Ipod sync is bad

my ipod classic has never made a good sync. it does only sync a few songs at a time, no matter if it is manually or not. i have to push the sync button many, many, many times before it is done. it only sync mmmm, like 100 MB at once.
and now, it isn't synchronising the entire library, i have on my pc 4356 songs and no matter i do, there are only 4340 on the ipod, i can't even know wich ones are missing. i am really angry for this.
i already made the five r's and even uninstalled itunes but it worked for nothing.
i have the 7.5 version and beg for help

Yes, delete the iPod Cache. iPhoto will recreate it next time you sync, and hopefully build it better.

Most Windows users don't.
Purchase an external hard drive and use the backup software that comes with it to backup files from your computer.
Buy TouchCopy and install it on your new computer, connect your old iPod and transfer your songs to your computer.

I am absolutely lost trying to change the Itunes library that my Ipod syncs with. Had a hardware meltdown and have found abouut half my music files on system hard drives AND my Ipod if safe but cannot figure out two things. A. How to get the content of the Ipod transferred to my new Itunes library B. SInce I cannot find my correct Itunes library (i believe that it is lost for good)I started a new one but it will not sync with my Ipod as it says that it is supposed to sync witht he lost version. ** If anyone can help me would greatly be appreciated. You can sync with onee at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

Ipod syncing problems...?

Im having several ipod syncing problems. I have an Ipod touch, 4th gen with the standard USB cable that comes with to charge it and sync it with. Today, i plugged it into my computer like normal to sync some new songs onto it from itunes. But, it started acting up. First, it kept syncing on and off, and the sync sound wouldnt stop- it wouldnt stay synced. then, later, when it finally did, not long after it said "this device does not support charging," and itunes didnt recognize my ipod anymore, so i couldnt sync my songs. is there any way i can fix this? thanks in advance.

Ipod sync issues with itunes 11

My classic iPod syncs very slowly with iTunes 11, it starts out syncing (2 songs) & then just "sits" with no progress.
iPod sofware is up to date, version 1.1.2.

I figured out how to put it in recovery mode and I'm starting over, this ipod is more work than it's worth.

-When following steps, sync completes by corrupting all music files on the iPod Touch and not syncing altered/changed/added/removed/edited music with iPod.
-All music is either not shown or greyed out/inaccessible.
-When tapping a seemingly accessible song after sync, song immediately skips to next seemingly playable song. This process repeats until all songs are skipped. After the song is skipped, the song is grayed out/inaccessible. A download circle eventually shows showing the process of downloading the music file again. The file is never downloaded and remains stuck at 0% downloaded.
-Music purchased from iTunes is shown as downloadable and will download properly from iTunes if clicked on

No I wasn't. To be honest I have essentially given up as even if I can fix it, disk space is cheaper than life is long!
Using the NAS in general is no problem. In fact, once iTunes got beyond the initial working out of what needed to be removed from and copied to the iPod, having all my MP3s on the NAS and copying direct to the iPod was no issue.
Following some sage (and frankly scary!) advice at ilounge (http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=163611), I've decided to keep two copies of my MP3s. The fact that my fiendish NAS plan has failed is hurting more than the not-all-that-traumatic reality of duplicating 140GB of files if truth be told!

5th generation iPod Nano - iPod syncs with my iTunes and I can see it in iTunes, but when I try to move a song from my iTunes to the iPod I get an error message "Cannot by synced, Unknown error occurred (1039). System works fine with my 4th generation iPod Nano. I'm afraid to "RESET" my iPod because I may not be able to restore my music and videos afterwards.

Unable to check/uncheck older podcast episodes in iPod sync to iTunes 11.0

Hi,
I have a few podcasts in my iTunes where I have saved a large number of episodes. Now I have upgraded to the new version of iTunes I unable to check/uncheck older podcast episodes from iPod syncing - the finder window won't scroll to the bottom of the list, and just 'bounces' after scrolling past a certain number!
Not sure if this is a bug, or I'm overlooking something.

How can I make my iPod sync automatically?

When I first got my iPod I chose for it NOT to sync automatically but I should have. I have no idea how to get back to those settings but want to change it so it syncs on it's own. I've read a few topics here and noticed stuff about Summary tabs but the thing is, I have nothing like that on mine, I have no setting options whatsoever. I tried registering my iPod on here to see if that would do something but the thing is, it asked for payment details but I don't want to pay for anything. I don't use the iTunes store to download my music, I transfer it from another downloading software.
So, my question is - how do I make my iPod sync automatically and how do I find these 'settings' that everybody else appears to have?
