Ipod 2g wont download apps

Well, ive been in a bit of a tough situation lately, i have an ipod touch, 2g, it will not download apps, latest firmware, everything, hard reset, same thing, restore to factory defaults, twice, same thing, now heres the strange part, on my OTHER 2g ipod touch, i did a restore then used a backup from the ipod i mentioned above, its having the SAME PROBLEM, not really sure what to do now, thanks for any help that is offered!

i have yet to try syncing apps to the ipod, ill try it right now, but what happens (if i can even get to the app store, half the time it crashes) is ill search for the app, go to the app, hit where it says free>install app,tap install app, it then freezes, and will do absolutely nothing until i hit the home button, then it will act like its downloading something, a white app box will pop up with waiting underneath, which will not disappear until i do a reset.

Whenever I try to download a game on my ipod touch (its uploaded to the newest version) the icon pops up and the loading bar is on the icon but it never fills up and after a couple seconds it just disappears! I've already turned it off and back on to see if that would work and it didn't! I deleted a lot of pictures and videos and other apps and I have a ton of open memory, but I can't figure out whats wrong! I had this issue before and it was related to security restrictions set on the touch itself
On the touch itself go to: Settings->General->Restrictions
If there is a restrict for Installing Apps the Apps page will be greyed out in itunes

IIIaass it wasn set up with a credit card no but she's had it for almost a year and prob downloaded every app an 11yr old would want but just recently it says itunes terms and conditions have changed before you ....................false alarm just got her to show me and all she had to do was select agree to the new terms and conditions said she had read about paying and payment and she was just too over caution the wee pet so happy now there she is downloading away thanks so much for all the help

Go to Settings - General - Usage and see which apps are taking up a lot of space.
In my experience, if you haven't cleaned out your Messages that is where a lot of space is consumed.

There seems to be a common problem about some people not being able to download the Mavericks install from App Store but only if they have OS X 10.6.8 - seems to be a problem with the Apple servers. So you might wait a few days and see if things get better.
Is it any app you try (free and not-free) to download?
The fact that you can download apps you already have purchased means that your account (login and password) are being accepted by the app store.
Do you have a credit card setup defined on your app store account? Maybe it has expired and you need to update the cc info - you can double check if you click on the "View My Account" in the "Store" menu App Store (you have to be logged in). Then click on the "Edit" keyword after the "Payment Type" filed

IPod touch wont update apps but it will install new ones?

My iPod touch 4th with ios 6.1.6 wont update apps, but i can install a new one.
I go to the app store, updates, they show up i can hit update all or do them separately doesn't matter.
Click on update it will switch to installing and ask for my password. Enter it and the installing will change back to update and do nothing.
I have 47GB of space and no more later versions of ios to upgrade to. This one particular app upgrade only requires ios 4. something.
With all this i am still able to install a new app and make purchases.
Any Advise

Go to the App Store and look at the requirements for the update. The update may require iOS 7 or higher. Sometimes updates get coded incorrectly and thus the iPod says an update is applicable when it really is not.

Lumia 520 wont download apps

Just got a Lumia 520 yesterday and have spent 24 hours unsuccessfully trying to download apps from the store, always gettingthe message that "can't connect to Store at the moment - check data connection or try later"
Phone is connecting to internet and email both on wifi and 3G, so working OK - anyone else had this problem?

How are you downloading the apps? I presume you are logged into your app world. Try logging out and re-boot and then log in again and try to download the apps.

FAPMAN wont download Apps

Hey guys,
I recently had to remove CSSU as i had hildon modified desktop and it caused a few issues. I used xterm remove command and now when I use FAPMAN to download Apps the Log tells me "hmmm auto remove destroyed something which shouldnt really happen. Plese file a bug report against App.
There are packages that have unmet dependencies.
E: Internal Error. AutoRemover broke stuff.
What do I need to do to get FAPMAN working, i can still install Apps using HAM but it is SO slow

Think that this should update any packages/software that need it and fix any broken packages:

Hey I just put some apps onto my iPod touch from the app store on my touch, and when I try to play them it loads up what looks like the first page of the app, then just jumps back to my home page. What do I do?

1. Try a Reset, hold both buttons down for about ten seconds, ignore the "Slide to turn off" and only let go when the Apple logo pops up in the middle of the screen. Wait a minute or two and your Touch will restart.
Try the App.
2. Remove the App by unchecking, resynch. Then reinstall.
Try App.
3. As 2 but redownload the App from Appstore.
Try App again.
Come back if no go.
