Ipod shows there is no music or video, but still has the same memory.
so basically, last night I hooked up my iPod and synced it to upload this new podcast I had. once it did, I turned off my computer and went to bed. When I got to bed, I went to listen to that podcast, and it wasn't there..nothing was there. I went to the about and it said "Music: 0 Video:0 Photos:2752" But then I looked at my available memory, and it said, "Capacity:74.3GB Available:23.4GB"
So I believe that all my music and videos are still inside my iPod, but my iPod isn't reading it..
Can anyone please help me? I really do not want to lose my whole libary..it isn't on my iTunes anymore..

Why not? You erased the iPod's backup!
Well, try this reset procedure...
1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. +You may need to repeat this step.+
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Allow at least a two-hour charge and repeat the above steps.

You'll want a separate iCloud account for each user in addition to the main Apple ID used for purchases.

On your individual Macs (or Mac accounts), use the main Apple ID in iTunes. Then, use the unique iCloud account in/for iCloud.
Now that everbody is using separate iCloud accounts for your contacts, calendars, and other things, it will be all be kept separate.
The only thing that is now 'shared' would be iTunes content (apps and other purchases), backups via iCloud (if enabled), and Photo Stream (if enabled). -

My version of Lightroom 6 is still showing trial version after Serial Number has been Installed.

(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".

In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

I sent my iPod Touch for repair, but it still has the same problems as when I sent it off. Help?
It started when my ipod suddenly stopped playing music. After I contacted support and tried just about every way to get my ipod fixed, I was eventually set up to have it shipped to apple for repairs. After two days, my ipod has returned with papers saying that the technicians at apple were unable to find anything wrong with it. The only problem is that it is still behaving the same way as it was before I sent it off, even though nothing was found to be wrong. My music still does not play and my apps will not sync. I decided to give a restore in recovery mode another shot, just to see if it would work, but the restore still only goes so far before the bar completely stops moving. Now, my ipod won't restore or come out of recovery mode, and I'm getting desperate. I thought having it sent off would fix all my problems, but nothing has changed. Please, can anyone help me? I don't know what to do anymore...

Recently when I try to play a video on Firefox I get the same message that I need to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. At least 5 times I have downloaded Adobe Flash Player 11 Active X and Adobe Flash Player Plugin 64 bit. Problem is that even though I have the latest version I still get the same message when I try to watch videos on Firefox. The frustrating thing is I can watch videos on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome as well as on Safari. How does that make sense?

I want to transfer music from my Ipod Touch to my car. I found out that I had to partition the Ipod to do this. I attached it to my PC with the USB cable but couldn't see it in the Disk Manager window. Googled why not and saw that I had to select Manually Videos in the Summary section on Itunes. This was already ticked off (selected) and still can;t see the Ipod icon in Disk Manager. What else can I do to partition this Ipod?

Run iTunes on your computer. Show your music library by Song in list view. Add the columns for Bit Rate, Kind, and iCloud Status to the list view.
Any song that is shown as Matched for iCloud Status, that is NOT already 256 kbps (or higher) for Bit Rate can be downloaded from iCloud at 256 kbps AAC. For example, if you have an old album from a music CD that you ripped years ago at 128 kbps MP3, and it is "matched" by iTunes Match, you can replace the lower quality files you have now with 256 kbps Match AAC audio file (which is shown for Kind).
To do so, select the song, or a set of songs, on the library list. Press Delete. Confirm you want to delete the song (but do NOT check the box to delete song from iCloud) and choose to move song file to the Trash. The songs remain on your iTunes library list, with a "cloud" download button next to the song name.
Click that button to download the song from iCloud. Because the song is Matched, you get the replacement as a 256 kbps AAC audio file, instead of the original 128 kbps MP3 file (or whatever lower quality format it was before).
You can go through your iTunes music library, and replace lower quality Matched songs with higher quality versions, thanks to iTunes Match. -

Try answering them at least once to see if you can get them right, even if you are not sure you remember the answers to your security questions.
If you are confident you can't remember them, try one of the following:
If you have three security questions and a rescue email address
sign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to send an email to your rescue email address to reset your security questions and answers.
If you have one security question and you know your Apple ID passwordsign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to reset your security question.
If you have one security question, but don't remember your Apple ID password
contact Apple Support for assistance. Learn more about creating a temporary support PIN to help Apple confirm your identity when you contact Apple Support.
Note: If you have forgotten your password and answer your security questions incorrectly too many times in a row, you will be unable to try to answer your security questions for a period of time. During that time you will not be able to reset your password and will not have access to your account.

I have an ipod touch that hasn't been used in a while. We want to use it now, but the screen says "ipod disabled. connect to itunes". When I connect to itunes it tells me to enter my passcode, however the ipod will not allow me to do anything (and I don't know the code anyway). I tried to put it in recovery mode as someone suggested by holding the home button while plugging the ipod up from the computer, but I never did get the "connect to itunes" symbol, I continually got the same screen saying "ipod disabled connect to itunes". Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

I have an existing Apple ID for my Ipod touch being used via my laptop. I just received an Iphone 4S as a replacement for my Blackberry Curve that broke, that goes through Verizon. Do I set up a separate Apple ID for the phone, and will it work with the same laptop? Can one computer work with two ID's and two different devices?

To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud too.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photosstream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
To avoid confusion when discussing your problem, when I mention iCloud, I am referring to the services under the iCloud login, Whereas I will refer to the whole cloud thing as The Cloud.
I suggest you each use a different ID for iCloud, whilst continuing to use the same ID for iTunes. -
I just upgraded my iMac to Yosemite. Now when in LR5 and try to edit a photo in PS CS5 I get error message 15. It says to uninstall and reinstall PS CS5. Done that and error is still there. I can open PS outside of LR but not inside. Any thoughts?
The first thing I would suggest is for you to go to the folder containing your catalog, using your system browser. There will be a folder that has the extension .lrdata. Delete that folder, and then try to start Lightroom. If that doesn't work, replace your catalog with your most recent backup.

Ipod totally wiped out but still has the name I named it
My sister plugged in her iPod onto the G4 kast night and this morning all the music has gone. It still had its name that i gave it and so i thought maybe it'd be okay. But the About bit says it has 36GB free so i guess not!! I read an article saying that the new iTunes deleted mp3s randomly. I had better back up mine now. Has this every happened to anyone? And is there a way of getting the music from the iPod back?
