help me please!
when i turn on my ipod shows only Apple icon and continuous loading...after 2mins it shut downs and doest it again.. i tried restore but it always turns off.
T_T what should i do?

This happened to me too, except on firmware version 3.1.2. I had to restore it:
1. Ensure iPod is turned off and unplugged
2. Open iTunes on computer
3. Hold down home button on iPod, and plug into computer without letting go of home button
4. iTunes should detect an iPod in recovery mode and prompt you to run a restore

I lost all my bought music when my iPod broke

My iPod broke, and when I connected it to the computer, it said it had gone into 'recovery mode' and that I had to restore it to get it back to normal. This means losing all the music that was on my iPod. The problem is that I had bought songs from the iTunes store while on my iPod, and these had not been synced onto my computer. I had loads of songs and TV programmes. Is there any way to get these back? I still have all the e-mails from apple that I got after I bought them. Please help me, I really don't know what to do!

What is your malfunction? If you state the problem someone may have an answer on have to correct it. Note: the warranty covers defective craftsmanship with your iPod, not miss use, example-- dropping your iPod and cracking the screen, generally not covered, unless you purchased Apple Care. Your mother board has a melt down and fails within 1 year, most likely covered. (This is only an example Apple has the final say what is or is not covered, only using this to make a point). Yea just like the topic says, my ipod's screen broke but the harddrive is still good and i have another ipod video 30 GB, is it possible for me to transfer the old ipod's files into the new ipod? Have you failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer?

About a month ago, my old computer broke that contained all of my music and video's. I recently purchased a new computer and am trying to get all of my music and video's onto it. Is there anyway to do this with out erasing everything from my ipod?

You can transfer itunes purchases from the ipod. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Make sure you are signed into/authorized your account in itunes first.
When you sync, the ipod will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy top put everything back.

Ipod broke my disc drive

According to the spec above, there is no Recovery Disk Creator software. To me that implies there is no partition on the hard disk which contains the recovery image.
Looks like you'll need the optical drive.

Have you contacted anyone at Apple about your problem? Log on to apple.com, apple.com/uk or whichever is your country's page and click on the Contact Us link at the bottom. On that page you'll get phone numbers etc. You'll get a definitive answer if you go to the source and explain your problem to them.

Doesn't matter if the laptop is new, your account is not new.
Download iTunes 10.3.1 (current) when installed click on the 'purchased' link in the sidebar then click on 'download previous purchases' (lower lefthand corner of page) and download them again.

My Ipod broke down and has a noise

Hello, I have a Ipod Classic. It broke down after felt on the floor. Now it's with a strange noise and every time that I try to turn on it shows a link with the support apple site. What should I do? I went to Apple Support and they tell me they can't help. Should I go to an authorized not care and try to fix there?
