IPhoto won't join PhotoStream, keeps asking me to log in when I am logged in
I just bought a new MacBook Air (mid 2012 version). I upgraded OS-X and iPhoto with the latest updates. I then tried to set up iPhoto to pick up my existing photostream. I click the Join Photostream buttom then it pops up a message saying I need to be logged into iCloud to continue, opens up iCloud in Settings, where it says that I am logged in. I click continue, it sends me back to iPhoto to click Join Photostream... I am stuck in an endless loop.
I previously set up iCloud on my old PC (running Vista... I know -- why do you think I bought the Air?) and on my iPhone 4S. It's working fine, although it might be relevant that when I log into iCloud on the web, Photostream doesn't show up there. (Everything else I have included in iCloud does show up).
On my phone, photos are being transfereed from Camera Roll to PhotoStream, and they are appearing on my old PC. I just can't see them on my new MacBook Air.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I seem to have fixed this. Here's what I did:
Close iPhoto
Open iCloud in System Preferences and uncheck all items that are syncing. (I opted to "delete on my Mac" but I don't know if this made a critical difference.)
Sign out of iCloud
Restart your Mac
Once up again, open System Preferences and log in to iCloud
Recheck the items you want synched
Open iPhoto and click Join Photostream (I no longer received the prompt to sign into iCloud at this point)
Click on PhotoStream under Web on the left navigation -- my photos started appearing straight away.
Hope this helps anyone else with this problem.

Can you confirm that you have an Officejet 8500a or Officejet 8500? On the 8500a model, you can set the networks proxy address and port setting from the front panel of the printer (setup>Webservices setup>proxy). If you are unsure what your proxy settings are you'll need to contact your network admin. If your network uses a proxy users name and password for all devices, you need to enter this information along with the proxy address and port in the printers embedded web server. Type the products IP address into an internet brownser window (printer must be connected to the same network as PC). Select the network tab, and than look for the proxy settings option. Enter in the information and click apply. Once the networks proxy information has been correctly inputed into the embedded web server, try printing again. If unsuccessfully, you might try reinstalling the printer software after uninstalling it. Hope this helps!

iPhoto won't open and is asking me to upgrade Aperture (for $80). I have never purchased or used Aperture. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can get past this so that I can just use iPhoto?

I am not able to connect to my Wifi. It keeps asking for a password and when i enter the password it either says Unable To Connect or Incorrect Password.
This occurred only after installing a new Wifi router from Qtel (service provider). any assisyance is greatly appreciated.You should call Qtel technical support and ask for help.
Where did you get the password that you are trying? What does it look like? (Length, type of characters)

iPhoto won't open due to the not being updated but when I check to upgrade to iPhoto 11 it tells me it is installed. The photos in the library were modified using 9.1.5 and the iPhoto is said to be 7.1.5 (iPhoto 8). Any ideas?
How do you know the library was modified with iPhoto 9 (11)? If you've never had iPhoto 9 on your Mac it could'nt have. It sounds like a damaged library. Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Meaning enter your username and password?
Are you signed in - Settings>Store>Sign In? Maybe try in the App Store in the bottom left corner - you can access your ID in the featured tab of the App Store - check there.
If you are signed in correctly - try signing out and then sign in again in order to refresh the account information.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in. Then try to redeem the card again. -
since this afternoon i can't use any of my apps on my iPhone it keeps asking me to log onto iTunes so i log on to iTunes and it just sends me straight back to log onto iTunes so tried to log onto iTunes on my mac and i have error code -50 anyone else had this issue

Hi all - since updating to I0S6 my wi-fi won't stay connected and it keeps asking me for my apple ID which I put in but it keeps coming up with wrong!!!! Please help
If you have more then one Apple ID you may need to log out on everything and start over. Be careful, using more then one ID can really get you into trouble if you don't keep track of them.
The only other things are these. You could be typing it in wrong. (I do this all the time.) Slow down with the fingers, and make sure the screen is clean. Or, your internet connection is messing up causing it to lose connection before it logs on.
I had a friend that tried to type her password in, and she kept typing it wrong. She finally got it right three days later she told me. -
IPhoto won't open and keeps giving me an error message.

My iPhoto won't open on my Macbook Pro.
All my software is up to date (OS X Yosemite 10.10.2) and there are no programme updates in my App Store.
I have deleted and reinstalled iPhoto, switched my Mac off and nothing helps.
In a similar thread people said to move iPhotoLock.data to my Desktop but that didn't work either.
Any help would be really appreciated!Thanks

Why does my iPad keep asking me to allow cookies when it already does?
Since the weekend my iPad keeps asking for my id and password. When I enter it, it keeps saying I have to allow cookies before I can update anything or use iCloud, the cookies are enabled but it still won't work.
Please can anyone help?
Frustrating.Hey there Stirrups,
It sounds like you are unable to sign into your iCloud account successfully due to this message that you need to accept cookies but you have that set correctly in Settings. I recommend starting by signing out of your iCloud account in Settings > iCloud. Then closing all the running apps on your iPad:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?
