IPod Nano and Wiindows 7

I just purchased a new computer with Windows 7. I have one of the original iPod Nanos and I don't see any iPod software for Windows 7. Can I use the newest iPod software even though it doesn't specifiy that it is for Windows 7?

Updaters are no longer used. Make sure you have the most recent iTunes, connect your iPod and it will check to see if you have the most recent firmware. If you do not you will be alerted there is a new version available and asked if you want it. If not it will tell you it is current and it will check later.
