Ipod icon wont appear on lower right hand side to transfer songs to shuffle

why is it that the ipod icon wont appear on the lower right hand side of itunes to transfer songs to shuffle?
the icon for the ipod shuffle is there but i dont have the icon that transfers the songs to the shuffle 512mb. how do i get my songs on there?

How did you wind up without a User's Guide? Or avoid finding out that you can download a complete copy of it from the Support spaces at Apple?
The little icon you're describing is the one for iPod Preferences and has nothing at all to do with transferring songs. It won't show up, however, unless and until the iPS is mounted and visible by iTunes. Not seeing it appear there means your Shuffle isn't mounted.
As for the rest, sorry .... don't have a clue what you might mean. Using vague terms like '...this thing ...' and ' .... on there ...' doesn't really do much but lead to more questions which, in any event, I'm not asking.
Get a copy of the User's Guide, read it, then post back (if you still need to) with specific questions.

So, if I take a screenshot of something, or if I download something, it will appear as an icon up the right hand side of my wallpaper. What does this mean? Those represent the screenshots you've taken as well as the mounted dmg files. Once you've installed the software, you can remove the mounted images; files on the desktop can be dragged to other locations.
Nothing important to Mac OS X's operation will end up on the desktop unless manually put there.

When transfering tracks across to ipod a sliding panel appears on the right hand side of itunes. after acknowleadging the transfer the panel does not slide back out of the way to alow another transfer.

I have an even simpler method. I use MyPublisher to print my books. I select their page layout for a two-page spread, drag and drop the image. DONE! I understand that most people have their favorite places to have work done. I have been extremely pleased with MyPublisher.com, so I haven't even tried the book module in Lightroom.

To be more precise: I am talking about the logging-in within the System Preferences on my iMac.
When trying to log in with the old ID, I get no access, i.e. it says "Try again"...-Trying the same with the new one gives me the result I mentioned in my first question...
Now I found out how to do it: I had to erase all accounts-then I could sign in with my Apple-ID. Thanks again.

I have a pencil icon (named bookmark) in lower right hand corner of any firefox webpage. It is too easy to accidentally click on it when I merely want to use the scroll arrow. How do I delete it.

List your add-ons in a reply. On the Help > Troubleshooting Information screen, click "Copy all to Clipboard", then paste into the reply area. Im missing the multi-speaker icon tab in my lower right corner.

Using Windows 7 home prem. Firewall off and no home sharing compatibility with iphone and apple airport express. I once had the ability to switch or share computer speakers and airport express with icon "multi speakers" in lower right hand corner of itunes but not there anymore. Any tips?

I am new to forms and scripts. I have to modify the output of Purchase Order form/script such that the Ship to and Bill to address that they have now on top right corner must be modified with the address that I have.
How should i be doing this?
I found that they copied the program SAPFM06P into ZSAPFM06P and the form name is some thing called ZABC_PURCHASEORDER . Now I want to figure out how should i be changing the purchase order form so that the Ship to and Bill to address that they have now on top right corner must be modified with the address that I have.
the output type is named as ZNE7.
Some one please direct me how to figure out. i dont even know if it is a sap script or smart form.

The import command only works with audio CDs. So if you burned the files in mp3 format, try instead using the "File > Add file to library" or "File > Add folder to library" commands.

Always had no problem syncing iPod but now when I connect to computer it says iTunes detects a device but can't verify properly. Nothing is appearing under devices or on right hand side it's not saying "privates iPod" anymore to drag songs to.? Help

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- See if another computer sees the iPod in iTunes
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
