Ipod not syncing because of error message

I am getting an error message each time I try to sync that says that "Stuff you need to know part 3" step three was not copied to my ipod because it could not be found. Any idea of what I need to do now to locate it?

The message is saying that iTunes can find the file for  "Stuff you need to know part 3" can't be found.  Does (what ever it is, a song? podcast or what) play in iTunes?  Try deleting and redownloading.

  • New ipod not syncing to library - error message -69?

Just bought new ipod and it begins to sync with my existing library, but once it gets to the "K"'s it says it can't sync a particular song and then only syncs a tiny fraction of what it was syncing before the error message.
I thought it was a particular problem with the song, so I deleted the song. Then I deleted an entire artist. Then it had the same issue with the next artist in line alphabetically.

  • Ipod not recognized, getting odd error message

I've seen this posted a few times, but without any hints as to how to fix the problem.
I have a 4G 20GB iPod, just over a year old (meaning, no warranty), that has worked fine until this morning. I turned it on, and all of a sudden, it kept skipping through all of my songs, and wouldn't respond to the pause, play, etc. buttons.
I attached it to my computer via FireWire, and I keep getting this odd error message: "You have inserted a device that has no volumes that OSX can recognize" It asks me if I want to ignore, initialize, or eject the disc. I've been having it ignore it, or eject it (staying far away from initialization). After I ejected it, I noticed that all the songs on my iPod are now missing.
I reset the iPod, which didn't do much, and now I can't restore it, because neither the computer or iTunes recognizes my iPod. It shows up in Disk Utility, but I'm not entirely sure how to proceed.
What happened to my iPod? I can't seem to find anything in the Apple support pages that seems similar to my situation. Any suggestions on how to get the thing to work again?
Edit: I am using iTunes version 4.9; I have not updated to 5.0

This is the most frustrating tech trouble!
The same thing has happened to my iPod. It worked fine, then one day I plug it in and it says "Disc inserted is unreadable by this computer". As far as I remember, I didnt' update anything, make any changes, or adjust any settings to any of my hardware. SO WHAT HAPPENED?? And now I can't restore or doctor the iPod hardware bc my computer won't recognize it as actual hardware...
pleeeeease help, if anyone has a way to fix this.
The weirdest part, is that when I look at the information of the "unreadable hardware" it describes it with all the information, like how many gigs are available, how much space is used up, latest updates etc. So it can transfer information, but it pretends its unreadable? i dont understand.

  • Ipod not recognized in itunes, error message: repair disk

When I connect my ipod to my mac I get an error message saying my mac cannot repair the disk, its asking me to back up the disk and reformat asap.  My ipod is not being recognized in itunes but it is in the finder.  help!

Thank you so much for trying to help.  When I tried to do that, I got this error message when I tried to verify and repair the disk:
Error: Disk Utility can’t repair this disk. Back up as many of your files as possible, reformat the disk, and restore your backed-up files.
How do you go about doing that ^ as in reformating the disk (all of my music is backed up to a hardrive already)  Or should I just try and erase the info on my ipod?
    Thanks for your help!!!!

  • Isync spinning forever, not syncing, but no error messages

    I have a problem:
Isync spins continually and won't sync from my main laptop Macbook (which also is set to sync to Nokia E61 and also won't).
There are no errors given, just continuous spinning "syncing" but not doing anything. Have to cancel sync every time.
Happened since updating to 10.4.9 which contains native plugins for Nokia E61.
Previously I tried a couple of plugins that worked on previous 10.4.8 and below.
I have uninstalled these plugins (to the best of my knowledge.
I have unpaired and reset devices on isync repeatidly.
I have unregistered and registered computer on .mac.
I have tried to reset .mac sync, but just does the spinning thing.
I have done everything and am at my wit's end!
    Please, please help!

That is precisely what my mid-2010 MacBoook Pro 13 was doing before the drive finally died after an Apple Genius rebooted it a dozen or so times. I have since read about the exact same thing happening to others, including a writer for The Atlantic magazine who had never had an issue with a Mac before. Do a back-up ASAP to make sure you don't lose anything and see about replacing the HDD. It is only about $140 for a new drive. The real issue is if you lose your data, too. So, make sure you do that back-up!

My Time Capsule has stopped backing up.
I have an Apple Time Capsule which backs up by wireless. For the last 3 days it has not backed up. I get this message:
"The backup was not performed because an error occurred while copying files to the backup disk."
I have gone into Mac Help and followed this down to stage 4:
under shared it lists my time capsule and my husband's iMac - both use the time machine but we have switched his off temporarily.  Clicking on my Time capsule I get "Connected" and "Sharepoint" - I didn't have to enter connect or password
I don't understand stage 5: how and where do I select the disk or volume that contains Time Machine backups ?  How do I know which it is? My disk utility lists 160.04 TOSHIBA MK... with sub-heading Macintosh HD.  It also lists (with a "CD" icon) HL-DT-ST DVDRW GS22N
Under stage 6, how and where do I Locate your backup ? I try dragging my Time capsule from Finder to the Disk Utility side panel but it won't go.  What is my computer's name?
Please someone help!  I'm completely stumped.
    Thanks,
    Maggie
    Mac Help says:
If you back up to a Time Capsule or network disk:
Open the Time Machine pane of System Preferences, and slide the switch to Off.
    Open Time Machine preferences
Open Disk Utility, which is in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder.
    Open Disk Utility
Make sure the Time Capsule or network disk is turned on and available.
Open a Finder window, select your Time Capsule or network disk in the Shared section of the sidebar, and click Connect. If necessary, enter your user name and password.
On the Time Capsule or network disk, select the disk or volume that contains Time Machine backups. Depending on how your Time Capsule is set up, there may be one or more disks or volumes.
Locate your backup, and drag it to the Disk Utility sidebar. You can identify your backup by looking for your computer’s name in the backup’s filename.
