Ipod nano, urgent

i have a big pronlem, i am an amateur in he ipod world, and when i try to conect it my itunes and ipod freezes..what should i do???<

I would suggest that you start your own thread instead of posting in someone else's thread.
First, go to the main iPod category.
Find the specific type of iPod you have (i.e., iPod nano[first or second generation], Fifth Generation iPod, or shuffle).

You would have to move the songs onto your computer from your iPod first and then burn them from your computer. iTunes cannot burn the songs if they are only on the iPod.
You can use free software such as this to move the music from iPod to computer...

IPod Nano URGENT Help

So I was putting a few podcasts on my iPod Nano (First Gen Nano), and I pulled the charger out of the PC while adding a podcast. This deleted all my songs on my iPod, but it is also not letting it "sync" with itunes now.
"The iPod "Stevie's Ipod" cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (-48)"
I can't find any info on this, and think I have broken my iPod. Can anyone pleasseee help?

I need urgent help! IPOD nano...

Hello people. Let me start off by explaining the condition of my IPOD nano. It's already been a year since I cracked its screen and 80% of it is now black and the remaining, sadly, only shows the white areas of the screen.
So basically, with the screen, I can only tell whether it's switched on or off. Anyway, it still function like any other IPOD except the visual disadvantage, which, I managed to overcome as I've gotten used to my IPOD's interface and my song's are arranged in alphabetical order.
My current issue here is that, lately, I am unable to switch on my IPOD. Assuming the battery was dead, I connected it to my notebook and allowed it to charge (my notebook was able to recognize it as well). However, to no avail, I was still not able to switch it on. I tried resetting it as well. Unfortunately, nothing seems to resurrect my IPOD.
After a day or two leaving it alone at 1 corner, I decided to connect it to my notebook once again. This time, the light blinks on and off for about 3 times and then switches off. During the process, there was this beeping sound too. Again, my notebook was able to recognize the IPOD.
To surmise, I still have not given up on my IPOD as I believe it is still working due to the fact that it still emits out light AND sound AND my notebook was able to read it. So if anyone out there is able to help me out here or if possible what would the beeping sounds mean and the three flashes of light, I would truely appreciate it!

I can't do anything with my iPod Nano, help urgently!!!

The other day I was trying to update my iPod nano with the latest iPod software but the program went frozen so I can't do anything. I disconnected the iPod -even when in the iPod window appears the "Do not disconnect"- and I saw that all the songs I had were gone, I tried to connect it again but since that day appears the same "Do not disconnect" but in My PC only appears a new disk unity and in my iTunes doesn't appear anything. I tried to enter to the disk unity but I can't and when I disconnect the iPod, it appears a message of "nothing could be written in the unity G" or something.
Please, if somebody could help me I would thanks forever!

Try resetting the iPod: plug it into the wall charger, switch the hold button On and Off, and hold the center button and Menu for about 8 seconds. If that doesn't work, try the other 4 R's: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/
As a sidenote: when you want to disconnect, you have to either do it through iTunes (click on the grey arrow next to the iPod icon on the left hand side of the iTunes screen), or through Windows Hardware Manager (in the taskbar on the bottom of the screen, double click the icon of a grey box with a green arrow in it-select the iPod & click Stop>OK).

But my ipod nano is in Vietnam with me. How can I cancel this shipment. Because now I and my ipod in Vietnam, I will give it to Agent Future World to handle replace for me. But they suguest me that I have to cancel that shpt and they can hangle it to you. How can I do to fix this problem.

ITunes 10.2.2 crash, when I try to sync my ipod nano 5g

Suddenly, iTunes 10.2.2 is crashing every time with EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS) and KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE, when I connect my iPod nano 5g with the apple usb cable.
Several things I have tried, didn't work:
Reinstall iTunes 10.2.2
Reinstall iTunes from Mac as described by apple support in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1224
Remove iTunes 10.2.2 and reinstall the older version from iTunes 10.1
Disable automatic sync
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000000000004
My iPod Touch 2G has no problems at all. I can sync this device with iTunes without any problems.
I need urgently a tip.

I am connecting my iPod using the original cable and iTunes does not recognise it as a device.
Yes, I tried the The Five Rs: Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore.
Yes, I tried closing iTunes -> connecting iPod -> waiting for iTunes to open -> still no device recognised.
Yes, I tried a different device using same cable (it works).
Yes, I tried different USB-ports.
Yes, my Mac Air does "see" the iPod as an external device (Finder -> Devices)
Yes, I did read other Q&A before creating this topic.

A me però non hanno solo chiuso la pratica e riaperta (sarà perchè sembravo molto affranto dalla loro inefficienza), ma l'hanno fatta diventare "più urgente", quindi non è arrivata la scatola per posta, ma mi hanno inviato un corriere.
Se ti hanno inviato la scatola, quando arriverà dovrai semplicemente ritirare la scatola e DOPO rispedirla con dentro l'ipod, SOLO l'ipod senza nessun accessorio (le affrancature a carico di Apple ti saranno consegnate insiemeOdentro alla scatola)
Nel caso che il ritiro venga affidato DIRETTAMENTE ad un corriere, il corriere arriva entro 24 ore e, nonostante ci fosse espressamente scritto:
"... Non includa nella confezione altri oggetti (es. il cavo di alimentazione) poiché non verranno restituiti. Non includa inoltre alcun materiale di imballo. Se il prodotto è imballato, UPS non lo accetterà. L'imballaggio verrà invece fornito da UPS, che spedirà il prodotto ad Apple. il corriere ha voluto che glielo imballassi io in una scatola (ho recuperato una scatola in casa e l'ho messo li).
Se la scatola non ti arriverà entro 15 giorni (di calendario), ricontattali.....
Sappiamo che a volte può capitare che le poste italiane abbiano qualche lieve malfunzionamento.....
Considerando le situazioni di scioperi, situazioni meteo e blocchi vari, non è difficile che una scatola venga persa

I am trying to use itunes, it will not open at all, have uninstalled and downloaded new software and 64bit for windows. i have an old ipod nano from about 5 years ago. anything i can do, even to view my purchases and watch/listen to music etc?

ok i have a advent roma laptop with window 7. my itunes used to work fine, completely. every time i plugged in my ipod it was ok. recently my ipod was not working so i never bothered with itunes, however i have movies/tv prog that i purchased and would like to view them. i have an ipod nano from about 5 years ago, the problem with thet is, it switches on, but the circular control panel does nothing, all you can do is lock and unlock it - nothing else.
i tried to download new version of itunes, then uninstalled my origonal version, incase it was corrupted etc, i then again tried to down load new version and also version that is windows 64bit. still when i select the downlaod to open as son as it is finnished nothing happens. and now my desktop shortcut has dissapeared. before when it was there, id double click it, nothing, right click to open it, nothing.
im not the best technically minded but i just dont see what im doing wrong here, please help

Can i have an ipod mini and an ipod nano on same account

My daughter got an ipod mini 2 christmas's ago and so we have an itunes account. This christmas my son got an ipod nano because they had discontinued the minis. My son likes a lot of the songs that my daughter had on her ipod and i really dont want to use all that money just to rebuy songs. I was wondering if there was any way that I could use one account and they both have the same songs on their ipods.

There are a couple of methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer. One way is is to set your preferences so each iPod is updated with only certain playlists within one library. You could create one playlist for the Mini and one for the Nano. Each playlist can have whatever songs you like in it drawn from the single library. IPod Nano 4Gb (2nd Gen) not detected by Windows or iTunes

I am hoping someone can help me with this as I am at my wits end.
When I plug my iPod into the usb port, it begins the charging process, but neither windows, nor iTunes will detect any new devices. I have tried the 4 R's (the fifth needs a connection with iTunes), putting it into disc mode, and even on 3 different windows computers, but no dice. To save the no doubt normal questions, The usb ports are 2.0, and brand spanking new, which i have tested sucessfully with other usb devices, so I know it's not the usb port. I have the latest drivers & updates installed, and the latest version of iTunes also installed.
Other potentially useful info:
The model is iPod nano 4bg alu 2nd gen
It's not new, i was given it as a gift by a friend who upgraded to the video model.
Though I can't be sure, I suspect that the dock cable isn't an apple product. Given that *very few* places where I live sell official iPod accessories, it is difficult for me to check.
Like I said, i really hope someone can help me, I really don't know how long i can go listening to my friends rather dubious music tastes...
