IPod and iMac not speaking
When I link up my iPod nano (2nd generation) to my computer, it doesn't appear in iTunes under Devices. Tried on both iMac and MacBook. iPod shows it's charging, so something is getting through, but I need to download new music. Help!!
First comes first, please understand this ... MP3, ACC are compressed music files which mean they are far from the Audiophile level, unless using at least Lossless format or even better AIFF. So if you are going to keep the music files with MP3 and ACC formats, please do not spend much money on a good audio system. A crap music, its sound quality will only showed more badly on a good HiFi System.
My recommendations
1. Always go to connect the iPod via dock instead of earphone jack
2. For cheaper way, it is better to spend money on iPod speaker dock system e.g. B&W instead of connecting with a HiFi system

3. It is better to play iPod to an external speakers via wire instead of wireless (airport express)
4. If you are seriously enough, and the files are using lossless format then you can think of the following connection ...
iPod (dock) -> Wadia 170i (http://www.wadia.com/products/transports/170i/) digital -> DAC -> Amp -> Speakers
Ok let answer your questions :-
1. iPod shall be good enough to drive the speakers via amp, even your old amp. Make sure you connect it with the right input of the amp e.g. CD, Audio in or Tuner. Make sure you do not have the sound check on.
2. You can connect your iMac in 2 ways, wire and wireless
For wire, connect an audio cable between the earphones jack on the back of your iMac to the CD/Turner/Audio in of the amp
For wireless, you can use the airport express to connect between your iMac and the amp

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Am having all kinds of trouble enabling Home Sharing on Apple TV 3. Had been working previously, but now I am unable to share files between TV, Ipods and iMac. I have tried restarting all hardware, systems and connections. I recently upgraded modem, would this have an effect on connectivity?
U may need to check the settings on ur PC or Mac.

Nothing you can do but physically look for it. If it's offline it can't be tracked.

I just purchased harry potter and the deathly hallows digital copy but i just synced my ipod and its not there. i went back to get the copy again and its says the code can only be used once. I dont have the movie and now i cant get it at all. i paid for it when i bought the movie but now i dont own it at all. i feel cheated, somebody please help!

Hi.. I received my Iphone today. It has tiny scratches at the corners. ALSO, i cannot hear anything, have to use headphone. Siri works slow and does not speaks!! Anyone with same problems? What can i do now?

The songs will play in my itunes library but they won't transfer onto my ipod correctly. For some of the congs, I just have to locate the file and readd the song to itunes, but a lot of the songs, I don't know what the problem is.
This might sound weird, but here's an idea which worked for me re music that was newly added to itunes and showed up in my ipod but wouldn't play - I simply played the tracks in itunes first, just a second of time or so will do it, not the whole track, then connect the ipod and sync again and this time they played - hope this helps.

I had an itunes account for my classic and a few months ago wanted to add my daughters ipod to it. it told me when i pluged hers in 2 ipods could not use the same account and asked me if i wanted it to link her ipod and delete the current libary. like a fool i said yes. now i have a party comming up and cant plug my classic in without it saying if i sync it will wipe my 6000 songs and leave me with the new blank itunes that i have just set up.
what i want to do is add my 6000 songs to a new apple id libary/itunes without it wiping all my songs. does anyone know how to do this.

You can sync as many ipods/iphones/ipads as you like to one one library. -

IPod and iTunes not syncing properly
When I swipe a song to the right on my iPod and tap delete, a cloud appears with a down arrow. The song never leaves my iPod and I am still able to play it with the cloud/arrow showing. The cloud symbol remains after syncing and the song will still play. In fact the cloud symbol never goes away until I tap it. If I tap the cloud I get the circle/square symbol indicating it has been downloaded/added to my iPod. Conversely, when I drag music on iTunes to my iPod I see the green plus sign but the song does not appear on my iPod after syncing nor on iTunes. I also have unchecked music on iTunes listed for my iPod and they still don't go away after syncing.

iTunes 11.1.3 (8)As a last ditch attempt I unchecked all the albums, artists and manually loaded songs on my iPod via iTunes and synced my iPod. After syncing there were 3 songs left on my iPod which I was able to delete in the normal fashion (sliding left and touching the red "Delete" prompt). I synced my iPod again. Now iPod was empty. I then loaded the songs I wanted by clicking and dragging the albums I wanted to my iPod via iTunes. I synced again and now my iPod has the songs that I currently want on it.

It might be worth checking if your mobile device service is running. I had a similar problem to this and found out my mobile device service had not started properly. I found the following apple link http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1567 for restarting the service useful and my problem now seems to have disappeared.

Hi, my iPod touch used iOS 6.1.5 and recently, when I add new songs to the iPod and sync with iTunes, the album covers are no longer that of the songs added. They somehow end up being all mixed up. I've tried deleting and re adding the songs but though they are correct on iTunes, they are extremely incorrect on the iPod.
Is there anyway beside restoring the iPod that I can have this corrected. I've got a total of almost 800 songs and I'm looking for a simple solution if one is available.

I would like to permanently block someone from messages
