I had a look at this case sounds good, but when checked it out on the web, saw this review.
I tend to agree, if doesn't protect the screen what use is it.
Another thing to add about the review, sounds a little like they were promoting this web site, when checking it out, did have a review but has been archived, and they expected to buy $$ to read the cramy opinion.
If you click RainDayMagazine you notice they only posted on this topic and identical in each stream, purely promoters not ipod users helping others.
I stick clear of this case. One last thing, you cant see your ipod either through the metal finish of this case.
    Google search on iKeychain case:-
There have been a lot of rumblings in the Apple community about how easily the iPod Nano’s screen gets scratched so I am surprised that iLounge rewarded this case with an 8 even though it doesn’t offer any protection to the screen. It’s a very stylish case and the keychain aspect of it makes it very chic, but if I can’t read the screen due to it being scratched up then the case serves me no purpose.
You have to assume that because this case fits on a keychain it will be surrounded by keys and from what I have learned through extensive research over the past 17 months is that keys scratch stuff, .....
Who be stupid enough to run over their ipod really, please.

  • **** iPod Nano- CASE HELP! ****

I simply have a question concerning an iPod Nano case. This case that I am referring to flips open to reveal the iPod inside. Now, to keep that flap closed, there is a magnet. I am just wondering if having a magnet that close to the iPod Nano could possibly cause any sort of damage. Thanks in advance for your help. =)

  • IPod Nano case that will work with Bose Sounddock

I got an iPod nano case, and it extends a little bit, and this prevents it from connecting to the Bose soundock. Is there a case that is transparent that just goes around the iPod nano without extending a few millimeters above or below it?

I bought a 5th Gen. 80 that had problems and had to be returned. I had to wait on the release of the new ones b-cuz they didn't have anymore. I bought the 160 GB and despite the claims that everything I bought for 5th Gen. would work with the Classic except the case, I found the opposite. All my cases and armbands work with the 160 Classic that had worked with the 80 5th Gen. I have a silicone, two hardshell, an armband that were all bought for the 80 5th Gen. You actually might be better off as far as money b-cuz a lot of stores Target, Wal-mart, and even Bestbuy put all these itmes on clearance sale not realizing this and of course APPLE is not telling b-cuz their greedy butts want you to spend more $ with them (I discovered this when contrary to other claims none of my A/V cables and dock work).

  • ExtremeMac MicroShield Ipod Nano Case

Does any one have experience with ExtremeMac MicroShield Ipod Nano Case?
How is it compare with the Agent 18 Shield 4 Nano case?
Also, do you know the availability of any of them?
Thanks for your help in advance!

I have some friends at school who have both of theses. The one has a ExtremeMac case, and to be honest, it is flimsy and cheap. The sides of it are not smooth they are rough like you can see where the mold was to make it. The Agent 18 case that my other friend has is for the mini, but i dont think that should make any difference. It is the best case out there, it protects 100% of the time...unless you are running it over with a car or something, but that is highly rare...anyways, my nano is on its way, and im gettting the Agent 18 when it gets here for sure! wouldnt live without it!

  • Apple iPod Nano Case

Hello. I was just wondering, which case looks like it would be better, look better, and just overall better. They are both twenty dollars. Which one should I get? The Incase Neoprene Sleeve for iPod Nano, or Agent 18 Shield for iPod Nano. They are in the Apple store under iPod Nano cases, but I can't put a link to them for some reason. What is your opnion?

    Hi
I just received my Incase Neoprene Sleeve for my Ipod Nano. It looks great sure it wont make the nano as tiny but no cases do. It has a cover for the screen and the click wheel. I have not recived my nano yet but I have seen one in the sleeve. The picture quality was very good. When I receive my nano it will go straight to the case. If you want I will write a review for you. My suggestion is the Incase neoprene Sleeve!
P.s. Have you look at the reviews on the Apple Store online?

  • IPod Nano bought from North America didn't work with PC in China

This sounds stupid, but I recently bought an iPod Nano (8G) from North America and sent it to my friend in China. However, my friend told me that the PC failed to recognize the iPod. What an embarrassment.
Is that possible? How to resolve? Thanks

First of all, get him/her to try another port on the computer. Some ports are not connected direct to the motherboard and do not recognize the iPod as well as those that are. Reset the iPod each time it's connected to another port.
Then try with the iPod in forced disk mode.
    Putting iPod into disk mode.
Still no joy, see if any of these articles help.
Windows XP cannot detect an iPod.
USB drivers are not installed properly or are out of date.
iTunes 7 doesn't recognize the iPod.

  • Can't decide which ipod nano case to buy :S

I am actually planning to buy an ipod nano 2gb. I want to buy a nice protective leather case with it which will protect my ipod from scratches. But I am actually very confused which one to buy :S Can any one of you help me with the decision? It would be a great help, I am looking for a case stylish as well as that would protect my ipod nano very well...
I also noticed that in the box of the ipod nano they included a case. Can anyone of you let me know what type of case that is? Or show me a picture of it... please. Thank you very much for your concern. Waiting for reply

yeah, thats what i mean. This is the one I bought, though is basically the same as the one you found. This one actually has a warranty on it, and I've heard its the best out there. It gives full body protection, too: front, back and sides. Unfortunately, I don't think you can take them off and put them back on, at least they wouldn't look good reused. They are basically a sticker that you apply to it, using a tiny bit of water to keep the air bubbles out.

  • Best iPod Nano Case, and it's only $3

Purchase an unlubricated condom from your local drugstore, slip it over your iPod Nano. It works great! It's perfect because it protects from scratches, and still retains it's slim form factor without adding the bulk of traditional cases.
Just make sure you purchase an UNLUBRICATED one!!!

    Woo-hoo!
    Party hats for your nano.
Never mind ribbed - I want funky colours !

  • IPod nano case with protective screen, available in store (looking for one)

Hey, im looking forward to buy my first mp3 player, and its gonna be a white iPod Nano. I read alot of reviews, and some people have problems with scratches, and their screen cracking. I am really concerned about the screen cracking.
Is there a good quality protective case with a screen protector, (maybe a wheel protecter, not noccesary though), that is sold at major stores (wal-mart, circuit city, bestbuy, etc)? Price can be an issue too, so not too expensive. Thanks in advance!

  • IPod Nano 4GB from PC to iMac

I have an iPod Nano 4GB that was formatted for Windows a couple of years ago. Shortly afterwards I bought and iMac and would like to like to be able to sync my iPod with the iMac. Most songs were loaded from CDs. However, a few were purchased from iTunes on the PC. What is the best way to move the entire iTunes library from the PC to iMac and allow synching between iPod and iMac going forward? Thanks.

Thank you so much; I have been scouring these discussion forums for a solution to my problem!
I was having problems deleting songs from my iPod and reclaiming the space, so I restored my iPod. Afterwards, I was only able to fit on about 50 songs on and had no idea what to do! I tried looked at dozens of discussions on here, tried the five r's, changed the drive letter, updated iTunes and my iPod...
However, your post made me look at song sizes and I realised that the ones imported from my CDs were WAV and taking up over 1,000kpbs each!
I'm currently importing songs from my CDs to iTunes again, this time into mp3 files!
    Thank you!!!

  • Complicated question: iPod nano/playlists from cloud

A little hard to explain but here goes...
I have an old iPod nano without internet capability.  If I get iTunes Match, I can pop in a CD & upload the tracks to my iMac.  They will then be available in the cloud.  I assume I can then delete the track from my iMac & still have access to it in the cloud for streaming.  Right?
Assuming that's right, if I have a playlist that I sync with my iPod, will it still work with tracks that I have in the cloud, but not physically on my computer.
Here's how I think it works:
I make a playlist from songs in the cloud synced with my iPod.
    I connect the iPod.
iTunes will DL the songs onto my computer in order to transfer them to my iPod.
    I disconnect the iPod.
I delete the tracks from my Computer.  (They're still in the cloud.)
The next time I connect & sync my iPod, will it lose the tracks that are in the cloud but not on my computer?  Will it re-DL them?
My goal is to have a large library to choose from for my iPod without keeping all those tracks physically on my iMac.

    Hi
I suggest that you read this Make and keep a backup of your iTunes library, and only stream from the cloud.
The music needs to be on your hard drive to sync with the iPod nano. If you delete tracks from your hard drive, they will be removed fron the nano next time you sync.
Why do you need to stream music on your imac? Do you need to free up hard drive space?
