Ipod to tv mirror

is there a cabel that mirrors the ipod screen to the tv

No mirroring. There are apps like Keynote, perfect Browser, Video that output via the TV out connection but they do not mirror the iPad's screen.

  • Strange marks on iPod Classic back mirror.

Well, I bought this iPod 2 months ago and since first second it always have been in a case.
The first case I had was _DLO Urban_ and the second one which I still have is _Crumpler made from leather_.
Both are original and the iPod has never been taken out without a case.
    Here is a pic:
    http://img240.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img4489on8.jpg
I tried to focus as much as possible.
The main noticeable marks are between the 80GB sign and the iPod(Apple logo) sign.
Please let me know if this is a known issue and/or there is anything I can do to fix these ugly marks.
    Thnks you very much

    UPDATE
Ok, While I was thinking this morning about this issue, I remembered that my sister ALSO has the same problem with her iPod Nano 1G. She used the have ALSO a leather case of Incase, but in her iPod it looks very bad cause she used this case for long time.
Another point is that the damaged area in my iPod (the pic that I showed here) is very couple to my Crumpler and the rest of the back mirror shouldn't touch the case, so it just makes me think that i know what the problem is.
So now I'm lost with my minds, what should I do it's new iPod and this looks abnormal for a new one.
I don't think Apple gonna help me with this issue,
I can't blame anyone, all I can say is be careful if you buy leather case.
The big question is: *Is that failure of Apple?*

  • IPod touch display mirroring

Is ity possable to mirror an iPod touch's display using airplay? HDMI? is there a way to mirrorit on the screen of a computer?

No. No iPods support mirroring the iPOd's screen.  It only works with the iPad 2 and later and iPhone 4 or later. It needs a better processor/more memory than the iPod has.

  • My ipod screen is mirrored.

i own a 4th generation ipod nano. the screen is mirrored, as in it is upside down, and backwards. i have restored it, reset it,m taken it to geek squad, just about everything else, and it still isn't fixed.

  • Apple Promotes Mirroring to Apple TV from iPod. Why?

I've seen plenty of answers to questions about how to mirror iPod content to Apple TV; the answers are it is not possible.  Apparently this is true (I have both devices and cannot mirror my iPod to my Apple TV either).
Here's the rub:  Apple promotes mirroring of iPod content to Apple TV on their Apple TV page:  http://www.apple.com/appletv/airplay/
Perhaps some Apple Corporation Guru would like to tell me how else to interpret the content of this linked page?

I read over that web page you linked us to and I don't see any reference that would lead me to believe that iPods support AirPlay Mirroring to the Apple TV. Here's the fine print of that article.
    1. AirPlay is available on all devices running iOS 4.3 or later. Some features require the latest software. Second-generation Apple TV or later required.
2.AirPlay Mirroring is available with iPad 2 or later; iPhone 4S; iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer) with Mountain Lion.
    3. Dual screen is available with iPad 2 or later and iPhone 4S.
After reading that lets break it down. Number 1 is about devices that support AirPlay, it's close but not the same as AirPlay Mirroring. Number 2 outlines what devices support AirPlay Mirroring to the Apple TV and unfortunately the iPod is not on the list. Number 3 doesn't matter to the original post so we'll skip it.
Sorry friend, I hope that helps solve the riddle.

  • HT204291 iPod Touch mirroring to Apple TV

Set up iPod Touch to mirror to Apple TV but picture quality is very poor. Do I adjust the iPod Touch or the TV or is the something else I need to do?

iPod Touch does not have mirroring abilities.  If you are referring to airplay then I would look at your network.
Check istumbler or netstumbler for interference, anti-virus, firewall. What app are you trying to stream?

  • HT1586 I have a Updated Ipod Touch i bought a year ago, so today i bought a Apple Tv. Well from what im told i should be able to quick click the home button to find the Apple TV/Mirror Imaging. Well i see the Apple TV under the Ipod selection but no mirro

I cannot figure out why i cannot Mirror image.

    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4437
IPod doesn't mirror per se like iPad, but certain apps allow it.  I use filmon for instance and the mirror icon appears when the video kicks in, but other apps such as iPlayer don't allow it.  Fustrating.
Airplay does work though from iTunes.

  • IPod touch 4 video mirroring through cable?

If I have an iPod touch 4th generation can I mirror it's display through a 30 pin to composit cable?

No iPod touch will mirror the screen with any cable. Mirroring via VGA or Digital AV (HDMI)  is for later model iPhones and iPads only.

  • IPod mirrors iTunes content, but not organisation

This is rather strange. Essentially, the issue is that my iPod does not mirror what I see on iTunes, although all the songs are there. There are two glaring issues:
1)A few albums appear in proper track order on iTunes (start to end), but come across as shuffled on the iPod. I've had to create a playlist by the sames album name to get around this. Weird that this has only happened for a few...
2)For compilations: in iTunes, all of the individual artists on compilation disks are selected to not appear - and they don't. However, this is not true on the iPod.
Has anyone ever noticed inconsistencies between iTunes and iPod (keeping in mind that all actual songs get properly transmitted)?
Plus, I just updated to version 5, and am hesitant to connect to it, considering how many folks are having issues with it...

Make sure the songs have the correct Track Number information on them in the Get Info screen. The iPod sorts by Track Number unless that info is not available, in which case it'll be alphabetical.

They have not updated the iPod software to do this sort of thing yet. Simple, really. It was a feature added to iTunes that hasn't yet made it to the iPod.

  • Can you hook up your iPod Touch 4th generation with an HDMI cable to your HDTV and play videos from your iPod to the TV?

I'm trying to find out if I can hook up my iPod touch 4th gen. iOS 5.0.1 to my HDTV with an HDMI cable and have it mirror what I do on the iPod Touch like mirroring videos for example. I need to find out and if so, how?

You can only output content to your TV if the App you are using supports the TV Out functionality. Mirroring is not supported on the iPod Touch.
If you still want to output content from your iPod to your TV, make sure you have the right cables as described here.

  • Cant connect ipod to tv

My son has a 4th gen ipod which i've connected via a 30 pin digital AV adapter and an HDMI cable. Why can't I see it on my TV? The TV will recognize my iPad 2, but not the ipod.

The 4G iPod only displays TV out for apps that support TV out. The Video app is one such app.
The iPad 2 (and later iPads) and the 5G iPod touch will mirror the devices screen for TV out.
    What app were you using?

  • Help for an idiot - ipod syncing in internet cafes

I recently had to upgrade my old ipod to an ipod touch after a few technical issues and was able to sync my music from my library on my laptop at home.
Unfortunately since then I have went travelling and am currently in New Zealand. Well, I was in an internet cafe and had just bought a few apps for the first time and on the itunes apps page under my ipod touch I pressed the sync button to sync all the apps - this had the great effect of adding in all the apps but deleting my music. Now this probably my fault somehow although I've used itunes for years and never had problems.
On the plus side I have my old ipod with me, but not my laptop so don't have my music library. Is there an easy way to transfer the files between the two ipods as I can't use my old one - it has a battery life of about 5 minutes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I can tell you the issue that happened.
What you did is you synced to a different computer, and a public one at that. As a word of caution, never make purchases or sync with a public computer. If you accidentally save your account login information, anyone who uses the computer may be able to make purchases with your account. What happened to you is your iPod content now mirrors the cafe computer, which had just those apps. This is what it does for any auto-sync, match the computer you are syncing with.
A better option for downloading content on your touch, is to simply find a wi-fi hot spot, and either access the iTunes Store or App Store from your device directly and download it directly.
As for transferring the music, there is no way to sync content between the two devices. You COULD hypothetically put your music from your iPod onto a computer, and then sync your touch back up with that, but getting your music from iPod to computer requires additional software and possibly a lot of trouble. The easiest way would be to wait until you can access your laptop and sync your touch back up with that, restoring all of your content.
To learn more about transferring content from your iPod back to computer, try a google search regarding that. I don't know much about it, maybe someone else here can help more.

  • How do I add pictures without deleting pics already on IPod?

I've been syncing pics from my computer to the IPod. However, whenever I try to add more pics, the previously downloaded pictures on my IPod are removed. How can I simply add more pictures?
    Thank you.

The ipod will simply mirror what is in the selected folder. Whatever you add/delete to/from the folder on your computer will be added/deleted to/from the ipod when you sync.
Don't think of your ipod as a disk that you store photos to, because it is not. It simply reflects the content of your computer ( for the folders you select). If you uncheck the folder it will be deleted from the ipod. If you remove a photo from the folder, it will be removed from ipod. If you add a photo to the folder, it will be added to ipod.

  • Transferring 1 photo from macbook to iPod

I am able to transfer a photo from my macBook Pro to my iPod, but if I transfer a 2nd photo, the 1st one disappears from my iPod.
    What am I doing wrong?

You need to select everything that you want to be on the iPod to sync.
Ipod will simply mirror the selected content of your computer.
Open itunes, connect ipod, select everything that you want to be on the iPod and sync.
