hi everyone,
i was about to enter my serial number for replacement, but than it said "this number have already participated..." - but this is impossible since i hold it in my hand right now, so no replacement happend and it was the first time i've used this page.
can someone help me please? thank you very much

Your only option at this point is to give Apple Support a call directly and explain to them what is happening.

I bought an ipod nano 1st gen from the us. Now i shifted to india. I found out that apple is replacing the ipod 1st gen. So i clicked on the link for web order and it didnt list india in it. So can i still exchange it. If i can than how?

Serial number already used

I purchased Production Premium CS6 MAC UE student version for the MAC. I had Illustrator only before. I went to the Adobe section for students and entered the product code which in turn generated a serial number. I then proceeded to install the package and entered the serial number when prompted during the installation. The installation did not complete successfully. Now when I try to re-install, it says that the serial number has already been used. How do i reset this and successfully install on the MAC?

You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

Good receipt with serial number already on stock W

dear all,
I have this issue:
Company "A" sent a material (with serial number) to another company "B" in SAP (Intercompany flow) with customer consignment stock (W).
Company B has to post the good receipt for that material but the system shows the error message that the serial number can't be used.
My question is:
is it possible to post the good receipt for a serial number already used in another plant, special stock W?

Remember: You will receive a replacement unit approximately 6 weeks after Apple gets your current iPod nano

Yes. They'll still replace your iPod. Several users have indicated that they have returned damaged iPods and were still given a replacement iPod.

8GB. Nice little unit when used by itself. BUT don't even think about connecting to any docks or other third party interfaces 'cause IT AIN"T GONNA WORK RIGHT!
Both of my Pioneer car stereos have the same problem with both of my 6th generation iPod Nanos:
The first time you connect the iPod, the radio recognizes the it and works. BUT THE NEXT TIME YOU TURN THE RADIO ON THE DISPLAY FREEZES. The only way to get it working is to disconnect the dock connector from the iPod and reconnect it. THIS ***** AND IS NOT THE WAY THESE UNITS BEHAVED WITH MY 1ST GENERATION NANO. Both of my new 6th generation ipods have been restored (several times) and have the latest firmware which, as of this writing is 1.2 and still the problem persists.
My two Pioneer car stereos that don't work right with the iPod Nano 6th generation:
Pioneer DEH-P4900iB
CD-i200 iPod cable for above
Scion XB iPod enabled head unit T1808
I've made an AppleCare adviser aware of the problem but I doubt that this information will ever make it to engineering so I don't have much hope that this will ever be fixed.
I would suggest that all 6th generation Nano users check it's compatibility with any third party interfaces they have and report their findings on this discussion board. Perhaps we can get Apple to FIX THIS SERIOUS PROBLEM.

Forbid serial number being used in 101 after already been used in 241

Hello everybody, I get a problem about serial number and goods movement.
In our SAP system, once a serial number is used for goods issue for asset with movement type 241, it can still be used for goods receipt with movement type 101. The reason is that after 241 transaction, the system status of the serial number is AVLB ,and in the configuration of AVLB, goods receipt is allowed.
To prohibit the usage in 101 transaction, I can change the configuration of system status so that goods receipt for serial number with status AVLB is forbidden, but the risk of changing system status is still uncertain, for example whether AVLB is still used else where is unknown for me.
My question is that is there any other way to make the serial number cannu2019t be used in 101 transaction once it has already been used in 241 transaction? Is user status feasible? If yes, how can I proceed it. If not, any other solution?

Hello! Not a problem, because you will get a Ipod Nano 1st generation as a replacement, not a new / latest generation.

I returned my 1st Generation iPod to apple in December and it was collected from my home address by UPS. I am English but live in France. I had an email last week saying that it had been repaired and shipped. They provided me with a shipping tracking reference which when you click on the link, it says invalid web address.
They stated a 2 day delivery which has long since passed and I have no product and no tracking facility.
The email came from a 'no reply at Apple' address and I have no way of finding out who to contact and where. I believe it was shipped to Holland for repair.
Does anybody know of an easy way to contact apple because I am about to blow my top trying to sort this out.
When you go on the status of repair page it states shipped and if I try to get on line assistance it says the 90 day period has expired!!! That is for the replacement serial number.
Anyone have any ideas?

Apple uses the Repair ID as a refference number for UPS shipping. Go to the UPS site and track by refference number sighting your repair ID. I've heard instances where Apple are missing a number in the tracking info they send out to customers. Hope this helps.

IPod (1st gen) tries to reset but no battery!

I have an iPod 1st Gen, and i wanted to reset it, but now everytime i turn it on it's resetting (apple logo and spinning circle) but then the battery is empty and its recharging to 1/4 and then tries to reset again. This loops forever it doesn't finish. I can't do anything because it's just resetting and then the battery is empty again and then it's gonna recharge for a while and then tries it all again, i really need help because this is happening for 2 weeks now i don't know what to do. IPod 1st Gen (Scroll wheel) not recognized by iTunes

iPod 1st Gen (with scroll wheel) will not connect to iTunes 12.1 on MacBookPro. Charging when I plug it in, want to add music to it, but iTunes will not recognize it. Anyone have any suggestions or does anyone know if this iPod is no longer supported by iTunes?

IPod 1st Gen Connection?

So recently I got a iPod 1st Gen (w/ Scroll Wheel) thats 5GB. And I also got a Firewire Card for my PC. My iPod is already Windows Formatted. Anyway I'm trying to sync music to it on my PC. But its not getting recognized in Windows Explorer (not on any drive in My Computer). Whenever I connect it, it says "Ok to Disconnect" with the check and it recharges. It won't show up on my computer. Can anyone help? And yes I've already read this article entitled "iPod missing in "My Computer" or in iTunes for Windows."

It is probably broken. You can try restoring it using Recovery Mode, but if that fails its time for a new phone. After all, it is 4 generations out of date. See: Recovery Mode
