Ipod manager internal error
Can anyone help with the following query: whilst trying to update my ipod video the following error comes up- ipod manager internal error, and then it wont let me do anything else, its not being recognised on my computer anymore, has this happened to anyone else or can anyone offer advice.

If you are updating via wifi then connect the iPod to your computer and try there. And the other way around too.

I have a fire wire ipod.
I know the device is recognized by the PC because it shows up in "my computer" and I can see what is on the ipod.
When I try to update the songs in Itunes the Ipod is recognized but updates fail.
The error reads: "attempting to copy to disk "IPOD" Unknown error -69"
I try to run the IPOD update /restore software and that give an error also.
"IPOD Manager internal error" and then the window closes.
so after everything i went to check my ipod drive to see if there is any folders in it . this is all i got calander notes and contacts. tat is all i have and if i put files into my ipod folders. it can. but it jus cant transfer music over from itune. man im at my wit end -

Hey there, I had an ipod 4th gen but it died so i bought a 30gig video. It was going all awesome until tonight I went to play some songs and most of them didnt work. They just skipped to the next song which skipped to the next etc. etc... So i opened itunes to try putting them back on but it then it said i only had usd 7.something gig of my ipod as opposed to the original 16gig i had on yesterday. None of the songs worked on the ipod but all played perfectly on itunes. So next i opened the ipod updater and it says "iPod Manager Internal Error". Can someone please explain what has gone wrong and how I fix it? Thanks heaps!

I've plugged my ipod mini in to my pc and am getting an error message on the pc saying "ipod manager internal software error". The ipod doesn't register with itunes and the "do not disconnect" message is not going away...can anyone advise what I need to do to fix this?

IPod install disk creates internal error
I just bought my 1st iPod but am having difficulty. iTunes loaded just fine and I can download music/videos, etc. but I cannot download songs from iTunes onto iPod. When I connect to USB, the 'do not disconnect' message comes on but songs do not get loaded onto iPod.
Internal error I get at install has only a number, no description to tell me what the error is.
Appreciate any help!!!What's the error number that you're getting?
Also, what model/generation iPod do you have?
You could try bypassing the iTunes install CD and downloading the latest version (7.0.1) from the website.

I cannot update or restore. I tried everything, i even thought it might be the harddisk that went dead but thats not it.

New iPod w/iTunes internal error message
My iPod froze a week ago and then gave me the sad face icon so I sent it in for repairs today I received a brand new iPod. When I hook it up to my computer (windows) it says that the iPod software is not up to date and to Run Updater. When I do that it says manager iPod internal error. And that is is. Nothing else. iTunes isn't recognizing my iPod. Anyone know how to resolve this issue?
I did try the various steps people have suggested in other threads but still the problem exists.
I phoned Apple today and they have offered to change the iPod again and actually advised me not to update the new one...
They are suggesting it may be a USB problem - but having used a PC and a laptop, and three different cables I doubt that.
One other thing they suggested is that the wireless adapter I use for my web connection may be causing the problem - again I've tried it on a patop with an integrated wireless adapter but you never know I suppose. -
I plugged my ipod touch into my computer to sync it and it came up with an error message saying that it encoutered an internal error and it refused to sync.
I then unplugged it and plugged it back in and this time it told me that I needed to restore from a backup or set it up as a new ipod. I tried to restore from a backup but it came up with the error message "Backup session failed" every time. I then looked on my ipod and all of my music and movies are gone though it still says that they are on the ipod in itunes. I decided to use the restore function and let that finish. After restoring it still doesn't allow me to sync or back up and The music and movies can still not be seen. I am currently attempting to copy the music and movies to my ipod though this did not work with my apps as they transfered but when I attempted to open them they just crash... If someone could please help me it would be great. It is driving me crazy.If you get an error that says can't backup, try moving the existing backup file to a safe location and thry again. again. Can anyone tell me what may be going on? Yesterday I had configured channel bonding for network interfaces. Did firmware update on RAID adapter and updated linux packages including kernel. Going to old kernel didn't help. I tried restarting processes, that also didn't help.Aerosmith wrote:

I have restarted the Timesten Daemon now its working fine.But why i got that error?

Linux j2se 1.4.2 INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: no manager for initializing
I have just installed j2sdk1.4.2_04 and NetScape 7.1 on Redhat Linux 9. After following the instruction to enable java in the browser by issuing the command:
ln -s /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_04/jre/plugin/i386/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji .
(note the final period)
then restarting browser, I get the following message:
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: no manager for initializing factory.
If I remove the link, the browser starts working again (without java).
I have looked in the search engines, other people are having this problem, but I did not find the cure there.
HELP!There are two versions of the plugin shared object, one for elder and one for newer versions of the C compiler. Did you pick the right shared object? If you are not sure, try the other one.
