i connected my ipod to my mates computer to get some music then i forgot my passcode and can't connect to itunes on mine.Is there a way i can send my ipod to you to reset or wipe everything off so i can use it again?
You are not addressing Apple here. We are all just users like yourself.
It is easy to regain use of your iPod:
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Currently have ipod touch 4 and am getting iphone 5c this weekend. Currently our family has several apple devices and they have the same apple ID for itunes and it is the same ID that we use for icloud. I want to set up a separate icloud ID so that it is only on my new device. I still want to keep the same apple ID for purchases. Can I do this and better yet when do I do this...before the purchase, after the purchase and backing up of data. Where do I go to create a new one?

I have had an older ipod nano and i just recently got a new one. How can i add my new ipod nano to my current itunes account or do i have to have a whole new one? If i do have to have a new account how can i get my songs that i have already purchased to the new nano? I am so confused.
Connect the iPod nano to the computer the exact same way you set up the old one. You don't need to create another Apple ID, iTunes Store account, or iTunes library.

I had an HP laptop with Itunes on it and kept my library on an external hard drive. I had a 160gb classic Ipod.
My computer died and i am buying a new one (mac is out of budget)
When I get my new computer, obviously I will download Itunes. My Ipod still has all the music on it and the external hard drive is ok.
I don't want to "erase" or lose any information when I sync with a new itunes that is "empty"
What are the steps? After I download Itunes and set the folder location to my external harddrive what is next? Will Itunes recognize my IPOD? Will it load the music/list from my ipd or external into itunes?

ok, i think i posted all my question in the title LOL, I had sync my ipod to my computer over 2yrs ago, my computer crashe and now i have a new one. It will not let my sync my ipod with out reseting my ipod which will delet everthing on it. The problem is all the songs i bought on itunes is backed up on icloud, but i have alot that is from cds that i know longer have and if i did a reset i would lose all that. I'm a worship leader and children's church leader so alot of these songs i need and use ever week. is there any way i can do this without losing alot?
What did you do with the SIM from the iPhone 4? You need to "activate" the phone, but it does not need to be a SIM that is connected to service. It is just what happens when you update the phone. In this case, activation does not mean to activate it on a cellular carrier, but just to activate the phone so it works. Recently my iPod touch 4th gen. was stolen. I have had it for two years, so I don't have a warranty on it anymore. I reported it to the police, but what will apple do? This one kid reported to them that his was stolen and they gave him a new one. Will they do the same for me? Is there any other way I can get all my pictures from my iPod without iCloud set up? Would Apple be able to lock up my iPod so they cant use it at all? Please help me, thanks (:

I have 2 itunes accounts. I can no longer use my first one for purchases so I had to start a new one and it will not sync from my new one without deleting everything on my same ipod from my previous account. How do I sync between both accounts?

Over the years we have owned many i-pods. Most of them ran out of juice or were just outdated some even stolen. As of right now I have one i-pod that should be authorized to download music from my library. I plan to get a new one. My question is how do you deactivate all the old i-pods so that i-tunes doesnt think I have all these pods downloading from my personal lbrary of music. If I get a new one and plug it in it will say you are authorized 1 or 2 or whatever it is at this point to download music from this libtary. How to I get rid of all the old devices (serial numbers) that don't draw from my i-tunes library anymore?
