Ipod not showing art

So my ipod nano is not showing artwork, but it is on itunes.
There were instructions on how to enable ipod artwork on the mac forums but I couldn't seem to find the ipod settings button that was talked about.

I had that problem with a lot of my music (not showing art) and I had to do a reset thru' itunes for a different reason (was scared Id lose it all) and actually It fixed the problem I reset for with the bonus of all my album artwork appearing and being able to be viewed in turned or regular position too.
Im saying the reset in itunes of ipod fixed a lot of issues and my ipod worked better after. (it had been updated before just not reset).
You have to let it reload it all after but it asks if you want it too and I let it. I suppose if you have files that are no longer on your pc on your ipod youll lose those.

I have iPod touch 4G with iOS 6.1!
My ipod is apparently not showing art works! A majority of them! But the same songs have artworks in iTunes but they don't show in my iPod! What do i do? I've never had this problem! Is there an easy solution for this problem!???

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

IPod not showing up on computer or in iTunes

My iPod mini (It's the older version of iPod mini in the darker colors) recently stopped showing up on my iMac and iTunes. It charges, but since it doesn't show up, I can't add music or anything.
I already looked at the support page Apple has for this problem and I tried everything and nothing helped me. The only thing I didn't try was resetting my iPod, which I don't think will work because not only does my iPod not show up, but neither does my sister's and my mom's.
My sister has the same model of iPod mini as mine, and my mom has the slightly newer mini (with the brighter colors).
Does anyone have any suggestions how I can fix this problem? I gave up on it for awhile, but now I really need it resolved. Thank you in advance.

It sounds like the port or cable is having a problem. First try a different cable.
If the cable doesn't fix things then try resetting the PMU (Power Management Unit) then see if the iPod will show up.

A file or some files may have become corrupt somehow during connecting or disconnecting the unit. Try putting it into Disk Mode and see if that helps. To put it into Disk Mode, hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears. When it does, immediately press and hold the Center an Play/Pause buttons until you see a confirmation that your iPod has been put into Disk Mode.
If you are able to do this, it may be a good idea to restore the iPod to its original settings. Keep in mind that by doing this you are erasing all the music and files from your iPod so make sure they are backed up on your computer somewhere. More on restoring your iPod can be found in the Apple document below.

7th gen iPod not showing up in Windows 8 anymore. Tried all the apple troubleshooting. Help?

I have tried all the 'Rs' that Apple recommend. As said, I can't hook up the iPod to my computer. I have tried to reset the iPod manually (holding the select and menu button) - but this doesn't work.
If there is another (manual) way to restore the iPod, I would love to hear about it.
As said: as for restoring the iPod - I can't get any contact with my iPod with my computer at all.

Updated iTunes and iPod software iPod not showing up under devices in iTunes

Updated software since computer said there were updates. Now I'm having trouble with iPod not showing up under devices. Have gone through all the steps under troubleshooting. Nothing helped. Had this same problem periodically in the past, as well. Itunes also says I have an app I reinstalled today due to it not working properly, and it won't synch with iPod. (earlier today, iPod was showing up and synching properly, but this app wasn't getting downloaded to the iPod. Just shows up in iTunes. HAve tried restarting computer, iTunes and iPod, but no luck.

Thank you but I have tried this and it still does not show up. I even tried to delete itunes and reload it but the computer says that it is not able to delete itunes.

ITunes 11.0.3 not show art cover and not allow size

Hi everyone.
Since I´ve update for new release of Itunes i realize that is not showing the Art CD cover of my music on Ipod or Iphone neither on de music tracks nor Podcasts. Other fact that i´ve noticed is not possible to define the size of the player when show the "cover" instead shows the possible controls to do this using a mouse. I noticed using the Windows version. I´m not tested yet on the Mac version.
I beleive that is a bug. However, i´d like to confirm from Apple´s guys. Thanks for attention, patience (and sorry for my English mistakes)

    Hummm, i think - for me - it´s not a solution. I noticed that if you click and hold on the small music symbol and drag and drop on a open browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome, IE) ot opens the page and shows the image.
   OK, i can use for a Truly emergencial solution. However, i beleive not as good for podcasts (for example Tiesto) where change the images through the play the music.
   But, thanks a lot for your help, but i hope the Apple developers fix this as soon as possible.
   Another issue i´ve noticed is missing is when the music changes an fast pop up showed the name the music and artist. It disapeered on this new version.

IPod not showing up at all on Mac but works fine on Windows?

I've been searching for an answer on these discussion boards for hours and have not yet found any situation that was quite like mine and I'm getting a bit frazzled and worried.
I have a 120GB iPod classic, which I've used for two years with an ACER laptop and it works perfectly. Two months ago, I switched to a Macbook Pro and synced my iPod with it; again everything worked fine. My iPod was synced with the Mac and all the new music had been transferred.
Today, I've been trying to connect my iPod to my Mac but nothing happens. It only charges (and I can't even be sure that it IS charging because the charging green sign does not show up on the iPod). It does not show up in Finder, or in the iTunes source list; it does not sync. I've reset it a billion times, restarted my mac, switched USB cords and USB ports, even downloaded and installed every software update imaginable but nothing is working.
If I leave the iPod connected to the Mac for a while, something even more alarming happens. It connects for around 3 seconds, and then ejects itself repeatedly. It's like watching someone go insane.
Naturally, I freaked out and tried to connect the iPod to a PC and it is working perfectly on the PC. Please, someone help. I have no idea what's going on.

Did you download and install the latest version of ITunes over the existing installation?

My daughter's iPod not showing up in my devices.

Just started using the new updated iTunes. Wanted to remove my daughters iPod and move it to her own account on her own computer, but I can't find her iPod in my devices. I clicked on my account and went to manage devices, it tells me I have 5 devices associated with my account, but her iPod is not listed, nor is my other daughters iPod. iTunes knows the iPod is there because I was able to update it, it even knew it was "katie".
How do I proceed? How can I remove her iPod from my account?

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The an iPod appears under Devices in the sidebar.

Ipod not showing up as a drive on my windows vista pc

I just bought a new PC with windows vista OS. My ipod nano does not show up as an external drive. I have installed the new itunes and "transfered purchases". When I plug the USB cord in it shows up but only for a moment then disapears. I took it out then plugged it back in I could access it but no songs were there...then it disapeared again. Very strange.
