IPod shuffle charger tip stuck in the hole

Hi! I really need help on my iPod shuffle. So the thing is I've been trying to charge it several times, but it seems to be not charging.Later on, I figured out that the charger tip broke and it is stuck inside the charging hole. I was able to open my iPod shuffle but I can't find a way to get the charger tip out of the hole. It turned out that there was no other hole on the other side of the hole to push the charger tip out. Any ideas on how to get that out? Please and thankyou.

Is it stuck in the side of the iPad or in the wall charger.
Take it to an Apple Store. Maybe they can remove.

  • HT4061 hello im in the navy deployed. i cracked my screen and some how managed to get the charger tip stuck inside my phone. i do have apple care how much is this going to cost to fix it and will they fix my iphone or send me a new one?

hello I'm Manuel Cruz im in the military and i am deployed i was wonder how much it would cost to get my IPHONE 5 fixed. i crack the screen and managed to get the charge tip stuck in my phone. i was also wonder if you would fix my device or send me a new one. Also wondering if there was a time frame on how long this would take?

If your phone was damaged by you  or in accidental damage, then you would be liable to pay for the repairs.  Apple does not offer "loaner" phones, but if you have a credit card, they will "advance ship" a replacement to you so you can get it, then return your damaged one to them and as long as they get it back within a resonable time and it is warranty covered damage, they do not charge you for the replacement iPhone, but they do charge you a fee for the advanced replacement option (about $40-80 USD IIRC).
You can eliminate all the at by making an appointment at a local AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) and they should be able to check your iPhone on the spot.  It it is covered under the warranty, they shoud replace it for free right there, and if not, they would let you know and you have the choice to make the repairs or not.

  • My ipod touch 3g is stuck on the connect to itunes screen.

My Ipod though 3g is stuck on the connect to itunes screen. When I connect it it tells me that it's locked and that I need to enter my passcode, but it's stuck on that screen so I can't.
I have tried restarting it AND resetting it multiple times and it is still stuck on that screen.
I don't know what else I can do.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Help!! things stuck in the hole where you plug in headsets

    omg..
i bought my itouch late 2009
and today i was trying to unplug the headset from the itouch
and half of the head of the headset stuck in the hole
i cant get it out and i cant plug in anything
    hellllp me
will they fix for me if i go to an ipod store or something ?
    hellp me plzzzzzzzz

Is the headset in question...an Apple headset? If so...that should be covered under warranty as long as you are within the warranty period. Your best bet would be to take your iPod Touch to the nearest Apple store and have a genius look at it.

  • Why won't my ipod shuffle charge in a portable USB charger?

Why won't my ipod shuffle charge in a portable USB charger?

Does the wall charger successfully charged other devices like iPad, iPhones?
There are some complaints,  that the 10W iPad wall charger does not charge iPod Classic, as it is too high power, Claasic need 1Amp max, but the iPad Charger gives 2 Amp.
    Have a nice day!

  • Does anyone know if a 3G iPod shuffle charger can charge an iPod Classic???

I just bought an iPod shuffle charger for my 3rd generation iPod shuffle and i was wondering if that charger will work for an ipod classic.

I think the confusion was because you stated "Charger" when what you were referring to was the Charging cable. From the apple support site http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3480:
These cables are compatible with the iPod shuffle (3rd generation) only and are required to charge or sync the iPod shuffle (3rd generation).
    Cheers

  • My 4th gen Ipod nano keeps getting stuck on the apple logo.

My 4th gen Ipod Nano keeps getting stuck on the Apple logo screen, this happens everytime I plug it in to charge. I plug it in, an apple logo comes up, and it stays like that the entire time its plugged in. To get it to unfreeze, i have to press random buttons and unplug and re plug in earbuds. After 20-25min of doing this it unfreezes and I come to find it has gotten little to no charge after being plugged in for hours at a time. Any one else have this problem, and if so what do you do?

This can be a corrupted software/firmware on your iPod touch. If the recovery mode you did was not forced, then try to force it into recovery mode. This is how:
    1. Force it to shut down (note: this sort of shut down should not be preformed unless you are in a situation like this because it is a hardware shutdown and will not attempt to unload software, save unsaved files, safely stop system processes, etc.) to do this, hold down the power/sleep button and home button for about 7 or 10 secs. Also I might be incorrect but I heard that you can just hold down the sleep and home button until the screen goes blank and then immediately let go.
    2. Have iTunes running. Hold down the home button and plug the USB cable that came with your iPod into it. Keep on holding on the home button until a picture of a USB cable going into the iTunes logo appears. You are now in a forced recovery mode. (In case your not so tech-savvy forced recovery is the same as a normal recovery mode that an iPod might do if it knows an update or restore failed.)
    3. iTunes should have shown a pop-up message about it found a iPod in recovery mode. Click OK, click your iPod from the sidebar and click restore. The iPod will show the apple logo for a while and iTunes will say "preparing iPod for restore" and then "waiting for iPod" this was the longest part of updates for me.
    4. iPod will reboot when restore is completed. When I update my iPod it one time showed the apple logo for one whole sync until it showed the slide to unlock screen, so do not worry. P.S if that does not work do a DFU mode restore ( I've been told DFU mode stands for device firmware update mode) I'm running out of room, so google it. Hope this helped ;)

Okay so my Ipod Touch is connected to my computer which has charged my ipod before. Now when i plug it in, my ipod doesnt charge unless i move the charger around. Should I get a new charger, or what?

I could be the cable or it could be that the connecor in the iPod is damaged.  If the iPod is the problem replacing the cable will not help.  Look at the dock connector on the iPod and the contacts on the cable.

  • My iPod Shuffle can't sync all the music in my playlist at once!

I have a two year old iPod shuffle and starting now, it can't sync all the content at once! It can only sync one song every time I press autofill. I don't want to restore it; it would take a long period of time. Please give me some tips on how to resolve this issue. Thank you!

Make sure that autosync is disabled in iTunes, connect to your new iTunes, right click on it in the device list and choose "transfer purchases" This will copy all apps and bought media to your computer.
After that, right click again, this time choose "backup" to save your app data and other settings.
Make sure to have at least one contact and event set up on your computer before your sync for the first time.
Your ipod will be erased, but you can restore it from the manual backup you made before.

  • 2nd Gen ipod shuffle charges on Mac but not on PC

I recently switched from Mac to PC and my 2nd-Gen ipod shuffle won't charge on PC.  The PC reads my shuffle and I'm able to transfer music from itunes, however the battery light indicator doesn't glow.  In order to charge the battery, I have to plug my ipod back to my macbook which is inconvenient.  Btw, I connect my ipod to the PC with USB 3.0 port..I have windows 7 if that's any help..  Suggestions anyone?

Also, take a look on iTunes if the battery icon is showing that the unit is in charge. Because if you're able to transfert music on it, there's no choice, there's must be electricity on it.
