IPod getting stuck at the Language Select screen. HELP PLEASE!
I couldn't turn my iPod on after charging it, so I reset factory settings. After that the buttons/clickwheel didn't work, and the only way I could turn my iPod on was with the hold switch, and then I would be stuck at the language select screen. When my friend suggested I do a hard reset (even though I didn't think the buttons worked) I did so and realized that I could also turn it on with that method, but I'm still stuck at the language screen.
I don't know what a "hard reset" is.
Have you tried a restore?

My New iPod gets stuck on the Apple logo screen.
I got a new ipod but there is one problem with it. For hours at a time it gets stuck on the apple logo screen. In this state it does not connect to my computer. I cannot get it to play music because everytime I manage to get it started up the apple logo screen pops up and shuts it down again.
Also, on the occasions where my computer DOES recognize my iPod, my iPod says it has about 1 GB of "other files" and about 1 gb of "audio files". I understand the audio but I don't remember putting anything onto my iPod that wasn't audio. What are the "other files" and how do I remove them?

< Title edited by Host >Other can be Album Artwork, Notes, Contacts, Firmware etc. or files that are on there if you are using the iPod as a removable storage device. If you feel that Other is being incorrectly reported then try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update your library onto the fresh installation. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists choose no and it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7

If that does not work, use this:
Putting iPod into Disk Mode
and try to restore you ipod.

i have a ipod nano 4G, and to sync my music, i have to put my ipod in disk mode. but when i try to turn it on regularly, it gets stuck on the apple logo screen. any idea how to keep it from getting stuck?

I upgraded my ATV and now when I select English during language selection, it goes no where. The language selection screen just comes up over and over again. I'M FED UP!
I have done the system restore several times to no avail.
WHAT DO I DO?Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the issue continues, take the device to Apple for evaluation. -
while I was updating my ipod touch to ios 6 the battery got drained during the process, i tried restoring it, it couldnt now my ipod is stuck on the Apple logo screen.
Can anyone help me with this issue???Connect your iTouch to your PC then open iTunes, if iTunes does not recognize your device, try to hold the SLEEP Button and the HOME button at the same time (iPod Reset) for a couple of seconds until the "Charging Tone sounds, now you should be seeing your device name in the iTunes " Device List". If you do, just click RESTORE and iTunes will automatically restore your iTouch to original set-up and download the iOS6 update.

- Let the battery fully drain. The charge for an hour and see what happens, Try resetting too:
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Connct to computer and restore if it shows in iTunes.
- You can try placing the iPod in recovery mode and then trying to restore. See:

How long does the configure setup take when u first turn on the IPAD? Mine seems to be stuck in the language choice. Help!
It should not be stuck at the language choice. Is there a "Next" button in the upper right corner? Or a blue arrow pointing to the right?

My Ipod is stuck on the Apple Logo Screen
For some reason, every time I update my Ipod touch it has restarting issues. I got it late December early January, so it's still new. The first time I updated it, it told me I needed to connect to Itunes and that it was in recovery mode and long story short I had to sync it from a computer that was not my own and it took two days for me to get it back up and running. This time, it's stuck on the apple logo screen. I tried turning it off by holding the lock and home button, but it just turned right back on. So then I was hoping that I could plug it into the computer and start it on recovery mode, but it doesn't even show up as being plugged into my computer. So now i'm lost at what to do.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My MacBook is getting stuck on the start up screen (apple icon, progress wheel). What can I do?
I've tried the normal troubleshooting stuff (turn off and restart, remove battery and restart, SMC reboot) but it keeps getting stuck on the initial start-up screen.
Boot from your OS installer disk and use disk utility to repair the disk.

Hello.I have a late 2008 model MacBook with snow leopard installed. I'd been having some trouble with it lately, so I went to disk utility and tried to 'repair disk'. It said there was a file system error and it could repair the disk. So I started up from the install disk and tried again...same thing. Now when I try to turn it on and power it up, it turns on, makes the chime sound and then gets stuck on the gray page with the apple. I have tried removing the battery, unplugging/replugging power, and 'safe start up mode'. It still won't go past the gray apple page. Please help!!! I'd greatly appreciate any advice or comments! My ipod touch opens up the the "enter passcode" screen. but then when i try to type the numbers in to unlock it, all it does is read the number that i click on, aloud. It won't type the number in though. Please help me!!
Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and click on the iPOd under Devices in iTuns and go to the Summary pane for the iPod in iTunes. Click on Configure Universal Acess and turn of Voice Over.
