I have received my replacement package and returned it on 27th November. The website still says apple have not received it, the post office can't give more information because I didn't pay for the postage. I have the proof of postage slip but can't get anymore information from Apple about this. Does this mean I've lost my Ipod?

Don't worry!
I posted my iPod to Apple on Nov 25th and have been worried ever since... phoning both Royal Mail and Apple, to no avail!
Just checked my repair status today and Apple has received it and it states "Product Replacement Pending".
Things are simply taking much longer than previously anticipated and perhaps the christmas mail is also causing some delays.
Just hang in there & be patient!

I also downloaded the newest version of itunes and it said that "itunes requires that your computer is running windows

You cannot use iTunes under Windows 98/ME. For just synchronizing tracks with your iPod, you could get a third-party utility such as Anapod, Ephpod, or Xplay for handling the transfer. I haven't used any of these and I don't know if any support the new iPod nanos, so I can't make any recommendations. These applications cannot connect to the iTunes Music Store, so unless you upgrade, you won't be fully supported and will not be able to purchase tracks from the iTMS.
I strongly suggest you consider upgrading your version of Windows, though. Windows ME is no longer supported by Microsoft and it's going to get harder and harder to find applications that will work under 95/98/ME.

Here is the problem: The tab where you go to sync music to your iPod and shows the list of artists and songs you want to sync to the iPod, the tab I can get to but the list of songs and artists does not show up and the only way I can sync music to my iPod is to basically wipe my iPod and start from scratch. Obviously, I do not want to do that because I do not have all the songs in my library that I have on my iPod. I have uninstalled iTunes and then re-installed it, but it did not work and I do not know what else to do. I would really appreciate helpful guidance to get it fixed if it can be fixed. You will need that library copied from the old computer. If not, then you can take a look at this in getting 3rd party software to recover your library from the iPod. Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive

I fixed my nano sound problem. Went to settings, hit center button, scrolled down to reset settings, hit center button, scrolled up to reset and hit center button. Walah, Now earphone jack delivers sound to ear buds like before. AND yes the jack was always plugged in all the way. Simple problem, simple solution.

I tend to select things from left to right and every time I am moving in a downward right diagonal motion during lasso selection I am missing a clear view and I am tending to have a more sloppy selection. All this does is slow me down since I need to go back and hit those areas again. The big arrowhead just get's in the way. The original lasso tool with the thin line and small active point at it's lower left was far better for me.
I don't like turning the cursors to precise because I like to see the active tool icon where my cursor is and as the icon changes as I hold modifier keys down. If I am forced to get comfortable with using pricise cursors I guess I will, but man, I've never had to do this in my 15 years of photoshop use...
I would absolutely LOVE to find a way to get the old lasso icon -- without the arrowhead above it.
Is there any chance this option could be inlcuded in cursor preferences? I'd give much thanks, Adobe.
