Ipod nano icons have rotated

My ipod nano icons have rotated and our now on their side.... how do i get it upright again? So basically everything is on it's right side reading from top to bottom with the sleep and volume buttons on it's left side. I want it so the sleep and volume buttons are at the top and the icons and everything is reading left to right from there.

Sounds like your display was rotated. To rotate it back:
Place two fingers on the screen and rotate in the direction you want the screen to
move, until the screen faces the way you want.

Is there a way to get the IPod Nano icon to reappear in the Source List? I'm not sure that it ever was there. I guess it's possible that I may have deleted it. I'm using version 7 of itunes. Thanks!

Do you have the right boxes checked to sync the music to your iPod?

Sometimes my ipod nano will have a voice announcement of the song and then skip to the next song on the cd and then announce again and skip again over and over again??

There is no 5 device limit. There is a 5 computer limit.

I have a new ipod nano and have created an Apple ID and provided all of my account details including address (shipping and billing and debit card). When trying to buy music through itunes I am told to review my account details. i.e. I cannot use itunes!!

I have a new ipod nano but at the moment I am unable to download music through itunes. I'm so disappointed. I have created an Apple ID, reviewed and inputted all of my data for my account and still get told to 'review account' because my ID has not 'been used with Itunes before. Why is this happening and why don't apple have a more intuative way of dealing with this.

Can I load songs and photos into an Ipod Nano I have purchased as a gift?

I have purchased an Ipod Nano 2GB as a gift for my 9 year old granddaughter for Xmas.
Before sending it I'd like to load some songs & photos on it, from my own Ipod Library and computer.
I'm concerned that doing this from my computer will only complicate things when they receive the Ipod and then install it on their own computer. The family is not real computer literate and the simpler the better.
What advice does anyone have - best to leave the new Ipod untouched and empty and have the initial install with Itunes/Apple on the computer they will be using? (Windows XP as well)

Personally I think it would be best to leave it. To use an iPod on multiple computers it has to be set to manual update. If your granddaughter wanted to update her iPod automatically (which is the simplest way) whatever you put on would get erased as the songs and pictures wouldn't be on her computer. Why not send along an iTunes gift certificate with it so she can buy some songs she'd like? Doublechecking. Have you also tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:

My ipod nano doesnt have enough battery for the computer to recognize it

Well my ipod nano is really screwed up!
Ok so a couple weeks ago I plugged my ipod into my computer because the battery was getting pretty low, and my computer didn't recognize it so i restarted the computer plugged it into a different port and it still didnt work. I tried this with every port on my computer and by the time i had done that the ipod was completely out of battery. I have tried resetting it but it still wouldnt stay on long enough for my computer to recognize it. Also, before this happened, it sometimes took two or three times of plugging it in for my computer to recognize it. Then I installed an update for my ipod and when it took all the songs off of it and then put them back on, it put all of the songs I have on itunes on my ipod whether they were checked or not and i couldnt get them off. Basically I would like to know if I should send it in to be repaired or if there is something I can do to fix it myself. Thank you so much!

Why don't you try resetting the iPod while it is attached to the computer?

Help! Itunes not recognizing Ipod Nano. Have tried several things already.

Itunes does not recognize my ipod nano (6th generation). When I plug it in to the computer, nothing happens (except it charges). I have tried several of the recommendations (reinstalling itunes, resetting ipod, etc. etc.) I have Windows 7 on my computer with the latest version of Itunes. Interestingly, when I plug my Ipod into my other computer (which still has an older version of Itunes), it syncs right up and is recognized.
What can I do to get Itunes to simply recognize my Ipod? I am beyond frustrated.

Are your iPod Nano's have some loose parts inside?

Hey everybody,
I recently got my black iPod nano 4GB. After using it for a couple of days I've noticed that when I shake it a little (not very strong ... not to break it I'm sure) I can feel that inside it there is some loose part that goes back and forth from one side of my ipod to the other one (inside of course). I was wondering whether there's something wrong with my iPod 'couse my girlfriend has same 2GB device, and I'can't feel any loose parts in hers when I shake it.
I suppose it's the battery, becouse I've seen some technical manual on the internet of my iPod, and the biggest part was the bettery. Why would it be loose?
I mean my iPod works perfectly and I'm not having any problems with it, but it just annoys me that I've spent 250$ on something that is not fully perfect
Would apple take care of it for free?
I think I would have some problems becouse I bought it in USA and now I'm back in Poland, where I live, so it would probably took forever to send it to states and I don't think apple would pay for an international package?

I'm sitting here shaking mine and there's nothing loose inside.
You should contact Apple's support and see what they can do for you. I think they will often help with international issues with portable devices.

Ipod nano won't rotate

Does anyone know why my relatively new ipod nano, 6th gen., stopped rotating suddenly? I didn't drop it or bang it, but today it just stopped rotating.
I tried to reinstall the software, but that hasn't fixed it. Any advice?

I reloaded the software in, updated, etc. The iPod used to rotate automatically if you turned it, and suddenly it won't do that anymore. It will rotate with the finger twirl. Maybe this was changed in an update? It was very practical while jogging, for example, that it did this automatically.....but like I said, suddenly it stopped doing that.

Will the iPod nano 7g have games similar to the iPod nano 3/4/5g?

I previously had a ipod nano 3g and loved the three games it came with - perfect for when youre bored on the bus, and you dont have to worry about all those apps on the touch just a few simple games. I really like the new nano but i dont think ill buy it if it has no games on it.

There will not as Apple removed all of these games from the store about a year ago. Not only that, but they were just clickwheel games that only worked with iPod models that had a clickwheel, which the 7G Nano does not. Sorry.
