IPod calendar to look like iCal?

What do you all think of this? I'd be interested to see the calendar on my iPod look like my calendar in iCal, with options to show only certain calendars or all calendars, switch from day, week, or month views as in iCal, and see the calendar color differentiated event bars in the daily and weekly views. You could use the click wheek to scroll through days, and choose an event to see more details. Also see To Do lists by calendar and color.

Sounds good.
Let us know when you have that done. <g>

    Why isn't there a way to upload a pic of my current system. I am trying to use an online program for what I am doing and can't seem to find one that lets me put vacations of different durations at 6 different houses, using 6 different colors... maybe YOU know?

  • Ipod calendar not transferring to ical on my mac, Why??

    I need help with syncing my ipod calendar to my mac iCal program

    Make sure your iPod default calendar shows up in the Cloud. Go into the settings on your iPod and change the "Default Calendar" to an iCloud calendar. You may have to go back and individually change all the events that you have entered into your iPod prior to this setting change.

  • How can I keep photos on iPod Touch from looking like color negatives?

    How can I keep photos on iPod Touch from looking like color negatives?

    You don't have to keep your photos in iPhoto to sync to your iPod according to Apple's website which states you can sync from folders in other locations:
    "Syncing Photos from a Mac
    To sync photos from iPhoto or a folder on your Mac:
    1. Connect your iPod to your computer and open iTunes.
    2. Select your iPod in the DEVICES section of the iTunes Source list.
    3. In the main iTunes browser window, select the Photos tab.
    4. Select the checkbox labeled "Sync photos from" and then choose either iPhoto, Aperture, Choose Folder, or Pictures, from the menu.
    * If you choose iPhoto, select "All photos and albums" to copy all of your photos in iPhoto, or "Selected albums only" and select individual rolls or albums you want to include.
    * If you choose Choose Folder, navigate to and select the folder of photos you want, then click Choose. Select "All photos" to copy all photos in the folder, or choose "Selected folders" to sync particular subfolders.
    * If you choose Pictures, choose "All photos" to copy all photos in the folder, or choose "Selected folders" to sync particular subfolders.
    5. If you want iTunes to also include the full-resolution versions of your photos, select the "Include full-resolution photos" checkbox. To access full-size photo files, be sure to enable your iPod for disk use.)
    6. Once you have decided which photos you'd like to sync, click Apply."
    Hope this helps!

    Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

  • Adding an iWeb calendar that looks like this... (link provided)

    Hello
    I would like to know how to add a calendar that looks and acts like the one on this site. It just shows the month and the number of the day and that is all. I do not want all the iCal features that everyone talks about on various discussions on my website. I just want it too look like the iCal app and obviously works properly, very simple. Can anyone help. Thanks
    here is the example:
    http://www.nwpublishing.org/

    For the month use
    <script type="text/javascript">
    var d=new Date();
    var month=new Array(12);
    month[0]="January";
    month[1]="February";
    month[2]="March";
    month[3]="April";
    month[4]="May";
    month[5]="June";
    month[6]="July";
    month[7]="August";
    month[8]="September";
    month[9]="October";
    month[10]="November";
    month[11]="December";
    document.write( month[d.getMonth()]);
    </script>
    For the day use:
    <script>
    var mydate=new Date()
    var day=mydate.getDay()
    var daym=mydate.getDate()
    if (daym<10)
    daym="0"+daym
    document.write(daym)
    </script>
    Change the size, color and font to suit your needs. You'll have to place the two widgets over the calendar image to get what you want. Also resize each snippets window without hitting the Apply button afterward to make sure the longest month name will not be cut off and the same for the date window.

  • How do i get my ipod touch to look like the way i bought it

    i went to the library and updated my ipod touch but my coputer at home doesnt have internet but it has the itunes with all my songs on it but when i plug my ipod in it says it doesnt recognize my ipod because the itunes that i have is not the latest version and now i cant get the song that are on my computer onto my ipod is there any way that i can get a flashdrive and put the updated version in there to transfer it to my ipod or is there anyway i can rest my ipod to look like the way i first bought it with the original software

    You can uninstall the iTunes software and then reinstall it. Then copy and paste the old library you had to your computer at home. It should sync automatically and should be updated.

  • What does the icon on the top of the screen of the ipod touch that looks like a lock with a circle around it mean?, What does the icon on the top of the screen of the ipod touch that looks like a lock with a circle around it mean?

    So at the top of my screen like where the time is... there is this symbol that looks like a lock with a circle around it. It is next to the battery icon. What does this mean?

    It's the screen orientation lock. It prevents the screen from switching between portrait and landscape views when you turn the iPod.
    To engage or disengage this feature, double click the home button. This will bring up the multitasking tray. Swipe all the way to the left until you see the iPod controls, then tap the gray icon with the lock on it. This will toggle the feature on and off.

  • HT1386 My ipod and my itunes library are significantly different with the itunes library being smaller.  If I say "synch", is my ipod going to look like my library ( which I do not want)

    For some reason my IPOD and my Itunes account appear to be greatly out of synch.  However I am afraid to lose everything on my IPOD.  Should I synch?

    Use the manual method of syncing. You then only sync the iTunes you check to sync to your iPod. For how see the manual method here:

  • When I open ical, the calendar looks like an old desk pad vs what is in the manual.  How do I change the view (not month, day, week), but the background presentation?

    When I open ical, the calendar looks like an old desk pad vs what is shown in the manual or on-line tutorials.  How do I change the view (i.e. background) not the month/day/week view but the background template?  The default in the manual is good.  Software is current - Lion.

  • How do I make my calendar look like a calendar and not a list!

    My calendar is a list...I want it to look like a wall calendar.
    I switched from Entourage to mail and can not figure out how to change the way the calendar displays.

    I guess you answered my question...although I am very dissapointed.
    If I switch to Mail then I'll also have to run iCal and deal with two applications instead of one. Not to mention the fact that I can't get iCal to automatically update past calendar appointments all at one time.
    I never thought I would admit that microsoft did a better job than Apple (man, it hurts to say that). I guess it's back to Entourage for me until they come to their senses and combine them into one smooth running MAC product.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up

    Since itunes 2.0.4 has been downloaded my ipod doesn't synchronize properly/ at all. The LED screen shows çopying 1 or 2 from 101' and itt will remain like that.
    It looks like sync but nothing is happening. The sync doesn't stop by itself. Is there anybody to solve this problem? In previous versions never a problem.

    I have exactly the same issues with my new 80G iPOD. I have found that when connecting to my PC, the iPOD does not start iTUNES 7. This can be resolved by stopping the iPOD Service in Computer Management, connecting the iPOD and then starting it again. Then when you start iTUNES it finds the iPOD. - http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93716
    Seems like a stupid long-winded way to do things, but at least you can get some stuff on to your iPOD.
    As far as using Restore goes - I just get the restoring iPOD message you described, which it blatantly isn't :((
