Iphoto will not load!!! Giving me "alerts" after update??? HELP!

I received an update for Iphoto and just let it do it's thing. Well as I tried to re-open iphoto after the install.... it has a small menu box in the background saying "updating thumbnails" (which I can't get to) because in front of that pop-up I keep getting a pop-up menu that says "The photo “DSC_0072.JPG” could not be opened, because the original item cannot be found." When I hit "cancel", or "find phto" it gives me more pop-up menus stating the same exact thing but with a differet pic. I know my photos are SOMEWHERE because when I hit the "find photo" button, it allows me to search for where the picture could be which pulls up all of my pics???? I cannot figure this out! I don't know if one of the kids got on the computer before the update was complete or what. Any ideas or suggestions GREATLY appreciated... my pictures are my life and last backup was over two months ago (shame on me, I know!)

Hello all I was just wondering if anyone is having the problem of the Iphone not loading your email on the mail button on the phone after the new update. I press mail on my phone and it just sits there and spins for a while then stops never checks for new mail. If so what can I do to fix this?

IPhoto Will not Load even after reinstall

All of a sudden, iphoto will not load....I receive this error:

I reinstalled iphoto from the disk (so now I have iphoto and iphone (original) .....i reboot and then try to access the new iphoto....same error. iphoto library appears ok. I can still attach a pic via "photo browser" button in email.

ok, I trashed all of the receipts related to iphoto (once i knew to search on "iphoto receipts" this is what everyone said). I relaoded from the ilife '11 disk.....tried to load iphoto and got what you see below...same exact issue.

IPhoto will not load the iPhoto library. When I select "show all windows" the library does appear but cannot open it. I am on version 8.1.2 and using Maverick.

I was able to get it fixed. I had received some responses and they had me
recreate the library I believe. It's been a while so I cant remember
exactly what I did. I have since upgraded to the latest i photo version and
have had no problems with it.

It will just stick in the start up mode with the pinwheel spinning, (no color, large wheel) I am running os x lion 10.7.2, updated iphoto software to 9.2.1 and tried trashing iphoto.plist file with no luck. Try updating your QuickTime Player to the most recent version. Does that clear up the launch errors?

IPhoto will not load, what can I do?

I have a Mac OS X Version 10.6.8 and iPhoto 11' and version 9.2.3. I have been using my iPhoto quite frequently to upload pictures and all of a sudden, when I click to open iPhoto, the loading symbol will continue to circle, but iPhoto will not open. I am not at risk of losing my photos because I save them to a separate location as well, but I am now unable to load my photos from my camera to my iPhoto, which is a huge incovenience. Also, I am currently abroad so I am unable to go to an Apple store and receive help from the Genius Bar. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried to see if I have any sofware updates available, but there are none. I'm not very good at computers so I am afraid to try anything at the risk of making things worse. Thank you!

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called Originals (in iPhoto 09 or earlier) or Masters (in iPhoto 11)
Drag it to the Desktop.
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
From the recovered Masters/ Originals folder, drag the individual Event folders to the iPhoto Window to import them to the new Library.
Important: This is a last resort solution. It will be as though you never used iPhoto before. No edits, no keywords, no albums, no books, no slideshows etc. Just the original photos.
Takeaway message: You always need an up-to-date back up of your iPhoto Library

I'm having a problem with IPhoto because it will not load any of my pictures. It only has the spinning wheel on the iphoto page but I leave it on for a while and it doesn't give me my pictures. How do I fix this?

IPhoto will not load all the way

I have tried to get iPhoto to load on my MACBook Pro but it willl not open all the way. iPhoto will load the toolbar but then stop. I am running OS 10.7 and I have iLife 11. I have done all of the updrades and it still will not load. I finally got discusted and completely removed it and reinstalled it. I also repaired all of my permissions with disk utility. Please assist if you can, I am at my wits end.

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

Iphoto will not load my photos

Hello There,
This happened so randomly that I honestly do not know what had happened. My iphoto suddenly will not load any pictures that have been stored inside.
The keeps showing this colourful wheel thingy.
I tried pressing <option> & <command> tab to rebuild the photos, but to no avail.
Can somebody help me please ?

Safari will not load a home page after dload of Svc. Pack 3 for XP!!

After an upgrade by Microsoft to Service Pack 3 for Windows XP Pro, Safari will not load a home page of any kind and I get a blank screen where I normally am able to get Yahoo's Web Page instead.
Please help!!

Probably a good idea to uninstall and then reinstall safari. I got service pack 3 and safari just disappeared, I have reinstalled it and had no problems (other than a 'SPELLING AND GRAMMAR ERROR' pop up as per my other post!

Application will not load on 2nd iphone after 3.0

I have 2 iphones, before the 3.0 update I was able to manage all my apps on one computer and sync it with both iphones.
Now The 2nd iphone will not load from the computer even though they are there and the sync preferences are set to sync them.

Firefox will not load; It said it was updating and now it just says not responding

Firefox said it was updating,since the updates,it will no longer run, it just says not responding; I have windows XP. I have Uninstalled and re-installed., I bought the PC health Advisor, nothing works.Nonresponding, it will not load.

You could try the new Reset feature. This duplicates certain key data from your active settings folder into a new one, bypassing some add-ons and custom settings. Your plugins will still be active, but could be disabled manually if you like.

Does it work better after a reset?

Firefox will not load any web pages since update

Using Galaxy Nexus, installed update today. I have ICS version 4.0.1. Pages will not load at all. Even the firefox pages on the home page will not load. I verified with using both wifi and my network, and checked the stock browser from the phone which works, but no success with Firefox. I uninstalled Firefox, restarted my phone, re-installed, and the same issues are happening. Any idea how to get this back to normal?

Update..when I open firefox from scratch, the main firefox pages on the home page seem to work. But as soon as I try to go anywhere else, IE going to a website in the address bar or even trying to access the defauly bookmark links, it just sits there loading but never brings anything up.
