced this issue as well, and was able to fix it with little difficulty. Here's what I did.
    1. Disconnect your iPod from the computer.
    2. Make sure that the time and date on your computer is correct.
    3a. In iTunes, go to Edit => Preferences => Syncing.
    3b. You should see your device listed there, along with that same $#%& incorrect date and time. Select it and press "Remove Backup".
    4. Close out of and reopen iTunes.
    5. Reconnect your iPod. It will create a new backup to replace the one you just deleted, with the (hopefully) correct date and time, and your iPod's date and time will change to mirror that of your computer's.
    I hope that helps!

  • Nokia E71 time and date problems.

    I cant ever set the time and date of my nokia E71. Anytime i access the time and date settings, it just doesn't go through. Please help me out.

    Hi Faces1,
    Welcome to Nokia discussions board!
    In order to fix this issue, I advise you to perform a soft reset on your phone: type *#7780#. Default lock code is 12345. If the issue persists, perform a hard reset. First of all, back up your data using Nokia Suite (Tools > Back up). Once your data is fully backed up,  type *#7370# on the keypad.
    Alternatively, you may also check for updates on Nokia Suite (by going to Tools > Updates).
    Then try to set the time and date again.
    Let us know how you get on and feel free to post any other questions you may have.

  • My gradson got ahold of my grandaughters IPod touch and I no longer have a settings button.  The time and date on this is wrong.  How can I fix this problem.

    I need help...  I no longer have all of the buttons on my IPod touch screen.  My grandson got a hold of it and boom..  The time and date is wrong also, and I have no access to fix this problem.  There is no settings button.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Assuming that by buttons your mean the icons for various apps are missing, use the Spotlight search feature (double click the Home button and go all the way to the left past the music controls) and search for: Settings. Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Screen layout and also correct the time inthe Genera settings.
    The Setting app can't be deleted or hidden via Restrictions.

  • How do I keep the time and date stamp of my photo when exporting from iphoto

    Hi,
    I notice the time and date stamp changed when I exported the photos from iPhoto 11 to a external HDD.
    When I looked at the information about the exported photos on my external HDD the time and date changed to the time and date of when I exported the photos form iPhoto instead of keeping the time and date information of when the photo was taken as it appears in iPhoto.
    I thought the time and date stamp is in the meta data of the photo file and can't be changed, am I correct?
    Thanks,

    Kyzelios,
    How can view the meta data from "finder" or do I need a 3rd party app?
    "Get info" function only gives me the creation date which is the export date and time.

  • RE: Time and Date Changed by itself

    The date and time will change to the wrong one automatically especially after the batt died. This repeated itself regardless on how many times i readjust the time and date to the right one. Someone please help me.

    I had the same problem today. I also have the iPod 4g, no problems up until today. First make sure you calender is set to "Gregorian, you can do this by going to Settings --> General --> International, and you will see the calender options, mark Gregorian. Still didn't work? Try this: I experimented a little, and what i did was: First, I went to Settings --> General --> Date and Time --> Set Date & Time (before doing this make sure you're in the correct time zone) and here you can change the time and date. But, if it changes automatically, go to the date, and you may have the same problem here, but here's what i did. I couldn't change the month, or day, but i could change the year. Change the year to 2011, and then all the other options should come up. Hope this helped!

  • How to get System Time and Date?

    Hi, may i know how do i get the System's current Time and Date?? And i need to format them into 2 separate String, that's Time is a String, Date is another String. Pls guide me. Thanks a lot!

    What's the problem? The previous example was pretty clear. Just adapt it to your purposes...
            Date currentDateAndTime = new Date();
            SimpleDateFormat dateFormat = new SimpleDateFormat("dd-MM-yyyy");
            SimpleDateFormat timeFormat = new SimpleDateFormat("HH:mm:ss");
            System.out.println(dateFormat.format(currentDateAndTime));
            System.out.println(timeFormat.format(currentDateAndTime));

  • Printing current time and date on a pdf document

    I wish for a pdf document to print the current time and date in the same place at the foot of each page, to the following format:
    Aug 04 2009, 5:11 pm.
    How do I do this please? Annoyingly I have managed it in the past, but when I open up my old documents and paste the relevant field into my new document, it either prints the old date/time or else prints the present date/time, but then doesn't refresh the next time I try to print - ie it stays at one date/time.
    I'd like to start again from scratch so that I have a better idea of how it works!!
    Regards
    Tony

    Eureka!
    I now have the answer, and hopefully this will help anybody else with a similar problem.
    In Acrobat:
    Create a text field and place it in the chosen place on the pdf form. Label it "datebox" in the General tab of Text Field Properties, and apply your character styles in the Appearance tab.
    Under the "Advanced" menu, go to "Document Processing" and then "Set Document Actions"
    Click on "Document Will Print" and then hit the "Edit" button. In the "JavaScript Editor" paste the following:
    var myfield=getField("datebox");
    var date=new Date();
    date=util.printd("mmm dd yyyy, h:MM tt", date);
    myfield.value=date;
    Hit OK.
    You have now given the instruction that whenever you print, the field named "datebox" will print the current time and date in the following format:
    Aug 05 2009, 9.37 am

  • Why is my macpro reseted time and date?

    Ok,eventually my macpro reseted his date and time to something about 2001... The point is,that i bought this laptop from a friend few months ago, and i even forgot to ask for a login password,and after that and didnt even consider reseting users. The problem with the time and date change,came another problem,i cant even use safari regulary,on sites such is facebook,or even apple .com,without getting a verification security verisign,without blocking the site that i am trying to get in to. Only way is to "trust" that site is manually sign it as "trusted" with your login and a password from your mac. Which i dont know,even my friend dont know the password,the one that i bought it from. Just to make some things straight,its not stolen,i bought it from an original owner,no matter how awkward this situation looks like. Thanks in advance for a any ideas.

    Hi all

  • Help - EXIF time and date not working correctly

    I am a long time Lightroom user and am trying out Aperture 2.1. I like it a lot but I just found a serious problem. I'm importing some old photos into my Aperture library, by referencing the files in an existing folder. The time and date for some of the files gets messed up. When I view these files in LR the time and date is fine. When I look at the "date created" in the Finder, the time is also messed up. For a photo shoot I did in Europe, the time for some images has the right date & time when converted to US time, but for some images it has the right date & time but as if it were in the US time zone. The files are all Nikon NEFs.
    Also, when I view the files in the Aperture import dialog box they are in the right order. But when they get imported and I'm looking at them in Aperture they are in the wrong order.

    OK, I give up. Turns out that after one successful import where the dates were ok, subsequent imports have the dates messed up again - whether in Quick or Normal mode. I also tried importing to a new collection, and also tried importing after rebuilding the library (via command-option click in the dock). Still hving this problem.

  • Can't get past the time and date intial set up screen can anyone please help?

    We purchased Apple TV last night, hooked everything up according to the directions, until we get to the Setting Time and Date Screen, which Apple TV- for more than 12 hours now, has been trying to establish.  We've set the time zone both manually and automatically, I have emailed and tweeted Apple Support but no help so far, this is my last plea before I return it.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
    You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
    Also try restarting the router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    If the problem persists, try a restore, you may want to try the previous procedures several times before doing this.
    If restoring from the Apple TV doesn't help, try restoring from iTunes using a USB cable.
    If this is a new Apple TV, in addition to trying the above, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123.
