Ipod got submerged in water help!
my ipod touch was thrown into my pool after i got in trouble. it was still on when this happened and it was in the pool for 5 to 10 mins. when i jumped in to get it it was working fine so then i went to the bathroom. i came back to see if it was still working but it was dead i looked at every site to see if i could fix it but its hopeles i dont know what to do. save up to buy a new one or wait a couple days.. any ideas?? please helppp!!!

When I connect to itunes it is not recognized because it is locked with a security code. I have tried to reset the ipod using the instructions in the user manual to no avail. Unfortunately, using a hair dryer or placing the iPhone in sunlight, at best, will dry the outside of the device. If water got inside, it may still be possible that this water has not dried and can short out the internal battery or cause other circuit damage ... and what you are seeing may be the results of that. I would recommend that you leave the iPhone turned off and take it to your local Apple Store. They may be able to help, but I wouldn't expect them to offer you a replacement. Sorry!

Attempting to turn electronincs on after they have been wet is a very bad idea.
It may be possible to salvage the device.
Do not attempt to power it on, do not attempt to charge the device.
Try placing it in a bag of uncooked rice or silica gel for a minimum of 72hrs.
After this process, then attempt to power the device on.
If it will not power on, charge, or operate correctly, the device is beyond hope. -

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes. If iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter the passcoe or you do not have the syncing computer, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovery mode:

Restore...
From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
There's more to try but let's go a bit at a time. -
I tried to sync my Macbook Pro photos in iPhoto with my iPod Touch. I have done this numerous times, but today I got an error message saying the required file cannot be found. At the same time all of my photos on my iPod vanished. Can anyone help me?

my music is not on my ipod touch anymore but one of my other software called copytrans has my music backup so i got all of my music and videos back but they will not play in copytrans itunes or just my ipod touch itself please please help there???????????
there has to be a completley FREE software out on the whole internet downloads to fix my ipod touch musics completely free no money involved
please help me to fix this i jave all of my 6 thousand plus music with some videos back onto my ipod touch this happened to me this year well a week ago or two last year and also the years before to with or without any backups but i have my other software for that saved all of my stuff thank gosh but now nothings playing so i love itunes its the best but when it doesn't play or find my lots of songs makes me mad sometimes but anyways thanks for any or all the help you can to fix this problem

I'm in a great problem,my ipod touch 4g is water damaged
my ipod touch 4gen was accidently submerged in water its cameras speakers, touch.screen ,display all are working well
but theirs a great problem that whenever i leave it for some time,5 mins maybe it gets booted.....
its quite irritating.....

I plugged it in, held the menu button and it made 2 beeps then stopped.I could still connect it to the computer and access its content . What is the problem with it?
