my itunes is sayin that my ipod is connected to five itunes and i cant put the music i just downloaded on to it. i dont kno how to remove one of the itunes accounts please help.

Are you sure that you are reading the message correctly because an iPod can be used with an unlimited amount of iTunes libraries?
Perhaps you mean that your computer is using up the maximum of 5 authorizations for purchasing music from iTunes?

I have been trying for a few days now hoping my ipod will connect to itunes, ive tried downloading the latest version of itunes.
Connecting it to a different compute
Plugged it in different USB slots.
Ive also looked through apple support and various forums and cant seem to find any information thats very helpful.
Has anyone had this happen to them? Any help would be great

Yes - you can unlock the iPad. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad. You will probably need recovery mode - the last article listed here - in order to bypass the forgotten passcode.

my ipod wont connect to my comp/ charge via usb
we have two different usb's so im pretty sure they arent the problem (they work with the wall charger but not the computer)
im not very computer smart so dont expect much knowledge on my part : )
we've connected with the comp before, but it just stopped connecting

Back up first (Time machine) as much as possible.
Un-install and re install Itunes.
First and foremost download the updated iTunes from apple website. After downloading Uninstall itunes and all its component ( Dont worry, itunes library where your movies and music is located will not be deleted. Please follow instructions on the apple support page). The problem might be the AppleMobileDevice.kext

I recently bought a new computer, and downloaded new music.. I want to sync my new music into my ipod but it wont le me.. if i sync it will erase all my music and if i press okay it says it cant because my ipod is connected to another itunes..

You can only sync everything with your one syncing computer/iTunes library. Yu can:

IPod 5thGen-Connects & Syncs w/ iTunes, then disconnects and won't charge!

When I plug my iPod into the USB port on the computer, it starts up, gives me the "do not disconnect" warning, syncs with iTunes, then turns on as normal for a few seconds.
After less than a minute, the computer ignores it. The external device icon disappears from the tray and the iPod shuts off. It does NOT charge. It's as if the computer just pretends it's not there.
It was charging fine last week. I have the latest iPod updater and the latest iTunes.

I have an issue with my iPod nano. I first connected it to the iTunes on Mac and synced perfectly, but now I am trying to connect it to the iTunes in Windows but iTunes can't see it. Even althought the iPod is visible in Windows explorer so it is connected to the PC. Don't know what to do next.

Also you might try forcing the iPod into disk mode first, then connecting it to your computer and see if that makes it show up in iTunes...

Can't get my iPod to connect to my iTunes

Received the new iPod for Xmas, my brother inlaw go one to. To cut a long story short - I copied his iTunes to my iPod about 1500 songs. Now I am home and installed iTunes onto my PC copied my CDs to iTunes about 2500 songs. However when I connect the USB to my iPod and PC it does not come up in itunes or anywere else. Under Preferences - iPod tab it shows "No iPod connected" ! How can I connect with out having to "reset All Settings" = lose my songs on my iPod ? HELP

I am having the same problem. I have both a laptop, which I used first for the ipod, and a desktop which I have loaded most of my music collection into. My ipod is recognised by itunes on my laptop but is not recognised by itunes on my desktop. I have gone through all the troubleshooting tips aside from 'restore the ipod' as I don't want to lose the music on my ipod. My ipod is recognised on 'my computer' on both my desktop and laptop. Frustration set in long ago!!! Any help for this problem would be greatly appreciated!
