Ipod can't open...

hi everyone,
My ipod app on iphone doesnt open, when i click on the icon, i've got a white screen, then 30 seconds later, desappears and nothing else...
I just updated my device, but no change...
Any solution?

There are a few possible causes for the iPod application to not open.
Try the simple things first. Power the iPhone down completely by holding the sleep/power button and sliding to power off:

It could be a content issue. If there is an audio or video file that's not readable by the iPhone, the iPod application may quit.
Try syncing just a small playlist with a couple of songs to the iPhone and test. If the iPod function works, add more material to your playlist and sync in batches until you find the possible song(s) video(s) that cause the issue.
You may need to restore the iPhone if the iPod function will not open even when you sync just a few songs:

An iPod canonly sync to one iTunes library. What ever you did to the computer the iPod is seeing the the computer/iTunes library as a new library.

The lock icon indicates that iTunes is set to synchronize to your iPod automatically, which means that you do not manage the tracks directly on your iPod, you make changes in iTunes itself. If you want to manage your iPod directly, change the iPod Options in iTunes to manually manage your iPod. To do this, connect your iPod and click the iPod Options button at the bottom of iTunes (or right-click on the iPod icon if you have iTunes 7). Click the Music button and select "Manually manage songs and playlists." You can then delete tracks directly from your iPod (they will not be correspondingly deleted from iTunes). You'll have to drag songs from your library or playlist to iPod in the Source list to add new tracks.

This may seem a fine point, but iWork apps don't actually Open Office apps. They Import them. The reason I make this distinction for you is that when you view the result of the import, you may see some variations from what was in the Office document because of an imperfect translation, and when you make edits, you are editing an iWork document, not the original Office document.

Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see:

I can't open the App Store for anything, including updates, on our iPad (3rd generation), iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, or iPod Touch. All I get is a white screen until it times out. Another forum member suggested turning off Genius, but I can't get in the store to do it. Any more ideas?

First thing I would do in a situation like that, is reboot. Hold down the home button and the top power button until you see the apple, then try it again. Good luck!

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

well it shouldn't be the battery because I had the same problem as you, and my battery was actually fully charged. I took it back to best buy the retail store I bought it from and their "Geek Squad" couldn't even get it to work so I'm getting a new ipod within a few days. Hopefully I won't have the same problem.
