IPM11g & ODC configuration , Input Agent

Hi All,
I have installed IPM11g & ODC on my machine.
I am committing one tiff image from ODC through "Commit Text File" commit driver .
at IPM11g end i have set one Input Agent & set the Input Directory file path in Enterprise Manager.
After committing from ODC, files are going into Input Directory but they are not moving into IPM.
& files are not moving even in following directory structure :
Input
- Errors
– Failed
(which is built in Input Directory path after we enable Input Agent .)
In IPM logs also there are no errors.
please help me in this issue if any one has some idea !

Oracle Document Capture 10gR3 Commit Drivers
for Oracle Imaging and Process Management 11gR1.
Specify the IPM commit driver in the commit profile. Click Configure --> Filer file Commit --> Specify the path and metadata fields on the filer commit tab and test a commit again to IPM. Make sure your IPM filer application is configured to recieve each of the metadata fields that you are passing from ODC.

Configuring Input Agent directory on a machine different from the UCM one

I have configured InputAgent (Oracle Imaging and Process Management) to pick work from
/IPM/Input/<XYZ dir> on ABC MACHINE (where UCM and weblogic is installed)
and in my input definition i have an input mask (abc.txt) configured to read files from /<xyz location> (filepath on the same machine)
How do i configure it to pick up files from a filepath on a different machine/IP in the same network.

Failed to process the file in Input agent giving repository error

Hi All,
I have configured input agent on my machine and when I try to process the file, that file goes into STAGE folder and Error folder by giving the repository error.

What is the difference between uploading the document through "*An input*" (which that maps an input file to an application when documents are uploaded in the background by the Input Agent.) and through "*Upload Document*".

Input Agent Sample File and mappings

Dears
I'm working on a project where I need Documents exported from OFR to be imported to IPM. I'm defining an input agent to monitor the input directory where exported files from OFR are located. I did all the configurations needed in EM,defined the agent in IPM, however, the input agent is not working.
I guess the problem is with the input agent definition, esp the sample file. I'm finding difficulty in understanding the "Sample File" (what does it represent, where shall it be located, to where the "file path" in it should be indicating).

For the sample file itself, it defines the format in which the input file would be setup for the input agent to import documents into IPM.
For the path of where the input file is present, log in to the em console and when you open the IPM managed M-beans you would have the path defined for the input file.
Check this out and you would be in a good position to understand input agents.

Perhaps your BI system is dual stack, or even java only?
In that case you should install the sapccmsr agent (as well).

Limit on the number of characters of the Input file of Input Agent

I am working on the Input Agent of one of my IPM applicaton. I just want to know what would be the limit on the number of characters in the input file of input agent. That means that what should be the total count limit of the characters of the Input file of the Input Agent, so that IPM Efficiently process the Input file.

I don't quite understand what your suggestion was and before I try to figure it out and play around with numbers, I thought I should clarify further. When i wrote I want to paste the content into the cell and have it limited to 100 characters I was mis-spoken. I actually have all the content already in the columns in a spreadsheet and would now like to just limit some of the columns to hold only 100 characters in a cell so that when its a CSV file it will be accepted to the program I'm trying to upload it to.
SO does that change the way you can answer my question?
Is there a way to just limit the content currently in a spreadsheet to 100 characters per cell?

Input agent date parsing error

I am using input agent which points to documents which are exported from IPM 10g.in IPM 11g when i pass sample file for that documents which contain 18 fields one of which is date field.so when i pass input file through input agent which contain date value then i get date parsing error .

Input agent directory not found

Hi All,
I h've installed Oracle I/PM 11g.After creating domain, i'm unable to find out input agent directory
i.e. C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\base_domain\IPM\inputagent

Configuring ODI: Agent

Hi,
I have managed to configure Master repository, Topology and have set up the Work Repository. However when I click Work Repository it give me the following error:
Unable to connect to remote repository (using Local Agent as I have not yet configured Agent).
Please note when I press the test connection, it says succeeded. Is this an issue?

Something is not right and it may be down to the SQL server side, the SQL user that you are using is it definitely the db_owner, also if you go in sql server management studio, open up the work repository database and then the tables, do they all have dbo. in front the table names?

I've installed oracle 10g in a Windows 2000 SP4 and I want to monitor database using SNMP.
I've already installed Windows SNMP agent but I haven't any idea how to configure Oracle in order to grant SNMP monitoring.
What should I do?
Is Oracle database ready to be monitored via SNMP by default?

I've already installed Windows SNMP agent, configured and testedwith disk space checkings, but it doesn't work fine with Oracle.
I launched Oracle Universal Installer and I checked Installed Products, but I haven't found how to install SNMP agents for oracle.
How can I add Oracle Peer Master Agent and Encapsulator to my oracle installation?

1. After saving service ticket with responsible organisation(BP) and responsible person(employee), i go to agent inbox and forward same ticket to other resp emp. This should not change resp org.

According to me you can acheive your requirement in two ways (at least):
1) Modification of method IF_ICCMP_CUCOPROCESS~SET_RESPONSIBLE_FOR_ONEORDER from class CL_ICCMP_CUCOPROCESS_IMPL (check the comments at the beginning of the coding), to implement your own logic.
2) Use customer-specific partner functions to handle responsible employee and/or responsible group... in that case the standard won't change anything because it won't find any employee responsible ;o)

Wrap-up time configuration per agent basis (in UCCX)

There are two agents (X & Y) who are part of the same CSQ, however both agents want to have different Inbound wrap-up time.
What I understand in UCCX is, that we configure wrap-up time in CSQ (unlike agent desk settings in UCCE). If its a CSQ based, this setting gets applied to all the agents whoever is part of the same CSQ. I didnt find any such wrap-up time option which can be configured at the agent level and doesnt impact whole CSQ. Is there any solution to the problem stated above?

You can do this using a workflow.
Set your CSQ wrap time to a high value, for example 600 secs.
Create 2 workflows - one for experts and one for your novices.
In your expert workflow, add a timer action to the work event in the voice contact workflow. Set this timer to the wrap up time required for experts, and add an action there to make the agent go ready (if they are not already ready).
In your novice workflow, do the same as above but give set this timer to the value required for novices.
I've tested this out on v8.5 and it seems to work OK.
