Ipod on iphone issue

I.ve been having a problem with my music player on my iphone for about a month now.
Sometimes when im playing music on it it automatically stops playing and then some times it starts back after a couple of seconds or so. its very randomly but when it starts doing it it just keep stopping and starting again. Its very annoying ive rebooted my whole iphone once alrdy becuz of this issue but it started again. it doesnt do it with only one song btw but with all my songs. dunno if this is a common problem with iphone users.
I hope someone can help or have any advise.

i've had this problem, but only when my headphones are plugged in. try removing your headphones and see if your music plays fine.
also, do you have shake to shuffle turned on? you can disable it if you don't want it by going to "settings -> iPod".
if it's still going on, try playing the songs in iTunes. if the music plays fine there, delete everything from your iPhone and then resync it and see if that helps.

I have an ipod & an iphone. The iphone is mine though and my daughter has the ipod of course for just games and music. I am having issues when I hook up to Itunes, it wanted at first to add all my apps to her ipod & add all her games on mine. So I figured out a solution instead of her using my email address, I set her up one of her own. I also set her up an apple ID & password. Now, my only problem is that it won't let her update her apps without asking for MY email address, even though on her itunes store, it shoes her apple ID as her email address and not mine. Now on my Iphone, my email address is the same, but, it says my security code on my account is invalid. I've had the same credit card on the account every since I had the phone, never had any problems with it till now. I add another card, and still says any number I add is invalid. So I really do NEED HELP! I have sent out an email to the App store itself to see if they could help me, but of course that takes 48 hours! I have 6 updates and I can't update mine bec of a security code & hers won't bec of email issues. Any help would be very appreciated! THANKS.

- Apps are permanently locked to the account that purchased them. You have to log into that account to update the apps. If you have apps that need update from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased form one account. Apps can't be moved form one account to another.

Is there another bug fix coming soon. IpadAir, iPod and iPhone are still having many, many issues even with the last update. IOS8 has been a disaste!

I am having the same issues with my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 not mounting within iTunes every since the iTunes update. I know my USB is working but this is crazy. Create iPod or iPhone Version not working correctly

When I select an MP4 movie and then choose Advanced -> Create iPod or iPhone Version, the movie is converted and a new version is created, but they don't work correctly. In two cases, the resulting file has audio, but the video is missing (just white). With another file, the video is there but the audio is missing. How can I troubleshoot this and get the videos converted properly so I can play them on my iPod?

I have the same problem. Running Win 8 64Bit, updated to latest ITunes and now will not recognize phone or pad. Followed all advice from Apple (uninstall/restart/re-install, all in exact order) ... nothing. Spoke with Apple tech and walked through the whole process, but no resolution. Tech was trying to be helpful but has no way of addressing issue.

After update to 10.5.3.3 Itunes crashes on convert video to ipod or iphone version and diagnostics

I upgraded to Itunes 10.5.3.3 today since the dialog box appeared and now it crashes when I select a podcast and create ipod or iphone version from the advanced menu item. I tried running Diagonostics from the Help menu item and it also crashes. Using IPhone 4S.

Your issues are mostly likely related to the issues reported in the thread http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1542886&tstart=0.
For myself, the solution was to install an updated version of ClamAV. Since I'd done this prior to the 10.5.4 release, I can't comment on whether an update will solve your issue (although I doubt it would, since the update didn't mess with my ClamAV settings).

Will iTunes support an iPod and iPhone that uses the same computer?

I'm curious to know if Apple has/will take into consideration that many people who will purchase the iPhone, will make the purchase as an addition to their Apple perepherals and not a substitution. Meaning, the iPhone will not replace the iPod as their portable music player. As I understand, Apple has set copyright guidelines to how many iPods one can assign to an individual player, and how many iPods one could transfer files to, to only 1 player. My question is, is Apple going to allow file transfers to both the iPod and iPhone when the user syncs from their computer? I want to purchase the iPhone upon release, but I would reconsider if I was unable to listen to music on both my iPod and iPhone.

Nobody knows how it will interact. Probably just like an iPod does now. You can have multiple iPods for syncing to one computer, each receiving different content. So there shouldn't be any issue there.
By the way, the authorization limit is number of computers not iPods. There has been cases here of whole families with each person having one sometimes two iPods.

Importing photos from classic iPod or iPhone into iPhoto

My students are bringing in photos stored on their classic iPods or iPhones to import into iPhoto for use in their multimedia projects using either iMovie or iDVD. Some iPods and iPhones are not being recognized (no icon on the desktop) by the iMac when the USB cords are connected. The screen flashes "Do Not Disconnect" on the iPod or an error box appears saying something about only being able to sync to one library. I tried my daughters iPod and when I did the sync the photos were removed from her iPod. How can I get these great images into my students iMovie or iDVD projects without wiping out the photos from their iPod. Please help Thanks!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. There are some 3rd party applications for copying photos from an iPod to a Mac. See this search result at VersionTracker.com.
Also ask in the iPod and iPhone forums. I think you'll get more users there who have addressed that issue there.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

iTunes Radio is not yet available in Canada.
According to this Apple Support page, it is currently only available in the US and Australia which is revealed half-way down the page, between the two matrices.
For those with an aversion to scrolling, or with TL;DR issues, simply ⌘-F "iTunes Radio availability by country".
