Ipod options button...it is not there

I just got an ipod nano, to use it I had to download the itunes 7. I am trying to set it up so I only have my music to run to on the nano. I also have a 40gb click wheel. Everything I have read to deal with 2 ipods on the same computer tell me to click the option button on the bottom right hand corner when the ipod is connected. My problem is that the only button at the bottom right hand corner is the ipod eject button. Any suggestions. I would like to have both ipods to auto sync instead of manual sync. Thanks, Lisa

On the ipods new "ipod summery" page in iTUnes 7, select the "Music" tab at top. Here you can select "Auto update SELECT" and then pick the playlist you want to update to it. Once done hit "Apply" in the lower righthand corner.

Googling the model number shows that it was officially sold in Saudia Arabia. SA is one of the countries that prohibit FT and it does not appear on the iPod. Even restoring/updating the iPOd in a non-prohibited countriy will not make it appear. It is locked to either the model number or SN. Sorry.

Missing iPod options button

Page 22 of the iPod Features Guide shows the iPod Options button. Another Macintosh document states that this button is supposed to be in the bottom right corner of the iTunes window.
Mine is gone! All I have in that corner is the eject button. I am trying to modify my documents filed in my Nano, which I now use as a hard drive, and must supposedly click this button to continue in the process.

There is no Options button in iTunes 7, the guide is describing iTunes 6. The Options button took you to the iPod preferences. If you need to change a setting on the iPod in iTunes 7, click on it's icon in the iTunes source pane, this will bring up the preference tabs in the main pane to the right. Share Buttons on Issuu not there but ok in Safari

This and a previous post on Gadgets missing on Google Sites in edit mode are related to recent FF updates. Just noticed this with Issuu.com. There should be a Follow button and a range of other buttons for social sharing and adding to Issuu.com stacks. Works on Safari! Cookies deleted, Flash updated and still not there. Regregettably, I am going to move back to Safari because too many things have gone wrong with FF since update 22!

Sign-in to your google account at the bottom of the web page (note: it might take several attempts in FF which is another new issue I forgot to mention as it should be a single step as before). Once signed in, you will see the edit pencil at the top of page, click in an area of the page, then choose Insert and More which give you a selection of Gadgets menu, Try Public and search for iFrame (as an example). You will get a white gadget box on the page. Click it and choose settings and add a website. When you close the editing you will still have the edit tools available and you should see the contents of the iFrame just as it is if you signed-out and viewed it as a member of the public. Hope it generates the same issue I have.

History, option button, addins page not working

My history has stopped working, the options button on the toolbar doesn't work and I can't see any add-ons listed at all even ones I haven't installed

Buy all option in Wish Lists not there

I checked the Apple's website and it states in Wish Lists there is a buy all option. I don't have that option? Anyone else have this problem and know of a fix?

sabfa, if you are in Canada, for some reason Apple does not have that option for you. It is noted on the 3rd line from the bottom here

I don't need a rant about how this is unfair to Canadians. I have no idea why it is so. Just pointing out that it is. And if you're not in Canada, I don't know why you don't have that Buy All button.

Auto signature setup option on email menu not there ...

according to the phones menu and the cd menu i am supposed to be able to set up e-mail auto signature via entering a message list, then click menu, click email settings, set use auto signature to YES and type in my auto signature. that would be great but on my 8320 curve the use auto signature option is missing. any ideas on how to fix this?

Log on to your carrier's BIS site. Once logges in then go to Email Accounts under Settings menu on the left. Under each Valid Email Account you'll find your desired mail ID, click on Edit button and go to signature and change/type in your message.

Burn Disc button at bottom not there

Howcome I do not have a "Burn Disc" button on the lower right hand corner of my itunes window? I tried to set up to burn a disc and that button does not appear which makes it a little difficukt to burn CD's. I have downloaded the most recent version of itunes and still nothing.

Have you created a playlist to burn a CD from? The burn CD button is only present and visible in a playlist you wouldn't have one in the main library view because you can't burn a CD from the library: iTunes for Windows - Creating your own audio CDs

I was updating ipod touch to new iOS5 and it told me that all data would be lost with update and to put it oon computer, but update not there. How do i update with out this happening?

I am looking for some help with updating to iOS5, i downloaded to computer to avoid losing data on ipod touch but update was not there. I've done three times and same result. If I have all music on usb drive will I be able to reupload it after update, or is there another way to do it by transferring my music from ipod touch to computer and the re-installing in itunes. Alot of the music I have is copied off of discs and not from itune purchases. Any help will be greatly appreciated and my computer skills are satisfactory but I am by no means a computer guru. As all of the msuic came from your computer in the first place it should still be there. Is it not?
EVERYTHING on your ipod should also be on your computer and should be included in your regular backup copy of your computer.
Make sure that everything is on your computer. You can transfer itunes purchases from the ipod. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases.
When everything is on your computer, then it can be synced back to the ipod after updating.

Trying to sync my iPod nano (6Gb) for the first time to my laptop (Windows 7). When I toggle the "iPod sync" button I do not get the "apply" button to start the sync. Why?

I have a 27" iMac with the latest version of iTunes. I tried restoring my iPod and even removing and re-installing iTunes. What eventually worked for me was plugging into my PC and restoring/reformatting it to work with my PC. I don't know why it wouldn't work with my iMac, but now it seems to be working.

Album artwork for songs is sometimes not there

it changes from time to time, but the album artwork on my computer remains correct but when i sync my ipod touch it sometimes is not there or is some other image, like a screen shot from a random video or a different artwork.
Please tell me how to fix this and if anyone else experiences this

I'm not seeing my Options button for keeping iPod in Source list

I've recently bought an iPod Shuffle which is working fine. However I do have one problem - in the User Guide it states that iTunes can be set to keep iPod Shuffle in the Source list when it isn't connected. I want to do just that but can't!
Guide tells you to select iPod Shufle in the Source list and click the Options button. My problem is that I don't see an Options button when I click the iPod icon!
In the guide it looks like I should see a panel of 4 buttons - an iPod icon, a what looks like an equaliser icon, then what I can only describe as a flower icon and then the eject iPod icon. But I'm not seeing it!
I'm getting very frustrated now, I've downloaded the latest iTunes software and I've looked on the help pages but nothing has helped.
Please can some kind soul tell me how I can find this Options button. Many thanks! Ruth
