I apologize for my English.
December 13, 2011 I bought Iphone4s in the Apple Store, North MichiganAvenue.
Phone bought Unlocked, which should work with any SIM card. The price was theappropriate phone - 649 dollars. The box had no markings, which can beunderstood phone is locked or not. Receipt sent to the e-mail, and I did notlook right.
If you try to activate the phone in Russia, it turned out that he can only workwith the operator AT&T.
I looked up and saw the receipt that it contains information aboutAT&T.
The seller made a mistake and sold me the phone attached to theAT&Tinstead of unlocked, unlocked for the price.

To update my original post, I discovered that my 4S does work with my JVC car radio when I use the Apple USB cable that I use to sync with my PC. This happens to be the cable that came with my 3GS, but it works fine to sync the 4S. I don't know whether the short non-Apple cable I had in the car is broken, or whether something about the iPhone has changed to make it obsolete. In any case, I'm back in business!

I just bought myself a Iphone 4 and it is not working with any sim card so far. So far I tried everything, even bought sim cards from different countries to see if that would work. I tried the sim cards in others phones and are working correctly in those.
Several websites says that this phone is from the UK?! but even the sim cards from the UK arent working.
I have the legit firmware form iTunes and im up to date. (no jailbreak or what so ever)

No, it is NOT OK to talk about jailbreaking either.
As for why it is criminal, ONLY the carrier has the legal right to authorize unlocking it. In some countries (as it was in the US until recently and may be again soon) it is legal for an individual phone owner to unlock thier phone, it is not legal for a 3rd party to do so. Also, those services are not just "unlocking" the phone, they are gaining unauthorized access to a commercial database. That is a crime in almost every civilized country.

Don't waste your time. As I've already provided, unless you are a Verizon customer, they WILL NOT unlock the sim slot.
Return the phone for a refund, as it is useless to you.

E66 doesn't work with my sim

when i have my sim in nokia e66 i'm not able to make a call and to receive a call or sms.when i put another sim it works fine and my works fine in an onther mobile.can anyone know what might the problem be?

what is the other phone model u are testing ur sim in?
what u can try to do on the E66, change the network mode to GSM only
steps to do it: Menu > Tools > Settings > Phone > Network > Network Mode > GSM
if u have no issues with the phone in GSM mode, u will probably have to speak to ur network provider about updating that sim card

If i buy an iPhone 4s in the uk, and send it abroad as a gift, will it still work with any sim card or will it need unlocking?

I basically want to buy an iphone as a gift, but i'm unsure if it will need extra unlocking in another country or will i be able to use it srtaight away if i have a sim card

If you buy an unlocked iPhone from Apple, it will remain unlocked.
Apple is the only source for unlocked phones in the UK. Be warned, the phones sold at Carphone Warehouse are NOT unlocked. They will ONLY activate with a UK carrier and will lock to the first carrier used.

Quick time pluging doesn't work with any browsers

Quick time works if I call the execution using the menu.
BUT
If I try to watch any apple video tutorial I get "QuickTime required. Free download".
I guess the plugin is not installed.
If I try to reinstall quick time the installation progrma say me that it cannot be installed on my HD.
Nothing happened removing all quick time folders and files and reinstalling them.

I am not using my SL comp at the moment. However, under Tiger, the QT plugins are located in:
Machintosh HD>Library>Quicktime
Machintosh HD>Library>Internet Plug-in>QuickTime Plugin.webplugin is the only QT plug-in.

Where did you buy it? Look at your receipt. You can not tell the lock status of an iPhone based on the model number.
If you bought it second hand, contact AppleCare and give them the serial number. They may be able to tell you if it's locked and to what carrier.

Remote sync well with iPad .. Impressive
However, it doesn't work with any hyperlinks!
It's simply an image and swiping the pages ... Ignoring all hyperlinks ... It does work with media but u would have to put them in sequence in your slides. If you work with many hyperlinks within a slide, you can't get any to work with the remote!
Quite disappointed that Apple actually charges for an app so simple with no value added services!
There are many free apps doing the same simple tasks.

My iPhone 4 doesn't work with any of the apps apart from weather app when I use public wifi, such as iCloud. The sign still shows that I am connected with wifi hotspot even when the signal is the strongest.
I have tried resting my iPhone 4. But doesn't work. But other wifi such as in my home or at uni which require login work well with the device. I am not sure what seems to be the problem.

Apple doesnt like generic network names link Linksys, or Belkin - when the network is a generic name there is no way to identify your "linksys" vs my "linksys" so it has trouble connecting and remembering these networks.

Do not worry about it.
Time Machine needs that your external drive is formatted in HFS+, or better known as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". This filesystem is used by Apple on Macs and Windows cannot read or write drives formatted with this filesystem, being this the reason why all your devices do not read the external drive except your Mac.
You can only use your external drive to make Time Machine drives. If you store anything different, you may damage the Time Machine structure, so it is better not to use it as a drive to store other data. Instead, get another external drive to do it or create a second partition on the external drive formatted in FAT32 by using Disk Utility > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU3.html FAT32 can be read by Windows PCs

ID on the Mac can produce reports that may (or may not) prove helpful in diagnosing the problem. I suspect this is something not directly related to InDesign, and maybe not to any of the Adobe apps directly since you seem to be having a problem in more than one. That often inidcates a problem at the system level.
Nevertheless, it won't hurt to try to gather the reports. You'll find driections for how to generate them, and to post them on Pastebin.com (then put a link to them here) so we can see what's going on at Adobe Forums: InDesign CS5.5 Not Responding

Only my Mail Inbox doesn't work with iOS5. Sent, Bulk, Trash, and Draft works fine. I don't receive new emails, yet if I go to see my mail via Safari/Yahoo/Mail all the new emails are there. So it is clearly an iOS5 issue. I did a hard restart holding the On/Off and Home key, I delete the account and reinstalled, i disenabled iCloud and nothing seems to work. All seems okay with host, user name and password. Server port is fine, though my 3G model has has multiple servers and the Wi-Fi version only has one. I even brought it to an Apple store while traveling in The Netherlands. They had no other suggestions.
