Ipod Nano TV commercial music

Can anyone tell me the name of the song and or the artist that Apple uses for the TV commercial for the Ipod Nano? It has such a great funky beat. I have to find out what it is! Thanks.

I would like to buy this music from iTunes as well, but nowhere do I see the name of the artist.

how can i download music from my computer to my ipod nano without erasing music already there?

If the music you are wanting to have on your iphone was purchased through itunes you can then go to your front display to settings>itunes and app store from there you have a toggled switch that allows you to automatically download music and apps by toggling the switch. You will need to toggle the switch below these switchs that allows for cellular data to be enabled if this has not already been enabled. This then will automatically download music and apps directly to your device with no additional charge to you.
    Good luck.

  • If my  ipod nano already has music on it but not my account will all my stuff be lost when i sync it to my account

if my ipod nano already has music on it but not on my new account will all my stuff be lost when i sync it to my new accont and would i still be able to add stuff from the old account to my ipod

All your iTunes Store purchases are linked to the account.  I do not think you can use two accounts with an iPod*, so you will have to choose one account or the other, and use only the things purchased under that account.
*I've never actually tried, but that's my understanding.  You'd get a better answer by posting in the correct forum.  Try the iPod forums rather than the Using Apple Support Communities forum.

  • How can I use an iPod nano to obtain music from iTunes without an email account?

I recently gave my 9 year old grandson an iPod Nano for Xmas.  He does not have an email account and his parents don't want him to have one, which I think is a good idea.
When I purchased the iPod the salesperson told me that it was possible to download music/set up an account, without a valid email account, but I don't remember the details.
Some direction to address this issue would be great.

If you are going to purchase music on a computer for him from the iTunes Store then it is necessary to set up an iTunes account which will require an email address. It does not have to be his, you can use the parents iTunes account if they have one.
But you can use the Nano without music from the iTunes Store. Just rip music from CDs the parents own into iTunes and sync those to the Nano.

  • How to use Windows formatted iPod nano to move music to a new Mac?

    Hi all,
I need to transfer my iPhone's musics, songs, apps and photo, etc to the Mac and I came across this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1329" guide at Apple Support site since I owned a iPod nano.
My questions is since my iPod nano is configured for Windows will the Mac be able to read it since it's stated clearly in the guide "While a Windows formatted iPod may work on a Mac, Apple supports this configuration only with iPod shuffle."
If I follow through the guide, 1. Switch the iPod to manual update and enable disk use, 2. Locating and consolidating the iTunes Media folder, 3. Copy iTunes folder to iPod. I will still need to restore the iPod to work in Mac and end up nothing left inside meaning songs, photo all erased.
Also, anyone using third party software like http://www.fadingred.com/senuti/ Can advise if it's good to use this? And if iPod nano configured for Windows can works with this?
Need other more solution other this to transfer the mentioned data to Mac.
    Thanks.

iPhone… iPod… iPod Nano… which one it is? You are trying to transfer music from what source, using what medium, and to what target?

Where exactly is this stated? I am unable to find this statement in the KB article you mentioned. And are you talking iPhone or iPod? This KB article applies only to iPod.

  • How do I move songs from my iPod nano to my music library?

I have an iPOD Nano that preceeds my purchases of iPad and iPhone devices.  Some music on my Nano is not in my current music library, probably because older PC's have crashed and in the process, some of the songs never made the transition into my computer or newer devices.  I am trying to figure out how to move songs on my Nano into my music library to complete the set.  Help for the dummy, please!!!

You're not a "dummy," because you cannot use iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store).  iTunes syncing of content generally works in one direction, from computer to iPod.  However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the songs files are on your computer, you can add them to your iTunes library.
NOTE:  Songs previously purchased from the iTunes Store can also be re-downloaded at no cost from the iTunes Store Purchased screen.

  • Ipod Nano 2Gb Plays music but I cannot hear it through any headphone jacks!

I can play the music and it shows that the time is elapsing but I can't hear anything! What is going on? I don't understand. Any advice will help! Thank You!
PS Its a 2GB Refurbished Ipod Nano
    Thanks again!

If none of the above help, then it's probably a service issue.
You can arrange online service here.

Or if an Apple store or Apple authorized service agent is near you, take it there and have them check your iPod.

  • Ipod nano 7th generation Music Lost !

Hi there, I bought my Ipod Nano on 12th of October. Until today I was usding it everyday in fitness with nike software with 1800 songs. However today morning when I powered on it says there is no music in it. When I go in the menu about section, I don't see any music but Usable Memory is only 848 MB. So the songs are there but it does not see them. Could you please help me?

    reseting sometimes doesn't work properly....
connect to any iTunes and then it will sync all over again....
    disconnect after sync!!!!! that's important!
perhaps this mysterious disappearing was a result of a bad/unsuccessful sync

  • My ipod nano stops the music once the backlight turns off

my iPod nano 6th generation stops the music once the backlight turns off, how do i fix it?

Your nano is pausing playback when the screen goes dark (Either when it goes dark on its own or when you click the sleep/wake button). The reason for this is that it is not detecting your headset. You may be able to hear music, but the headset jack is not inserted enough for the nano to detect that it is there (or something is blocking the connection). Here are your three options:
Insert the headset jack harder. Most folks find that this solves their problem. If you can see ANY of the silver of the plug when it is inserted, it is NOT fully inserted. You should feel and hear a click" when it is fully inserted.
Clean out the crud in the headset port. If you have tried #1 and it just won't insert all the way, it is likely that you have crud in your headset jack. Shine a light in there. The entire inside of the jack is white, so if it looks dark down at the bottom, there is probably crud down there. You can try blowing it out or using canned air. Just understand that shoving anything else in there to clean it out will be taking your warranty into your own hands! However, I have cleaned mine out using whatever was handy and small enough to fit in there and so far so good. Your results may vary!
Take it to the Apple store. If you have really tried with 1 and 2 and it is still happening, then there might just be something up with your headset port or your headset jack. If it is the headset jack, you can look closely at that and be pretty sure if that is the problem. Try another headset to make sure. If you have worked all the way through to this point and it is still happening, it is time to take it to the Apple store.

  • Ipod nano headphones in music unheard unless pushed

    I pod nano 7th gen
When headphones are put into jack they have to be pushed hard in order to hear music
Tried with various  headphones they all do the same thing then as soon as its turned the jack once in the music stops
Its not covered under warranty everything else works it does play but as soon as headphones enter it music isnt there to hear and it stops starts
What can try as have put in different headphones inc apple headphones it came with
Will a restore to factory settings work ?

The only suggestions I have are to 1) Try another set of earbuds to rule out a an issue with your current head set and 2) work through the usual 5 R's of troubleshooting to rule out a possibliy of a software glitch or data corruption.

  • IPod Nano 2nd Gen - Music Subfolder no longer appears under iPod Device

When in iTunes I manually manage my music and I used to get a subfolder under iPod in Devices which I could click on and it would show me the songs I had put on my iPod and I could add and delete at will. Since getting latest update of iTunes, the subfolder doesn't show up and I only get the Summary page on which I have clicked Manage Music Manually, etc.
I Restored Settings thinking that would help but it hasn't. I seem to be able to add music, but I haven't listened yet, so I'm assuming it's working.
I've also disconnected the iPod and have even tried a different USB port.
Any ideas what I can do to get my Music subfolder back? Please!

Okay, thanks again. I figured it out. Something must have changed with the new iTunes. Instead of clicking Cancel when asked to AutoSync, I have to unclick the box and then hit Reply (or whatever my other option was).
