Ipod restarts when I try to alter the volume

If I've been listening to something on the ipod for more than a few minutes and then try to alter the volume, the ipod will restart itself (screen goes black then Apple logo appears, all takes about 20 seconds which is rather annoying). Any ideas as to how to stop this happening? I have tried restoring the ipod but doesn't seem to have done the trick.

Have you tried giving it a reset? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple let go and let it reboot and see if htat helps.

Though I have doubts for success, you might try a SMC reset. It can do no harm. Otherwise, barring suggestions from others, the Apple Store or qualified repair facility is the last option.

Try resetting the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple Logo appears on the screen. Ignore the red slider if it shows up. You will lose no data.

When I try to alter the fill on a button symbol it crashes FW. Ideas?

This happens after I've created a file, closed it, then reopened it, and try to alter the original button symbol. I click on the fill icon, and wham! Down goes Fireworks. I end up having to recreate the button and replacing what I've done previously.

I had this problem too and my roommate solved it!
Go to 'Settings'
'Music'
Scroll to the bottom and enter your password to log onto your home sharing
Then connect to iTunes and sync!

I have called the Apple Service number and they tell me to do everything that the the Tech's at the Apple Service center stores tried to do but DID NOT work.
After I spend a lot of time on the phone, I get told to make an appointment at a Apple Service center store so they can physically have hands on assistance. Come on folks I have already done that and they were of no help. When I say that, I get told that may be the only way I can get the problem resolved.
Surely there is someone out there that knows something about what is happening OR not happening with my iPod and provide a solution.

I own 2 ipods an ipod nano series 4 and ipod series 6 I want to store different tunmes on each ipod, but when I try to sync the series 4 with I tunes I get a message that says there is not enough space on my device. How do I achieve what I want?

It would be useful to you if they had a different name, but the computer knows they are different. Create separate sync playlists for each device and go to the Music tab when it is connected and specify which playlist should be used for the sync.

My sound for music and apps is not working. when i try to turn the volume up it says "Sound Effects" ...Anyway to fix?

Try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod

Problem when I try to download the IOS4 for my iPod Touch 2G

I am from Bella Vista, Buenos Aires, Argentina and I have the following problem:
I have an iPod Touch 2G, I installed the lastestversion of iTunes and every time i connect my device to my pc via usb, iTunes opens and a window apears telling to me that I can update it to IOS 4.0. I clic on Only Download (I want to download the new firmware and update later).
The download starts correctly, but in the middle of the download a error message appears. The window says that a problem occurred with the download, try again later. Error number: 9006 (Unknown).
Questions:
a)- if this error occurs in the middle of the download... Why does not iTunes prompt me an option to continue the current download when I try to do it the next time? (I have to start a new download again when I try to download the firmware again. The firmware size is 300 mb. The error window only shows me an OK button and the transfer is interrupted. When I try to download the firmware again, the download should continue from the part where was interrupted, no start all again. Apple should fix this issue). I have to tell you that I tried several times downloading the firmware and I always got this error window and I really HATE it. Please, gime me a solution for my problem and try to fix the issue that I showed above. (When I'm downloading a firmware version from iTunes and the download is interrupted by a "X" problem or error, when I try to download it again, the download should continue from the part where it was interrupted, no start all again). We have to protest for it.
If an error occurs with the download and we want to try again, the download MUST continue from the part where was interrupted, no start all again. We have to protest for it. Please, Apple Inc, try to fix it. It's very easy to do. If I am downloading a firmware version from iTunes and an error occurs with the download , you should put a button that reads "Continue the download from the interrupted part", no only a "OK" button that finishes the download and I have to start all again when I want to retry. Solve it, please.

Updated to Adobe Muse 2014 this morning and have worked in it for the last 8 hours. Now when I try to publish the updated site to Business Catalyst for my client to preview it crashes everytime. I have tried just publishing altered files only, then tried the whole site again, and then tried publishing as a new site altogether. Thought I would then try to export as HTML in the hope of uploading the files via an FTP client and Muse crashes and locks up again. I am extremely stressed about this as I am in the last few days of of website I have been working on now with no issues since December. We are due to go live and my client needs to see it. I am desperate for an answer. It is not looking good. I am on an Apple Mac and have not had any isses publishing it for the last 6 months. Not very happy to say the least. Need desperate help.

Hi Zak, I got onto Adobe Customer Care Live Chat this morning and gave them the error message. After some trouble shooting with them it appears the older archived file of the site still publishes. I have now reverted back to the old file and copied and pasted out of the new file and from some ideas given to me by support I am now able to publish to Business Catalyst. It seems there was something corrupt within the new pages added yesterday. I have no idea if this would have still happened if I hadn't updated but I am glad it wasn't a Muse specific problem. I am loving using Muse and the support from Adobe has been excellent. Thanks everyone. By the way I do love the new version and apart from this hick up that lost me a few hours, aged me some more and gave me grey hair I really love Muse. Thanks again.
