Ipod nano error when turned on

When i turn on my nano it shows an icon saying www.apple.com/support..help please? what do i do?

I wish I could help you too. I've run into the exact same problem and nothing that I'm following in the manual is helping. My screen actually says "Do not disconnect." If I toggle with it and try to reset it, then the same screen as you described comes on.
I'm waiting for someone that can help me too.

Your problem is that your iPod is not sensing that your headset is inserted. There is a pin inside the headphone port on the Nano that senses if it is inserted fully. If it does not sense anything, it will pause playback when the screen turns off to save battery power. Here are the solutions:
Insert it fully. This will fix it for most of you. Press that thing in there all the way. You should feel and hear a full click when it is fully seated. If you can see ANY silver of the headset jack, it is not fully inserted.
Debris inside the headset port. If you are totally unable to push the headset jack all the way, the most likely problem is that you have crud inside your headphone jack. Try blowing it out or slapping it against your palm with the headset port facing your palm to try and get the stuff out. If you look into he jack with a light, you should be able to see to the bottom. The entire inside of the headset port is white, so if it looks dark at the bottom, that is the crud that is keeping your nano from working.
Headset jack or plug issue. If you cannot solve the problem with 1 or 2, then there is likely something physically wrong with either the headset jack on your headphones or the headset port on the nano.

IPod communication error when i updated iTunes!

I updated my itunes and now when i connect my iPod Nano to my computer this error message appears:
The software for communicating with the iPod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes to intall the iPod's software.
When I reinstall iTunes the same error message appears. I have also removed all of the software related to the iPod but to no effect.
Can anyone help me?

I'm also having the same problem since upgrading to the latest iTunes version 6.05. I've followed all the instructions for uninstalling and reinstalling ipod updater and itunes setup including deleting all temp files, diabling Norton Antivirus. Still get the iPod Service Error when launching iPod updater and the communication error in iTunes. I'm at a loss to the problem. My other PC with iTunes 6.04 reads the ipod just fine. Any other suggestions?

Is there a case around this iPod? It might be pushing on the touch wheel. Does it happen when you flick the lock switch? If so it seems like a restore is in order

My ipod nano won't turn on. I have tried restarting and resetting it. I have tried plugging it into two different computers and both times it just kept blinking the apple logo. It's not on hold. My warranty is expired. Do I need to get it repaired or replaced, or is there something I can do?

Are you sure the batter isn't just running out of juice? When the iPod quits responding do you plug it in to charge for a couple of hours? What are you usually doing when listening to the Nano?

I am trying to backup my itunes from my iPod nano and when i get to the screen that should say backups there is no backup button it says options instead, help!!!

I didn't realize I had to send my original back until I was finished. I don't want a 6th gen, I have one already.
