IPMA error on CUCM v9.1

Dear all,
I tried to set up a IPMA on a CUCM v9.1 but I get errors.
I has 1 publisher and subscriber 2.
I activated IPMA just on the subscriber 1, but on the phone I can not access the service. all phones has registered on subscriber1.
In a browser I enter the following url: https://IP_CUCM_SUB1:8443/ma/servlet/MAService?cmd=doPhoneService&Name=SEPMACADDRESS
I have the following error:
HTTP Status 503 - Servlet org.apache.jsp.phone.jsperrorpage_jsp is currently unavailable
type: Status report
message: Servlet org.apache.jsp.phone.jsperrorpage_jsp is currently unavailable
description: The requested service is not currently available.
On my phone I can not start the IPMA Service. (but I see the IPMA service in the list of Service)
I have not the IPMA banner on the phone screen.

I have 404 error but it's normal, because IPMA service is just on SUB1.
I restarted the CTI and IPMA services on my subscriber and it doesn't work.
I tried to activate the IPMA service throughout the cluster, but the problem is the same.

I test IPMA on CUCM v8.6 and all are working fine. I make the same config.

Can you also check the LRO settings?   Although it's not required in your scenerio to disable LRO the documentation does mention you could disable it if you are experiencing tpc traffic problems..

    i have a CCM 9 with autoregister enabled, trying to register a CIPC said "register rejected: security error"
    I have other CIPC and runs fine, but in one is failing, even with a manual registering said the same message.

    I was having the same error.
    CUCM, CAPF and CTL service was running which i turned off. After deleting the Phones when i tried to re-register the phones they started to give me this error. "Registeration Rejected : Security Error" . I also switched the tftp from Publisher to a subscriber server.
    Solution : I manually added each phone to the system since they were few phones. You can Use BAT to add the phones if you too many phone having the same problem.

  • CUCM & CUP 9.1 subscriber cluster

    Dear
    I am trying to install  CUP subscriber which is in different sub cluster than the publisher , I am not able to add the subscriber I get the error attached I have enabled access-list as a IP between the servers, but still it is prompting me with the same error,
    Also I am getting the error on CUCM subscriber as per the attached.

  • Upgrade CUPS from 8.5 to 9.0 ? Is it possible ?

    There was something wrong into etc/hosts file.

  • CUPS upgrade from 8.6.4 to 9.1.1

    I have successfully upgraded UCM from 8.6 to 9.1 and am now trying to upgrade CUPS from 8.6.4.10000-28 to 9.1.1.20000-5 (which I guess now makes it IM & P). But during the upgrade on CUPS it is failing with a message in the logs.
    I am running 9.1.1.20000-5 on UCM and am trying to upgrade to that exact build on CUPS.

    I have verified that the active running version of UCM is 9.1.1 and since I am going from 8.6 to 9.1 on CUPS I don’t need a refresh upgrade, but still this is failing. Can anyone help me understand what I am doing wrong?
    Looking at the logs a bit closer, I wonder if this actually indicates that CUPS cannot determine what the Active Version is? There is no data in the active or inaction version lines...Does anyone know if there should be??

    Our problem ended up being that the AXL communication with the CUCM Publisher had been broken. We ended up finding out that the password had been changed. Once we restored AXL connection the upgrade proceeded.

  • User's association broken - Unity

    I have this error in CUCM BE Unity
    "This user's association to the co-resident Cisco Unified Communications Manager user has been broken."
    I Click Here to reassociate the orphaned user... but no user names appear.

    You did not mention in your post if you had CUCM integrated with LDAP - the guide discusses the differences in how users are created and synchronized, including this caveat "
    You must configure User ID and Directory Extension for the user in Cisco Unified Communications Manager before you can configure the end user in Cisco Unity Connection. You cannot create a Cisco Unity Connection user without a corresponding Cisco Unified Communications Manager user. You cannot delete an end user in Cisco Unity Connection Administration, unless you have enabled LDAP synchronization and the Cisco DirSync service deletes the user in Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration after you delete the user in the LDAP directory. If the Cisco DirSync service deletes the user for Cisco Unified Communications Manager, you must manually delete the user in Cisco Unity Connection, as described in the User Moves, Adds, and Changes Guide for Cisco Unity Connection. If you do not delete the user in Cisco Unity Connection Administration, Cisco Unity Connection classifies the user as orphaned." Have you tried recreating the user in CUCM and then reassociating in Unity?

    The problem is because in the redirect header, the comma "," is not a valid parameter so in the alerting name I removed the comma after the surname (i.e. "Elodie, Mary" to "Elodie Mary" and now is working.
    We will change the alerting name by the moment and I will also investigate if there is a parameter to just not divert this name because is not needed this info in forwarded calls.
    Anyway the problem is solved

    I'm not a Cisco employee, so I can't do anything with your backup.!
    You need to take a backup as a precaution (You should have been doing this anyway) Then you need to call Cisco TAC to get the underlying problem fixed. CalManager is a locked-down environment, and only TAC can get the low-level access needed to fix database problems.

  • Softphone Registration Error - Jabber 9.2.5 with CUCM/CUPS 8.6

    All,
    I'm having trouble getting my softphone feature inside Jabber 9.2.5 to work with my CUCM/CUPS 8.6 deployment.  I have the CCMIP profile setup and user associations in place.  The show connection status indicates a status of Not Connected with an error of "Connection error.  Ensure the server information in the Phone Services tab on the Options window is correct.  Contact you system administrator for assistance.   The CCMCIP address is correct. 
    Any ideas?
    I verified the service is running in CUCM.  The Jabber client appears to never have attempted to register to CUCM.  Status of the endpoint in CUCM is unknown, unknown.

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.  You can determine what CUCM server "name" the server is trying to use by doing a TFTP GET of the device config file from a workstation with access to the TFTP server. 
    An example from a windows box is
    tftp -i GET .cnf.xml
    This will pull a copy of the device's config file to the pc.  You can then open it with any text editor and look for the CUCM name.  It is most likely the hostname of the subscriber in question.  If you can't resolve the name by itself (no fqdn) then the reg will fail.  At least it did in my case.
    You can change the server name to IP by browsing to System > Server in CUCM.  Change the device in question name to the correct IP.
    Alternatively you could correct the name resolution issue.

    I researched this earlier in CTSman admin guides, and this error points to CUCM CTI Manager service to be restarted.  I did restart this as well as other services, including CUCM hardware itself and, but in vain.
    Among other things, i followed the CUCM/CTSman guides when bringing CUCM into CTSman to: created an application user account within CUCM and allocate a proper permissions/user groups etc... it was done. 
    Among other things there are other servers like Exchange being synchronized with it ( had problems with it earlier that dealt with certificates, it was corrected.).
    Can anyone help with this issue.

    I did get few MediaReosurceListExhausted events from RTMT alerts but was not paying much attention to them. Location bandwidth settings have been checked and increased a bit for sites which were repeatedly getting these events. I will monitor to see if that reduces these alerts. Could you please advise how I can verify it is hitting the maximum limit?
    I have also raised this with Cisco TAC and some cores were found on the CUC subscriber server. We seemed to have run into a bug according to Cisco TAC as in here https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCug61581/?reffering_site=dumpcr and both CUC servers have been upgraded to 8_6_2_24901_1. It has fixed cores and we are now monitoring the voicemail service for few days to see if it will reoccur.

  • CUCM 8.6 DB commnication error

    Dear al
     i have PUB & SUB  CUCM 8.6 version on UCS plateform due to power failure in data center both the servers got illegally shutdown after restoring the power we restarted both the server after checking the service list  " A Cisco DB[STOPPED]  Component is not running" & while logging through GUI it is prompting DB communication error in PUB but on SUB all the services are in starting state. please advice how to rectify the same.

    Try to restart your A cisco DB service via following CLI :
    utils service start A Cisco DB
    If it is still not starting, most likely, file system/DB has been corrupted due to improper power down of the server. You can try to Use recovery CD and check if that helps, else the last option would be to rebuild and do a DRS restore, from backup before the power down or using "Restore from Sub" option.

    1- I have my desktop Dual core when my ESXi 5.0 installed (60 days trail version)
    2- I am connected through cisco 2950 switch
    3 - vsphere client i am using on my laptop and on my laptop i am using  windows 7 64
    you said that you are using cucm on 2851 router.  I got 2811 router but I dun know about the setup procedure on router if you guide me on that side that will be more help ful

  • Error message when syncing CUACEE 9.0.1.2 with CUCM 9.1.1

    Hi all,
    When I set up the CTI template, I chose owner userid as "none" but then when syncing the AC, I get the message on the sync report for every device of "Error -206 The specified table (owneruserid) is not in the database."
    If I set the template to use a specific owner userid and resync, then it works correctly, but I don't want these CTI ports associated with a userid.
    Is there any reason why this would be happening, as I have been able to do it in the past with "none" on 8.6

    Yes, this is a known defect:  CSCue69477 - CTI Route Port Synch Issue with CUCM.  As per the bug: 
    "This issue will occur if the "SUBSCRIBE Calling Search Space" under Protocol Specific Information in the Template for the CTI Route Ports is configured. To work around this, the "Owner User ID" under Device Information for the Template needs to be configured."

  • CUCM 8.6 - Unified CM Rhosts error message

    Hi Guys,
    My Customer verified in CUCM reports a message error about the Rhosts. "The rhost file on x.x.x.x does not match the publisher". I verified that the restart about the A Cisco DB will be solve the problem. Is correct my analysis? If yes, what is the impact in restart this service? I believe that is more recommendad to do in window maitenance.

    Hi Wilson,
    Your analysis is correct. You should restart the A Cisco DB service in off hours if possible, although i have seen that it does not cause any issues even during production hours most of the times. If the issue persists after restart then you should contact TAC, as in a few cases they require root access to change the rhosts , so that they are the same on all the servers.
