imac with latest updates / iphone 5 , worked previous to iphone recent update , had to rebuild the photo library first now it downloads nothing new when i plug in the phone to the imac

I figured out the fix for the Mac users having this problem. I connected my iPhone to my iMac and started iTunes. A dialogue came up in iTunes, I OK'd that and then OK'd the usual "Do you trust this Mac" that comes up on my iPhone.
Suddenly Image Capture launched itself and there were all my photos, ready to be downloaded.
As a workaround see if Image Capture can see and download your photos to a folder on the Desktop. They can be imported from there into iPhoto.

You might also need to turn Preview generation off for any existing Projects. Select the Project in the Projects pane and use the cog button at the top of the pane to uncheck 'Maintain Previews For Project'.

I have a Nikon D600 and D800 and I shoot everything in Raw. I use Photoshop Elements 9 for processing but I have been unable to convert any RAW files to open in PSE. Says unable to parse the file. What does this mean and how do I fix it?
Since pse 9 can only use up to camera raw 6.5 and the d600 needs at least 7.3 and the d800 needs at least 6.7, you can use the
8.6 adobe dng converter to convert those files to dng copies, which then pse 9 should open.

Iphoto will no longer open when attaching my Canon Eos Camera. I have checked the camera and everything is working perfecty. When I open it myself, Iphoto is working perfectly too. But now when I attach the camera, Iphoto no longer opens at all. Yesterday it did open after a really long wait but it kept saying that it did not recognize the "format" of the images....they were jpegs??? Then it flashed on and off and if I hit download at just the right second they would download. But today it won't work at all. Any suggestions.

My computer (windows 8) will no longer recognize my iphone
Just recently (last two weeks) when in itunes-it does not recognize that my iphone is connected. I can here the connection (beep) and it shows up in my hardware panel, so the computer knows its there. I've reinstalled Itunes, deleted, updated, reinstalled drivers, changed USB wires-what esle can it be.
Its almost as if the Iphone is being told to open in WIndows phone (its tried a couple times, so i deleted windows phone app on laptop) and now it opens the phone as a file...when i right click it doesnt allow me to tell it to "open with" so theres notheing to change....anyone?Found it..the other sites had me updated the driver, but for some reason it was updating and locating wrong driver.
To find correct Apple Driver...
Go into Control Panel>Device Manager>Portable Devices> Apple Iphone>right click Iphone and select UPDATE DRIVER SOFTWARE- From there choose LOCATE ON MY COMPUTER...Important look for this file and update:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
Reopen itunes and reconnect phone to computer-should come up right away. -
My Note 2 will no longer recognize my SD card after 4.3 android update
After the 4.3 update my phone recieved yesterday my SD card will no longer work. I have a 32 GB ScanDisk Ultra SD card. I will either get the error messages that it is blank..which it isnt I can view the files on my computer using an adaper. Or i will get a message after I insert my card saying it is preparing my SD and checking for errors and then another message will come up saving I can safely remove my SD card. In the storage settings it gives me the option to mount my sd card and when I select it my phone freezes and then crashes. Any advice? This is really starting to get irritating..especially when i know there is ntohing wrong with the card.!

Could be a problem with the USB port on your computer. Try a different port.
Also reboot the computer and reset the iPhone. To reset the iPhone press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
As it says in the title,my 1st generation iPad will not connect or be recognizes by my computer. Yet my computer has no problems with my iPhone or my itouch. What am I doing wrong? Something in the settings? I have no clue, please help
Today, when I turned on my iMac, neither my bluetooth mouse or keyboard were recognized. I had to connect my old USB keyboard-mouse to type this message.

It doesn't need transferring, gift cards are redeemed onto an iTunes account not a device, so if you are using the same iTunes account on both devices then it will be available to spend on both devices. If it's not showing next to your id at, for example, the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app beneath your id then try tapping on your id and log out of it and then log back in and see if it then shows.

Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. If it's been more than 30 days their gone now. If it hasn't, you would have to set up iCloud on your PC as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html, then sign into your account and enable photo stream.
Camera roll photos would be included in your iCloud backup, if you had one, but could only be access by restoring the backup to another iPhone or iPod Touch. Also, Apple deletes backups after 180 days of inactivity. -

What system are you using Mac or Windows?
a. If Windows. run Chkdsk drive: /F
b. if Mac run Diskutilty -> CRC
Click on the iPod device
select FirstAid tab on the right window.
click on the first Aid Button.
Then connect to iTunes and Restore.

I updated my iPhone 5s to 7.1.2 yesterday, and I now cannot input my PIN number. The screen says i need to input my Apple Id and then my Icloud Password. The phone cannot accept these inputs because I can't switch it on because the PIN number cannot be put in ????????????????????????????/

I'm updating and it asks for another account which has been shutdown
I'm attempting to update Imovie and as i go to do this it asks me to sign into my apple ID for an old account which apple had shutdown as it was hacked! I need to update this and there is no other way that i can see!

If Apple canceled that account, then you will have to re purchase iMovie with the new iD.
Apps can only be updated from the Apple ID used for the original purchase and download.
To avoid having your account hacked again, change your password often > Apple ID: Changing your password -

From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.
