Hello Ryan,
Since it sounds like you have already tried all the usual and available troubleshooting techniques, I would make a trip to your local Apple store/Genius Bar and have them take a look at it.  Your iPod is still under Apple's 1 year warranty that cover any defects (but not accidental damage!).

  • HT1459 My nano (6th gen.) sleep/wake button is frozen. What can I do?

My nano (6th gen.) sleep/wake button is frozen. What can I do? I have owned this less than a year

I had a broken home button within 6 months and had it replaced. Now I have a broken volume up button less than a year later. They want $65 to fix with 90 day warranty. This is a major defect and they should have recalled these units. It is insane that they are still ignoring this problem and telling people to pay to have it fixed. I'm filing a complaint against Apple.

  • HT201401 How can i reset my iphone if the Sleep/Wake button does not work?

My camera shuts off every time that I try to take a picture. I would like to reset my IPhone in order to try and solve the problem. My Sleep/Wake button does not work.
How can I reset my IPhone without the Sleep/Wake Button working?
    Thanks for the help.

When pressing the sheep/wake button, the iPhone's screen is not turned off if on and does not turn on if off, and pressing and holding the sleep/wake or on/off button does not bring up slide to power off?
And you can't do a reset by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release?
If so and there is no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes, make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby since more than likely there is a hardware problem.

  • HT1430 My ipad mini is frozen in an app and the home button is stuck.  Pressing down on the sleep/wake button does not give me the red slider to turn the ipad off.  Is there any other way I can reset?

My ipad mini is frozen in an app and the home button is stuck.  Pressing the wake/sleep button does not bring up the red slider to turn the ipad off. Is there any other way I can reset the ipad?  Can I remove the battery? and then put it back in?

No the battery is non removable.
Try a Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
    Release the Buttons...

  • HT1430 I am unable to reset my phone as the sleep/wake button does not work????

My sleep/wake button has stopped working.  I have checked the support site and it states to reset but I can't as the button does not operate.  Do I need my phone repaired?

Yes. If something is broken, you generally have to get it fixed before it will work again.

  • My iPod nano (6th G)'s Sleep/Wake button got completely pushed in and I can not turn it on

Apple has nothing listed on what to do and I was wondering if anybody else did??????

Hmmm, if there are any tech stores nearby you can bring it to them. If not then heres an article related to your topic. I won't recomend opening the prodcut yourself unless you think you can put it back together. Remember if anything is broken then im not responsible and you might need to bring it to the apple store nearby and get it fixed (might cost a bit). Good luck!

  • HT1430 My iPhone 4 will not power on.  When connected to iTunes it shows battery at 100%.  Pressing and holding the sleep/wake button does nothing; just a black screen.

My iPhone 4 will not power on.  When connected to iTunes via my computer, it is recognized and shows fully charged battery.  Pressing and holding the sleep/wake button does nothing; just a black screen.  Any suggestions?

Only way is to bring it to the Apple Store and use the warranty if it hasn't expired

  • IPod Nano 7th Gen says "Unsupported. Accessory is not supported" when trying to charge / sync

iPod Nano 7th Gen says "Unsupported. Accessory is not supported" when trying to charge / sync with official apple lightening cable.
It worked for almost a year then suddenly began to say that. My computer [windows], lightening cable and my power brick [all apple official] are all the same as they were when it was working. The iPod is almost a year old now, and has worked perfectly up until about a week ago.
I have tried resetting the iPod, plugging it into different charging sources but it keeps saying "Unsupported. Accessory is not supported"
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?
    Thanks.

Your iPod Nano firmware and iTunes updated to the current versions?
It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os version" you are using is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions.

  • My itouch (4th gen.) is frozen. It's stuck on the window show the slid bar. I've tried holding down the sleep/wake button to try and restart or reset, but it is still frozen.

My itouch (4th generation) has frozen up. It is stuck on the window with the slide bar with shows the time and date (which is the date from 3 days ago, even though it just frozen.  It won't shut down by holding down the sleep wake button on top. (yes, I held it for more than 6 seconds)  And obviously, I can't pull the slid bar over since it is completely frozen.
BTW, I tried plugging it into the computer and running the diagnostic tests on itunes, but is shows everything is fine.
    What do I try now?

Try placing the iPod in ecovery mode and then restoring the iPod via iTunes.  For recovery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
Next would beto wait for the battery to fully drain and the charge and try again.

  • HT201210 My iPod touch does not respond, I tried to restore it from itunes but it did not work, itunes recognize it but the restore process seems to do nothing

my iPod touch does not respond, I'm trying to restore from itunes but it does not work

What exactly happens when yu ty to restore?
    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • My ipod nano (6th gen)'s screen don't turned on... when resetting it, the screen turns to white.. the most worst is, it doesn't work out...

I really don't know to fix it... What happen was, when i played my ipod nano, it turns to white... i don't know if I accidentally clicked anything on the screen or the buttons at the side of the device... What i did was, I connected it in my laptap because I was thinking that maybe my ipod was in hang mode. When I was able to connect it, the itunes recognized it but I can't played the music and the screen in my ipod screen was still white... SO, I restored it in factory setting... the same thing happen... i don't know what happen, so I need your help...

You can work through the remaining five 5 R's of troubleshooting.
    http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/
It might also be a good idea to let the iPod's battery fully drain. Then charge it back up and restore it once more in iTunes.
Otherwise, it's likely a hardware issue with the iPod's LCD display, meaning you'll need to take or send your iPod in for service either via Apple or a third party repair service. Here is Apple's repair pricing.
    http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/prices/
Note that they don't actually repair the device, but exchange it for one of the same generation, model, and capacity.  A third party service will actually replace the damage part for a little less.  Google "iPod screen repair" and you should get a number of results to work with.

  • Ipod Nano 6th gen- the volume goes down to zero every time I turn the Ipod on

The volume button is not physically stuck in. I've tried restoring the Ipod but it didn't work. Any suggestions?

OK, then there is little else to do other than to reinstall OS X.
Make sure you removed everything connected to the MBP including any USB devices.
If your Mac came with a System Install DVD, then insert it and hold the c key while starting your Mac. This will boot from the DVD instead of your internal disk.
If you find the grey screen reappears then it may not have restarted from the disc, so try again. You have to get past this step to do anything. If you can't, the problem may be a dirty or damaged DVD or an inoperative optical drive.
When it gets to the Mac OS C Utilities screen, select Disk Utility and repair your hard disk. Record any errors that it finds, since your problem may be due to a failed hard disk. If that is the case, the failure will probably arise again.
Then, reinstall OS X. Reinstalling is non-destructive to your user accounts or data.
If your Mac is running Lion, or Mountain Lion, you can boot OS X Recovery and perform all the above without a disc.
