IPod nano repaired and no longer recognized how do I get it to sync again?

I had my ipod nano repaired, during which it was wiped clean. Now when I connect it to my computer it treats it as a new device and won't sync it with my ITUNES...how do I fix this so that it syncs again..please help

Go to Settings, and then turn iMessage and FaceTime on if they are off. If they are on, then turn them both off, restart the phone, then turn them back on.
Go back to Settings > iCloud. Whether the current or old email address is displayed there, try your current password.

Why can't you update?
There should be nothing preventing the update from 6.1.3 or 6.1.2 or even from 5 directly to 7.
What happens when you try to update?
Have you tried to Update through a computer running the most up top date version of iTunes?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

I downloaded the latest update from a few days ago 1/22/2014. Now my Iphone isnt being registered by Itunes. The computer recognizes it and it charges the phone.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

My Outlook Contacts synced to my iPod once (after finally finding out how to so that). Since then it has never synced with Contacts again. It syncs the music just fine. Some instructions I have read mention an "Info Tab" after selecting the device. I have not seen this info tab. So I can't even get past the second step to sync Contacts to my iPod. I have updated the iTunes application once since that time. The screen view was noticeably different after that. A left sidebar was no longer there. Perhaps some of the necessary things to select for syncing Contacts are now hidden.

It's hard to say what would cause that but I doubt you are doing anything wrong. They only way you could intentionally make you contacts or calendars disappear is if you either turn off iCloud syinc for contacts and calendars in Settings>iCloud or signed out of your account.
If it continues to happen, you might want to completely sign out of your account, then sign back in. To do this, you would want to start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide your password and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your data will still be in iCloud), then sign back in.

My sound is no longer working, how can i get it to work again?

My Macbook Pro sound drivers are no longer operating, everytime I turn on my laptop a message appears on the screen asking me to stop using headphones and after I click "stop using headphones", there is no sound, my volume levels show a bold mute sign indicating that there is no sound driver. If someone has knowledge in regards to this and potentially are capable of resolving this, please notify me at once as I am impatient of hearing no sound to play music and want my sound drivers to operate once again. Just to clarify, it only works when the phone is plugged in and charging. What happens when you try to activate it? Is there any error message?

I would either say that the iOS is correpted due to a software glitch or y have have a hardware problem like bad memory locations that are corrupting the iOS.
- Restore from backup via iTunes. This will install a fresh copy of the iOS. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.   This will elimate corruptin in the backup causing the problem.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Ipod nano 7th Gen is not compatible to any games in apps store. It is not an IOS device so no application can be installed in your nano. Cheers!

You can still buy iPod Nano 1G accesories (Go to Apple Store > iPod Accessories > Previous Models > iPod Nano ). Of course the vast majority of accesories will work on both 1G and 2G Nanos. There is just half a millimetre difference in thickness of the Nano and the dock connector/ headphones are nearly in the same place it's only a few cases that won't work.
Yes you can buy cheaper products elsewhere. However, my experience of Apple gear over the last 15 years is that it lasts longer and performs better.
