IPod simultaneously on HDTV and Mini

I have a Mini connected to a HDTV and want to use with iPod 5th gen.
So,
I create a presentation in iLife then move files to 5th Gen using Dock. The dock has a video out when used with the HDTV but not connected to the Mini via USB.
Is there a way to use the remote to the iPod with Video out through dock when ejected on Mini after USB download ?

I am not sure I understand what you are saying.
Are you saying you want to use the remote that came with the Mac mini with the iPod? Did you create a movie and put that on the iPod? iLife is a suite of applications. Which application did you use?

As it should have been transferred to your computer when you synced, you can contact itunes support and ask for an exception.

The mini dvi on the MacBook will only support video, in order to get audio you'll need to a cable from the sound out port to the sound in port on the TV.

So it's the little thin ipod with no screen...that has the usb thing and the landyard. Whenever I try restoring it it tries to restore and then a message pops up. new mac mini connected to sony bravia hdtv and picture works, but sound doesn't and trying to select the tv in sound setup doesn't work

tried this but no luck. The soumnd control won't let me choose the TV - it defaults back to the headphone option for my external speakers. Decided that I wasn't satisfied with the size of the computer desktop on the
TV format anyway, so returned the cable.

Plugged in my friends ipod and mine disappeared

I recently plugged in my friends ipod (nano) into my computer and it shows in itunes. Then I unpligged his, plugged in mine and mine now shows up as an external E; drive. His ipod still shown in my itunes, it is unplugged. Now my ipod spinns around real fast and shows his songs on it. I had a ipod nano 5th geberation and used to set the timer for 30 min to fall asleep with the radio.

I just got an iPad mini and would like to sync with old and wheezy ipod touch, but I can't
seem to find out how.

Can anyone tell me if the MacBook Pro will take simultaneous video feeds through the firewire and mini DVI ports. I want to do live video mixing using USTREAM or BoinxTV.

Not sure how relevant this is , but I decided to experiment and can certainly simultaneously view digital video coming in from my FW camcorder and my USB Elgato DDT TV, so you could certainly "get the stuff in there" at the same time using a mixture of FW and USB. Never tried to mix them, though!
