There is no other way to bypass the combintation lock other than to connect the nano to iTunes and restore it to factory settings, erasing all content and settings from the iPod.

You're not obligated to insert a gift code. But you can purchase gift codes on the Apple online store (gift cards or certificates) or Apple Retail store

When I plug in my iPod nano 4th gen to iTunes and click on my iPod, I can see a graph showing how much space is available on my iPod and what it is being taken up by. A lot of space is taken up by 'other'. What is this? I have a big iTunes library, with about 2000 songs, so I don't want all this space taken up by something I don't know what it is. How can I get rid of it?

To try and resolve this issue, please unplug the power from the unit for about 25-30 minutes. Once this time frame has passed, plug the unit in directly to a wall outlet to see if the printer will power on.
If the error still remains, please contact a technical support representative at 1-800-652-2666 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., EST, Monday - Friday for additional assistance with this error.

Earlier today, I tried to use my shuffle, but for some reason, not only did it not play music, it gave a tri-tone. When I put it into the USB of my computer, the light flashed red for a moment then stopped. My iPod does not show up on iTunes nor My Computer. Can someone tell me what is wrong and how to fix this?

My father bought a used ipod classic 80G 3 days ago. I hooked the ipod up to my itunes and restored it. As i was loading music to the ipod, I realized that the music was not loading and then I got a error code -1303. I restored the ipod again, same thing happened. I reformatted the ipod and then restored it and now it let me load 6G's of music and won't let me add anymore music. I'm now getting error code -53 and error code -1303. What is this and what can I do to fix this problem?? Please help!

Sounds like your iPod has failed. You could get it repaired/replaced by taking it to an Apple Store/Genius Bar or Apple Authorised Repair Specialist. If it's still under warranty it should be repaired under the terms of the warranty. Accidental or wilful damage is not covered by the warranty.

IPod Nano - what is "other" and how can I get rid of it
I have a 2gb iPod Nano and only have 1.19gb worth of audio on it right now. I can't put anything else on it because there is 602mb worth of "other" taking up room on the iPod. I don't have any pictures or podcasts on it, i've disable album artwork, and i haven't synced it with my calendar nor do i have any notes on it. Does anyone know how i can identify and delete all this "other" stuff? Help.

Settings > General > Accessibility > Turn of "White on Black". -

Some other uses have experienced a Restructuions passcode just appearing out of thin air. Try passwords you use on the iPhone. -
