IPhoto will not load all the way

Hey All,
I have tried to get iPhoto to load on my MACBook Pro but it willl not open all the way. iPhoto will load the toolbar but then stop. I am running OS 10.7 and I have iLife 11. I have done all of the updrades and it still will not load. I finally got discusted and completely removed it and reinstalled it. I also repaired all of my permissions with disk utility. Please assist if you can, I am at my wits end.

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

Maybe this:
- Reset the iPod, nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

iOS: Troubleshooting applications purchased from the App Store
- Last, restore the iPod

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?

Officejet Pro 8600 Plus paper tray will not go all the way in so cannot print

Have loved this printer for almost two years but suddenly the drawer which holds the paper will not go all the way in so cannot print. Took it to a so-called tech at Office Depot who said that because you cannot open/remove the tray, there is no way to see what is jamming it. Any thoughts? My first call for tech support was answered by a tech here in the US who said they had experience with it and it could be fixed and asked dme to call again when I was back in the office and at the printer. The next four calls were answered overseas and they all had had no experience with this problem.

You can try to resetting Safari. Tap Settings, then tap Safari on the left side. Then on the right side - tap clear history, clear cookies, clear cache. Clear all three. Reboot your iPad. Hold down on the sleep button at the top until the red slider appears and slide to power off. Then hold down on the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and the iPad will restart. Launch Safari and see if helped.
If you are trying to scroll through an area of text and can't scroll to the bottom try a two finger scroll.

Thanks for this post. It corrected my similar issue. Note that you need to exit from/re-enter iTunes after deleting the song from your Purchased list.

MP4 crated in CC LR will not play all the way through.

I created an MP4 on CC LR that will not play all the way through on my web site. When I play it on our site it shows the first three images (there are a total of 26) and then starts over and yet when I play it from my Desktop it works perfectly. I just downloaded an album off of itunes and now it will not play all the way through. how do i fix the unfinished songs

i downloaded tragic kingdom by no doubt and about four of tthe songs will play about forty seconds in and switch to the next song, they do not play all the way through. i went through troubleshooting online but it was unhelpful and did not fix my problem. i need help, please!

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

HT201210 the screen on my ipod touch will only show the apple icon it will not turn all the way on

the screen on my ipod touch only shows the apple logo.it will not shut off or turn all the way on and when plugged into itunes it will not allow the newest update

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Music will not play all the way through

I have created a slide show in Iphoto '11 with 98 pictures. The show is 7 minutes long. I want to play music all the way through but it will only play 2 songs then the music stops. I have added more songs but only the first 2 will play. I have tried numerous times to add more songs but cannot get past the first 2. I have an iMac OS 10.6.7, 4GB memory, 3.06GHz. Thanks for any help.

FarmTown in Facebook will not open all the way? Why? I can't use Firefox :(

I just downloaded Firefox for the second time. I uninstalled it the first time because it would not open Farm Town all the way. I only get the bottom part, and not the farms.
I figured I would try downloading your program again, and the same problem. I can't use Farm Town. I downloaded it the standard way, I didn't try to change anything when it was going to be downloaded....I am using Windows 7. I'd appreciate hearing from you at your earliest convenience

IPad not loading all the way,esp.on FB ,on wireless,it's working just fine but this

I 'm having a problem trying to load all my pages on Facebook,......iPad loads maybe one full screen here and then won't go any further. Even the loading circle ....lefthand top.....won't go round? I'm getting my emails in just fine ,it's just a few sites .......news.com.au loads okay and I can 'turn'over to the next screen etc but the minute I get on Facebook, this darned pad has a 'brain lock!'
My big PC is working okay ,can get everywhere on Facebook but not my iPad?
Wireless is connected too so what can be wrong? Only had this for 8 months ,not an old pad by any means. It's been like this for about 24 hours now .when I hit a page link ,it just sits and looks at me:) No loading circle or anything!
