Ipod Technical Issues

Hi, who ever could help me it would be really good. My ipod took the whole night to sync so when it was morning I quickly grabbed it thinking that it would be done after a few hours and i guess I pulled it out while it was syncing. Now my ipod is acting VERY weird, it is locking and unlocking really rapidly, then its asking to power off. Also the ipod's buttons aren't working very well, like the lock button was the volume up button and the minimize volume was the home button, etc. Can any one ]help or tell me what to do? Thank you

So, basically I was listening to music on my iPod touch 4th gen, and I paused the music to go and get my laptop. I come back, go to unlock my iPod to continue the music and nothing works. The screen is just blank. Ive held down the lock button, held down the hold button, held both down, clicked the button, etc etc, then when I tried to plug it into my laptop, my laptop doesn't even register that it's plugged in! It's fully charged, not had any problems before, and the worst thing is I've misplaced the box so I don't know if I can send it back! HELP ME
(sorry im new to apple and the forum so I don't have a clue how to create a new topic, so Ive had to post on this one. desperately need help with this, Im only 16 and my parents will be fuming if they find out i cant find the box to send it back in!)

I'm having technical issues with Photoshop CC, it is displaying solid fill layers as transparent, even though they are showing up correctly as solid fill layers in the layers panel.

iTunes Store loads partially or returns "Error 306" or "Error 10054"
Proxies, parental control settings and software, security or filtering software, or a bad iTunes Store cache can cause this.
To address proxies, Remove Internet Options proxy settings ( http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1490 ) and connect to the Internet without a proxy.
To reset iTunes Store cache:
In iTunes, choose iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (PC).
Click the Advanced tab.
Click the "Reset cache" button.
Click OK and see if the issue is resolved.
Adjust Parental Controls in iTunes:
Open iTunes.
Access iTunes preferences:
On a Mac: From the iTunes menu, choose Preferences.
On a Windows PC: From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
Click the Parental Controls tab.
Remove restrictions on Parental Controls.

Is there an update to iOS 6? I've been having several technical issues since the upgrade. Uncontrolled zoom of the entire screen, Siri taking 25 seconds to respond and not recognizing names, locking up of the phone. All requiring a reset.

In our client enviroment is not installed even the EHP1 level for Basis or Abap and this is necessary for install the version 6.0
 
 
We read that there are many technical issues (like application of notes) installing 4.7 version on a 6.0 system due to technical things like tables structures and plattforms, that installing 6.0 version and run pre EHP4 version
 
 
Is it possible to install the 4.7 version in a 6.0 system having few technical issues after the installation?
 
 
Is it possible to install the 4.7 version in a 6.0 enviroment withou any EHP installed?

Hi Marcelo,
Your particular configuration is not supported by our product out of the box - we require a unicode system.
What you can do is try out the installation using a transport that holds our RFCs, or alternatively, use an older install such as STVN 1.1 Orgchart, which does not require Ehp 4 specific items or Nakisa's ABAP add-On.

Like many new X1 customers, you are having signal problems. What worked for the older legacy boxes doesn't always work with X1. X1 needs clean and stable signal both incoming and outgoing.
Call in to Comcast and get a service visit set up to have your signals looked at...

Temporary technical issues

This is disappointing. The app was fine and streaming happily to my Apple TV during the match build up, but about 1 minute into the game it suddenly stops, and trying to log back in to the app causes a "Cannot connect to BT Sport. Sorry we are having some temporary technical issues. Please try again later. (ID004)" error.
Same error on another apple device.
Have the servers gone down, or are too many people trying to watch?
Not a great start. I wonder if it will come back online before half-time?

Yep, after signing up last night and testing the online player successfully earlier, it comes to the game now and all I am getting is either an error message or I am just being 'logged out' and bombed back to a log in screen again!

ITunes 10.1 Upgrade on Windows 7, iPod Service issue

I am upgrading from iTunes 10.0.0.68 (64 bit version) to iTunes 10.1 (64 bit version) on my Windows 7. After some time the popup error message reads,
Service 'iPod Service' (Pod Service) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services
I aborted the installation. Roll back action took place and I am continuing with iTunes
Now when I run iTunes, the message says,
The software required for communicating with iPods and mobile phones was not installed correctly. Do you want iTunes to try to repair this for you?
I clicked on Yes. Then iTunes application opened with the message "Could not delete service" (the title of the window is 'iPod Service')
How do I fix this problem? I want to upgrade to iTunes 10.1 as I want to upgrade my iPad to iOS 4.2

Now, based on your latest response I did the right-click, install as Administrator. The result unfortunately is the same.
Okay ... let's try a modified version of the instructions from the following document. (The modification is because they aren't precisely accurate for 64-bit systems ... the program files that could potentially be left on your system by the unmodified instructions wouldn't normally be relevant to an iPod Service issue, but you're getting a relatively rare variation on iPod Service trouble. So, just in case ...)
If you get any error messages during any of the uninstalls, deletions or reinstalls, note down what they say and post back with the precise text, please.

When you get to *step 9* of the *Verify iTunes and related components are completely uninstalled* section, proceed instead with the following instructions:

Note: If you have a 64-bit version of the Windows OS, continue with step #10. Otherwise, skip to step #17.
(10) Open the Program Files (x86) folder.
(11) Right-click the iTunes folder (if it still exists), choose Delete, and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion.

(20) Right-click the QuickTime file (if it exists), choose Delete, and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. Click Continue if Windows needs confirmation or permission to continue.
(21) Right-click the QuickTimeVR file (if it exists), choose Delete, and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. Click Continue if Windows needs confirmation or permission to continue.
(22) Right-click the Recycle Bin and choose Empty Recycle Bin.
Now restart the PC and try another iTunes reinstall.

Is it possible to have a technical issue addressed...

For several years I have suffered with intermittent problems with my family's BT SMTP Mail services. Similar to another recent post, my SMTP mail is blocked on password/ID grounds even though I know the Password and ID are correct (they work on Webmail and I have made no changes to my PC, iPad or iPhone) Sometimes I can access via WiFi only, and sometimes access via 3G only - it varies, but the problem seems to be that the access is blocked because it appears to be coming from a novel route.
The support from BT is laughable - ranging from "we only support Webmail", "If Webmail works then the whole BT system is perfect so go away" to suggestions to change various port settings, none of which succeed permanently.
There is a problem with BT's SMTP service but they don't want to see it, and don't want to help. Does anyone know if it ever possible to get BT to look seriously a technical issue ?

For this problem BT in general do not give proper support.

There are several reasons why you get password rejected messages however based on the information you have supplied I have the following observations and advice.
1. The failure message incorrect in that your username and password is likely to be correct but is being rejected for another reason.
2. The most likely cause is some form of timeout.
3. Providing you have a reasonably fast connection the timeout is likely to be because your account is being accessed by two or more of your devices at the same time.
4. To stop this happening you need to do the following.
a) Do not use webmail unless you have to.
b) If you do you use webmail make sure that you sign out when finished.
c) Make sure that all your devices do not check for emails automatically but require manual intervention.
d) Use POP instead of IMAP in email clients.
e) Make sure smartphones and tablets have Email accounts Push "off "and Fetch data "manually".
5. If you have done all of the above and still get a failure then logging in and out of webmail will usually clear the problem. YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.

Is it a technical issue?

Adobe recently I wanted to download the tutorial files for aftereffect cc from (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/learn/start/aftereffects.html) but unfortunately the file which i got from the side (that have to be tutorial files) contained a movie and readme txt but not the lesson files i think there is technical issue.... what should i do to get the files....

Technical Issues Message When Trying To Submit My Podcast Feed

I have been trying to submit my podcast feed to the itunes store since monday and every time I get a message saying there is a technical issue and please try again later.
I sent an email off to apple to find out about this and options offered in the reply haven't worked either! I have had the podcast on itunes before but the site I was hosting it at back in the day (Mevio) decided to remove everything on its site, hence my original feed sat doing nothing and was then removed from the iTunes store, I have recently found a site that offered everything I was looking for (Podcasts.com) and signed up.
I posted my first show on Monday but now I have the issue of iTunes constantly telling me there is a Technical Issue and to try again later which I have repeatedly.
I even tried running my feed through feedburner and still nothing, I have changed the title of both the podcast and the show name like was suggested in the email from apple and still it wouldn't take. Its starting to get on my nerves now since I want to get my podcast back on iTunes.
Can anyone offer up any advice or suggestions on how I can sort this out!?

The feed can be successfully subscribed to manually in iTunes. There are a few minor issues with the feed which I wouldn't have expected to cause a problem, but the Store can be more touchy than the application.
You should have this as the first line in your feed:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
You have far too many words in the 'keywords' tag in your episode - the maximum is twelve.
Your 'itunes:duration' tag reads
<itunes:duration>81</itunes:duration>
which is meaningless, though the Store might read it as 81 seconds and play only that amount of your episode. It should have the duration in the format hh:mm:ss, e.g. 0:26:42
I wouldn't have expected any of these to be fatal, though you should address them. It may be that you've hit a glitch in the Store - it's been known - so when you've corrected the errors try again.

I currently use Firefox 8.0.1 and Aol mail. I have Windows XP SP3. When I try to open my email I get this message: "We encountered a technical issue. Please try again." After continually trying, after awhile it does open. I don't have this problem on IE.

You may need to clear the AOL cookies as well.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Ipod technical support phone number

i can't seem to find the 1-800 number to reach ipod technical support. can someone please tell me what it is. thanks. my question is by the way if someone could give me the number is that i cann't find the tv show episodes that i downloaded off of itunes on my ipod. they were there the other day. i had to do a restore, but now i cannot seem to find them. (desperate housewifes, and an alfred hitchcock show. can someone please give me the phone number plus also some advice to where i can find these shows on my ipod.... i purchased these shows and cannot find them on my ipod but they are on my itunes on the computer. please help. thank you.

DVR Technical Issues

I've found two technical issues with the HD-DVR.
1) If you click "INFO" while watching an On Demand selection, it will give you an info bar. Pressing info again (as you do when watching TV), will cause the DVR to Reboot and your On Demand selection will not appear in the "Recently Viewed", leaving you no choice but to re=order and fast forward to find your place.
2) If you are recording a selection and also viewing that selection on the recorder and then a second selection starts recording, the current program will skip to "live" and you will be unable to view the material you previously recorded.
On a personal note, has anyone found a less helpful technical support system than that employed by Verizon? The auto response is useless and the time required to speak to a representative is unbelievable!

This is not just a Verizon issue. All providers of the DVR and external drive combination have had to encode them to work together as a pair because of the copyright laws. Those laws were written before the evolution of cloud storage, and I suspect that the laws will be amended to allow providers to wed the equipment to a person's account rather than a piece of equipment. When I was with DISH, they had the same limitation, and you had to pay $40 for the privilege of marrying the hard drive to the DVR ( I guess that was for the marriage license). Providers will develope this capability at different paces, some quicker than others.

General technical issues re ipods

Hi, this is my first post and I'm wondering if anyone out there can help me. I'm fairly computer literate for an oldie but I get irate when computers don't do what you ask them to do. I am hoping my queries can be answered without too much trouble.
We have two teenage daughters and I bought a 3rd generation ipod for the first one last year. We only had a desk top PC then so I set up iTunes for that ipod and set it to sync manually as I found when it synced automatically it removed the stuff already on the ipod but I sorted that. We now have a laptop also and I have set up file sharing between them (I think). Our first daughter now has her own laptop but she still uses the desk top PC with the itunes on to sync new tunes to her ipod. She tried putting itunes onto her laptop but it didn't seem to work. I don't know whether that was because her ipod was already registered to one iTunes account or not. What I would like to do is get her to sync her tunes to her ipod from her laptop thus freeing up the desk top, she doesn't purchase much music just copies our CD's and that but she's got a few hyndred tracks on there. Can anyone advise me how best to do this ? Also I am planning on buying our second child her own ipod for Christmas, freeing up the desk top would allow her to sync to hers from it. I am led to believe that two ipods can use the same iTunes but can anyone explain how I would do this ? They have the same tastes in music and could easily share the same iTunes but ideally the first one would have her own Itunes on her laptop and the second her own via the desk top. I am fairly sure both ipods could be used on the desk top (although not at the same time obviously) but can anybody help me with the above. Also, would I have to save the exisiting library to say, a (rewritable) CD and load them manually onto the laptop.

if you want to transfer music from computer to computer i would suggest using a USB key... sizes range from 1GB to 16GB i think.... 4GB key runs about 12 bucks.... all you have to do it select the songs from the file (probably located in 'my music') and copy and paste to the USB key.
The you can take the key and plug it into the laptop and copy and paste it into the 'my music' folder.
as far as not being able to download and install itunes on the laptop, you may want to check that she is downloading the correct file format (PC, MAC etc).
if your 2nd daughter will be using the desktop to sync then i would leave all the music as is and she can add music as she pleases..
