I have icloud on my Ipad and today it says icloud backup this ipad hasn't been backed up in weeks.Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in,locked, and connected to WiFi. Then OK, well, it will not let me OK it and or get on any of my icons. Like it is frozen. Nothing is on my screen (no icons) and it won't let me unlock it. As the mmessae says, connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes. If iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter the passcode or you do not have the syncing comuter, place the iPod in recovery mod and then restore. For recovery mode see:

If you have a fraud alert or comenity *THINKS* you have a fraud alert, that could be one reason. I've been fighting them for a month just to get a replacement card, they are using a stale report for me as I formerly had an alert on my CRs, but it's been removed since late spring. -

What's going on? When I type the title of my new Pages document, iwork is substituting a hyphen for the colon I want. This is bizarre! How do I make my computer do my thing vs its thing? I have Pages '09.
Colons are used by the operating system so can't be used in file names.

Hi everyone,
I have never seen this happen before, were I edit a segment of video about 2 minutes long, I render it out and afterwards the clips in my edit change completely to something different. It takes footage from the same tape and replaces my clips with random clips.
Does anyone know what is happening and how to fix it.
I have just erased and installed a fresh copy of OSX and all my programs have been newly installed, hoping it would resolve this issue.
I could really use someones opnion.
Thank you in advance for all your helpOnly thing I though of was deleting the clips, renaming the timeline, moving the entire project onto a new harddrive and erasing all the render files.
If this does not work I am going to toss my MAC out the window! -
I have restarted my ipod touch a countless amount of times, and it is stuck on a screen. on the screen it says, "ipod is disabled, connect to itunes". i have also tried connecting it to itunes, and itunes says i have to type my passcode in for it to connect. but the screen is frozen, so i cant. what do i do?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My ipod touch displays message" ipod touch disabled,connect to itunes. Ipod touch does no connect with i tunes. I hold on/off switch on ipod touch until Apple log appears on the screen, but the problem persists. Any suggestions ? I am running Itunes 10.6(7) My Mac OS X Version is 10.5.8.
I connected ipod touch to my IMAC while holding on/off switch as stated to by anothe community memberand problem is solved. I wasable to update and reatore. I have been trying to solve the disable problem

My 7 year old daughter has an iPod Touch 4 and she used the wrong password too many times. She thinks she remembers her password now but we have already exceeded the attempts and it says "iPod is disabled" connect to iTunes. Is there any way we can get the device to allow another attempt? We are traveling this week so don't have access to the serial number or the computer that was used to originally set up her iTouch. I don't even know what operating system it's on and can only see the home screen.
Restoring the iPod will do nothing to his iPhone.
When you restore it wipes the iPod clean no matter what computer you use.
The only plus to doing it form your home computer is if you have a backup stored there, then you can restore from the backup once it's done wiping.
If you are away form your home computer, go ahead and use the computer you have to restore it, then when you get home, you can restore form any backup you may find. You can use this to help you do that when you get there: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 -

this is the second time i have forgotten my passcode to my ipod touch, the first time i had no problem with resetting everything, it worked fine, this time it says ipod is disabled connect to itunes, so i plug it into my laptop and i sit there staring at the side bar on itunes till it comes up with my ipod, but it doesn't, when i do this on another computer it lets me restore it, but then it stops halfway and said cannot do this since ipod is locked with a passcode, please enter the passcode and try again, but if i cant get into it how can i put in my passcode? is there any way that i can find out my passcode, or any other way i can reset my ipod
