IPod recall: US iPod sent off in the UK - Volume capped upon return?
As the subject says, my iPod was purchased in the US and I am based in the UK and as I understand it if I send it off to be repaired I won't be getting the same one back so does that mean I'll be getting an EU volume capped one? Cus that would be sucky!

I can't find a phone number that relates to this directly, but you can try calling AppleCare to determine where to contact. If you didn't make a copy of the return info with the iPod's serial number at a minimum, you will probably have a hard time running this down.

Plug your device in
In itunes on the left hand side click on the Disclosure triangle - it will show your playlists from your device
Right click on each playlist and click Export-
After exporting them to your comptuer you can import those playlists in to itunes -

Cant get ipod music off of the ipod to burn a cd.

IPod switches off when the light goes off.
When I play music in the car on my Nano, I switch it on, using shuffle. After 40 seconds or so the light of the Nano goes off and the music switches off. I restart it sometimes 8 or 9 times. Suddenly it continues to play, also for a 3 hour drive and doesn't switch off again.
I can find no explanation for this. Any ideas?Hi Jackie 1,

Verify that you have firmly connected the headphones to the headphone jack on your iPod nano. The cable should be flush against the iPod with no visible gap.

it is urgent that i find out how to change these settings otherwise i will be forced to make a complaint. I have never had to make these questions previsouly and never had i had this much trouble just trying to recieve an email to fix the issue
How did you contact iTunes support, and you've checked your spam as well as your Inbox ?
If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

The music player always reverts back to where I started the day before at a low volume and it's driving me mad! On a previous phone with earlier IOS there was the option to play from where the track left off when stopped - how do I find this option now?
If you click on the column headings in iTunes it will sort the tracks by the column you have selected.
Try clicking on the Album column, this should then put the tracks in the right order. You probably have the Track column selected which will keep the tracks in alphabetical order by Track name.

I was updating my iPod touch 4g to the ios6 and it told me to hook it up to the iTunes and so I did. After doing that the computer told me to restore I tried and it didn't work. My ipod then was Turing on and off displaying the apple icon then my screen turned white with rainbow colors going down the screen then at some point my ipod had a multi colored blue screen.
