Iphotos willnot synch to Ipad

Please someone help ---- Initially photos synched beautifully between IPhotos and IPad but now I am getting this --- **Photos could not be synched - the required file could not be found.**
What does this mean and what must I do - kinda desperate as everyone says where are photos? on Ipad that used to be there

You either need to share the iPhoto library with both computer login accounts, transfer the photos from her iPhoto library to your iPhoto library under your computer login account, or try transferring photos only from iPhoto under her computer login account - transferring photos from iPhoto under the Photos tab will be the only thing selected under the various tabs for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes under her computer login account. I don't believe the latter will work.

HT4236 Sync some iPhoto Events to my iPad or iPod

I'm using itunes 11.0.1 and iPhoto 9.2. When i specify to synch a couple of iPhoto events to my ipad or iPod, itunes does sync only some of this events to my mobile device. I already deleted the ipod photo chache, but the results are unfortunatly the same. What goes wrong with my iTunes synchronisation? The SW Version on my ipad 3 is latest Release.

Thanks Ralph. The iTunes version is 11.1.5. There was a facility where you could select various "Events" from a table in iPhoto and sync just them to your iPad. Finding that function is my current problem

Hi Trust you now know why - iPhoto being discontinued as in "Not supported" from next month I believe.
I did purchase it again for my iPad mini whilst travelling without my MacBook Pro but now io7 and iOS 8 photos do what they do not sure iPhotos on iPad as well necessary...

But where are you seeing evidence of that? Explain what makes you think that they are being downloaded from iCloud? Do you see a cloud icon next to the music and movies on the iPad? That simply means that they are available in iCloud for you to download without having to go to the purchased tabs of the stores on your device if you want to download them again.
You can turn that off in Settings>iTunes and App Store>Show All>Videos>Off and Music>Off.

How to share an iPhoto library with an iPad?

Hi everyone. Just wondering how do you share an iPhoto library with an ipad over a network? I want to use my ipad to browse photos when I'm at home over my network since I can't fit all my photos onto my ipad. I can't seem to figure it out. Help is appreciated!

You can not - they have nothing in common except the name - you can share photos using PhotoStream - you can not sare an iPhoto library

Open Keychain Access in Utilities, use Keychain First Aid under the Keychain Menu item, then either check the Password under that item, change it, or delete it and start over. See if there are duplicates, should be one for Incoming & one for Outgoing.

What a pain...you must go through all that to remove it?! So many unessary steps!
I also find that when I sync up a new photo folder to replace the old set that I previously wiped out and replaced it staggers afew pictures from before in with the new and will not show all of the new....so frustrating!!! I even close out iPhoto and go into the photo album and all the photos that synced up which are the ones I do want are all there....it's so different than what I see the album in iPhoto. Keynote app PDF docs loaded in iTunes library not synching to ipad

I've downloaded the Keynote apps, accessed the iTunes library => Apps => Keynote => added the PDF files I wanted
They are visible in the iTunes library on my computer. Now synching my ipad to the computer, open Keynote apps, selected + copy from iTunes and I can see the list of all the PDF docs I have added but there are in grey shade and cannot click on them to add them to my ipad.

Sounds like you just updated your IOS. Check the iTunes settings and confirm that nothing was changed:

iPhoto does not duplicate all photos on the iPad, it just shows them in one place.

Ways to import photos
All of the photos and video clips in the Photos app on your device automatically appear in iPhoto. You can also import photos into iPhoto from other devices and computers, other apps on the same device, or a digital camera (if you're using iPad).
What iPhoto will duplicate, are photos that you edit, or tag, or use in journals. The edited versions will appear in a separate "Edited" album, see: What are albums?
To delete edited photos from iPhoto, revert them to "Original", then you can delete them.
The quickest way to free all space iPhoto is using, would be to uninstall iPhoto and then to reinstall.
You will need to share all photos that you want to keep to the Camera Roll.

Iphoto album sync to ipad not easy

I've got an ipad and lots of albums in iPhoto. I have several albums set to sync to ipad and iphones, but sometimes it recognizes when I've added photos and sometiems not. I've shut iphoto and itunes, unplugged ipad, etc.
What is the voodoo to get the ipad to recognize that I've added a few new photos to an album that is checkmarked to sync?? I don't see a pattern. I've unchecked.rechecked, hit "apply" and "sync" several times...
In Itunes there is a little gray number next to the checked album, but it does not show correct number of pics, almost like iPhoto and iTunes are not communicating.

You make a interesting observation. I've never had a photo added to an album in iPhoto on my Mac fail to make into the correct album on my iPad during a sync. After adding the photo, I quit iPhoto. Then start iTunes on my computer.
After iTunes has started I connect my iPad and just click on Sync.
