IPod not syncing outlook 2010 calendar

My iPod touch (generation 3) won't sync my outlook calendar. It was working fine for 6 months and now it doesn't. Very frustrating. I have restored iPod, checked the calendar options off and on. Not sure what else to do. Help please.

I have the same issue, but with Outlook 2007. My 3G iPod Touch has been working fine for months, but no longer will sync after an iTunes update about two weeks ago. Backup works, and music and contacts sync just fine, but not the Calendar.
Would appreciate some suggestions. I've tried different settings to no avail.

You would sync Outlook via iTunes on the computer. Connect the iPhone to the computer, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes running, select the iPhone in iTunes and it will display the Summary page. Select the Info tab, and there you would select what you want to sync calendar and contacts to. Make sure since this is the first time you have done a sync that whichever of the devices is new to the sync process has at least one unique contact/calendar event to get iTunes to prompt you for a merge or replacement. Sync Outlook 2010 calendar with my iPad using iTunes 11.1.3.8 : only from PC to iPad is working !

Using iTunes 11.1.3.8 to syn my Mini Ipad with my PC running Windows 8 and Outlook 2010 : Calendar is only synchronizing in one direction (from PC to Mini iPäd). All calendar entries done on my Mini iPad are NOT appearing in Outlook 2010, while all entries made in Outlook 2010 are correctly appearing on the Mini iPad. Has somebody ideas how to configure ? (I didn't find any parameter for the synchronization directions in iTunes ?). Thank you.

I am having the same issue on "There is no indication that syncing calendars is even an option in iTunes, and there used to be! (not happy right now)"
My MacBook Pro running on OS X 10.9.1 won't even sync calendar with my iPhone right now.

Can't sync Outlook 2010 calendar using DM 6

Hi, This is my first time on the forum. I have searched for similar issues and tried some suggestions, but am still having issues. I get "BlackBerry Desktop Software has encountered a problem and needs to close" error message trying to sync to Outlook 2010 address book using DM 6. When I press debug to get more info, I get the error "Rim.Desktop.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" and then it shuts down. I have narrowed it to just my address book. My notes, calendar, and tasks sync fine. I thought it may be some rich text (hyperlinks, etc.) in the notes of contacts and disabled the link of the body to notes in the advanced options, but it still crashes. Looking for some help on next steps. asrjcb

I would recommend downloading and installig the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager. This now has support for Microsoft Outlook 2010 64-bit.

Why iphone4 will not sync outlook 2007 calendar

Since I recently updated my iphone4 and itunes to the most recent versions, my outlook 2007 calendar will not sync. What can I do to fix this?

TS4118 I have synced outlook 2010 calendar with icloud, But....

I now have 2 calendars; the outlook default personal .pst with no data and my icloud with everything in it. If I create an appointment in the default calendar it does not sync to my iOS devices, and no appointments/tasks appear in the to do bar as they are all in icloud which isnt the default. If it is then imap mail accounts don't work. So I actually have to duplicate all appointments to get both things working!!
It would seem to be that these are pretty fundemental bugs. I want 1 calendar on my windows PC that syncs everything to my iPhone and iPad ..... does such a possibility exist? is Apple working on fixing these bugs.......any thoughts?

Are you sure you are going about this the right way? Where are you seeing their names with the '!'?
Go to your calendars at http://icloud.com and click on the Share icon for the calendar in question:
In the pop-up pane choose 'Private Calendar' and enter the @me.com email address, hit return and then click 'View and Edit' to set write privileges:
Click 'Share'.
If this is what you are doing and it's not working, please describe exactly what happens (screenshot if possible).

Desktop Manager 5.0.1.18 will not sync outlook 2007 calendar

Since I have upgraded to Desktop Manger 5.0.1.18, my Storm will not sync with my Outlook 2007 calendar.   It is still syncing memopad, address book and task.
Any suggestions?

Since you've given us zero indications of what, exactly, goes on (what it tries, where it fails, error messages, etc.), we have nothing to go on. Hence, I can only suggest starting over using the following steps (insert plenty of reboots of your PC...not just restarts, but full power down reboots). Also, it is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything.
1) Remove your device OS update package from your PC (add/remove programs)
2) Cleanly uninstall the RIM DTM software:

3) Get a fresh download of the RIM DTM software:

Choose the version that is newest and (if applicable) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):

4) Download (to your PC) a fresh copy of your device OS package from your carrier:

5) Install DTM to your PC
6) Install (also to your PC), the device OS package
7) Start the organizer configuration over:

Can't Sync Outlook 2010 Calendar with BB Bold

I am trying to do a one way sync from the computer to the phone using USB and the Desktop Manager software. I have followed the help guides but when I am finsished, one of two things occur. Either the calendar on my phone is still empty or I get the following message:
"A program error occured at line 1041 in c:\hudson\jobs\rim7.1\workspace\rsutils\rectrans\rstol\rstoloom\OIAccess.h Please report this error by sending a log to technical support."
I can't even find a way to use my phone or the software to send the log. Do I need to re-install something in my phone? Help.

It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.

Sending logs to BlackBerry is a matter of obtaining formal support and escalation up to BlackBerry. That starts with your mobile service provider, who can escalate you up to BlackBerry, who could then provide you a method to send them the logs.

Syncing Outlook 2010 Calendar with iPhone 4

I'm trying to sync my calendar in outlook with the phone.
When I go into Itunes > the "Info" tab for my phone and checkmark Sync Calendar with Outlook and hit apply I get a pop up that says
" Are you sure you want to remove 53 apps, inlcuding....from the iPhone? This will delete these apps and their data from the iPhone"y
Obviously I don't want to delete the apps or have to re-install them. Is there something I'm missing? Anything I can do to prevent deleting apps just to sync a calendar?

Have you transferred your purchases from the iPhone to the computer? If the apps are on the computer, while they will be deleted from the iPhone, they will be added right back. This is what happens if you have never synced with the computer before and change settings.

MS Outlook 2010 calendar not syncing with iPad and iPhone

My iPad and iPhone sync perfectly in iCloud. However, using MS Outlook 2010 Calendars they do not sync. I have deleted and reinstalled iCloud with my PC but still no results. Even though iCloud shows up in my Calendar, any additions or deletions in that Calendar do not show up on my iPhone or iPad. Can you help?

First check your default services on the device under Options, Advanced Options, default services.

Is there an incompatibility between iPad2 and outlook 2010 calendar? I can sync appts down to the device but not up to the computer calendar.

Would you know whether there is an incompatibility between iPad2 and outlook 2010 calendar? I can sync outlook appointmens down to the device but not up to the computer calendar. The same occurs with my iPhone 4, can sync appointments down to the device, but not back up to the computer. Any help appreciated!

Most computer's USB ports do not have enough power to charge iPads while they are active. An iPad will charge while in sleep mode, but very slowly.

HT1296 Events entered in my iPhone 3GS will no longer sync to my Outlook 2010 calendar - what's up?

Some change in iOS I suppose makes it so events entered in my iPhone 3GS will no longer populate my Outlook 2010 calendar when I sync the devices through iTunes. It used to be that events entered in each place would populate the other locationg when synced. No longer!

Ok, I'm assuming everyone who is having trouble with Windows 7 (64-bit? mine is) has tried the following solution I found over at en.kioskea.net posted by a guy called Steve78545 (hey, you got to give a dude his due).
It's maybe because Windows 7 uses a MTP driver instead of the USBAAPL by default, and what you need is an 'Apple Mobile Device USB Driver' which you might not have in 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers' (check it and see). If you haven't got it, as good ol' Steve78545 suggested:
Update the driver by expanding 'Portable Devices' from the list, right click Apple iPhone/iPhone and select 'Update Driver Software'. Then select 'Browse My computer...'
Copy the following path and paste it in - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers - then hit 'Next'.
Let the thing do it's...thing an it should work. At least it did for me, so I hope it helps a few people out!

I have a corporate iphone5 and I need to sync Note with Note in Outlook 2010 on my private PC running W7 .
I tried several times following indications on the site without results.
Would like to avoid icloud.

If you change the default calendar to your Gmail® calendar, are you able to synchronize those appointments? Do you have wireless synchronization enabled for your Gmail® calendar? If so, the wireless synchronization would have to be disabled in your calendar options in order to synchronize via USB cable. This KB article provides more information. Only the calendar that is set as the default on your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9700 smartphone will synchronize with Microsoft® Outlook®. If you wish to synchronize both calendars with Microsoft® Outlook® you can merge the two calendars on your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9700 smartphone into one by following the steps in this KB article.
