Ipod Hi-Fi A1121 how to run without remote control

Hello. I have A1121 ipod hi-fi speakers but i lost the remote control, how can i run that without remote controllers?

The new admin solution did not work for me.
I just got a remote today and tried to get it working but no joy. I'm having the same problem in that the 'setting' for infared receiver in security preferences is just not there?
also in my USB settings/profile there is no mention of infared.
anyone got any ideas? is it a bug with the software updates?

  • How to run a remote application (Non Java) from a Java program

Could you please tell me how to run a remote application (Non-Java) from a Java program without using RMI. Please tell me know the procedure and classes to be used.
    Cheers
    Ram

what do you mean remote application. In the other pc or in your pc just apart from you application?
If the application is in your pc,the method which the upper has mentioned is
    a good one!
But if the application you want to run is not in your computer, the method can't do. And you can use socket with which you can build an application listening some port in the pc which contains the application you want to run .When you want to run that application ,send the Start_Command to the listening application. Then listening application will run the application with the help of the method the upper mentioned.

  • How to "remove" a remote control?

How can I make my MB forget a remote control for good?
    Thank you very much!
    Peter

Ok ok let's be civil here.
What I suspect you will have to do is pair the remote to the Mac first, preferably in a second room.
Then on the ATV complete the pairing process. If there is already a remote paired then if I recall correctly it should allow you through the menu to unpair it.  Hopefully while pairing the 2nd remote to the TV the Mac will not see it.  It may even be better to have the Mac completely off while pairing to the ATV so there is no way it can see the signal.
That's my best guess. I am running 10.8 and the options on the computer end seem to be removed. I don't think Apple is even including remotes with new desktops anymore.
I wish you the best of luck. Getting the remotes paired is a big PITA that I went through once. I think I finally gave up.

  • My ipod nano click wheel will not work - Ipod works when docked on mobile speakers from remote control

My ipos Nano click wheel will not work, however when it is docked on mobile speakers it will work from the remote control.

If it continues to malfunction after a restore, it's probably bad hardware.
I'd recommend making a Genius Bar appointment. They'll probably give you a couple options: Replace it with an identical model for a discounted price, or trade it in for recycling and get 10% off a new iPod.

  • How do I Audit Remote Control?

A requirement of us implementing SCCM Remote Control, is that were able to report on what/when technicians are connecting to client systems. Upon investigating the canned reports in SCCM, I've found 3 reports that do some of this, specifically
    the 3 under "Status Messages - Audit";
    - All audit messages for a specific user
    - Remote Control - All computers remote controlled by a specific user
    - Remote Control - All remote control information
    1) Is there any more reports that may be useful? If so please specify.
    2) These reports also seem to be missing some information about connections that I made during testing. How does this auditing/report process work? and how would I troubleshoot whether the auditing was working correctly?
    3) Is it possible to audit/report on connections made from the standalone Remote Control Viewer tool?
    Thanks,
    Bill

I've used those those reports and haven't noticed missing information. I don't keep track of every session...
Perhaps were you using the remote control viewer utility directly instead of using the Admin console?
As for question 3, it is normal. If you launch the remote viewer executable directly (not from the admin console), those sessions are not auditable. There are many threads about this... here's one:
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/10aadbda-6a9c-4ee8-bcd8-a289d3a08385/methods-to-start-remote-control-other-than-sccm-console?forum=configmanagergeneral

  • Just bought Apple TV today, have one problem, how to have the remote control the TV alone, not my mac pro ...

just bought the Apple TV today, connected with my Pioneer Elite receiver, works great with my iPhone 5, HD movie steam without any problem. but when i open my MBP, problem start surface, i try to do the home sharing, but the remote control not only control my apple tv, but control my MBP as well, so it mess up everything. please help also the Apple TV keep on resume playing music or video without permission, for example, i was trying to watch a photo slideshow, but it keeping switch back to playing the video files i last watched. any ideas?

As for the remote issue, what version of OS X are you using?
With the latest version of Mountain Lion 10.8.2 you will find the remote control setting in Preferences/Sharing/Privacy then click the Advanced button at the bottom. Check "Disable remote control infrared receiver" or pair a different Apple remote to prevent the ATV's remote from controlling the computer.

  • How to use the remote control in MediaSource Audio Play

    Hello,
I bought myself the Creative X-Fi Elite Pro.
I found out that I only can use the remote control in Media Center of the software.
Now I want to use it in the Creative Audio Player whicht was also in the Box.
    Is there a way?

Yes there is. I suggest trolling these boards for the 3rd party remote solutions that will free you to use the remote in ANY application like Winamp, Notepad, Windows Media Player, etc.
    Just my two opinionated cents...
