Ipod Touch (1g) Apps compatible with iphone 4?

From what I am reading, I think the ipod Touch apps (1g) I have on iTunes can be downloaded to my new iphone 4 since I already purchased them.  Does anyone know the details of this?  I hope I don't have to buy the apps all over again.  I have A LOT of apps.

Thanks

  • Is the iPod Touch 2nd Gen compatible with current iPhone earbuds with mic?

I have a friend that wants to talk to me on Skype with an iPod touch 2nd gen, but the earbuds don't have a microphone to talk into.
Is the iPhone earbuds with mic compatible with the Touch Gen 2? Thanks.

I found an Apple brand iPhone stereo headset (with mic) on eBay, but when I try it with my iPod Touch 2G on apps like Skype or QuickVoice, I get a message saying that there is no microphone attached. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

  • Which apps for iPod touch 4g are compatible with the Apple Digital AV Adapter?

I've got an iPod touch 4g 32 GB, iOS 5.0.1, and I want to buy an Apple Digital AV adapter, especially for my apps. But I have read that not all apps are compatible with this screen synchronisation, so I'm not sure that it is worth it.
Here are all my apps, and I'm asking you to give me feedback if they are compatible or not.
    1. Real Racing 2
    2. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit
    3. AVATAR
    4. Spore Origins
    5. Spore Creatures
    6. Angry Birds
    7. Fruit Ninja
    8. Modern Combat 3
    9. Modern Combat 2
    10. N.O.V.A. 2
    11. Dead Space
    12. BFBC2
    13. Plants vs. Zombies
    14. Brothers in Arms 2
    15. Prince of Persia: WW
    16. Infinity Blade
    17. Infinity Blade 2
    18. Gangstar: MV
    19. Galaxy on Fire 2
    20. Six-Guns
    21. Osmos
So if you really know which are compatible, I'd be grateful for a feedback.
    Thank you all!

Thank you for answering, but sadly, I wasn't able to find these informations in the app descriptions. Just Real Racing 2 and MC3 had informations about supporting TV out.
Do you know where to find them?

  • How do I find apps compatible with iphone 3G?

I would like to use an older iphone 3G as an iTouch ipod for my grandchild, now that I have a newer phone.  I can load music fine, but I'm trying to find some suitable games (11-14 years) that I can add as well.  All the apps that I've tried in the app store aren't compatible with the old phone.  There doesn't seem to be a way to search for games using the phone model or iOS as a search function.  Any help would be appreciated.

As you probably know, your iPhone 3G came out more than four years ago.  App developers have moved on beyond what can be supported by such an old phone.
I suggest you consider some new hardware.  If you don't need the telephone capability of a new iPhone, consider an iPod or iPad.

  • HT4623 is the ipod touch 4th generation compatible with ios7

My son has an iPod touch 4th gen.  and was trying to update it but it says at version 6.1.5 that it is at the latest version.  Is the 4th gen ipod touch able to update to verion 7 of ios?

    No.
As Apple said in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod.
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB

  • IPod touch no longer 'compatible' with dock

    Hi all,
I have a Kitsound Boomdock iPod dock. My 3rd generation iPod touch is apparently no longer compatible with this devices. Or no longer supports it. Sometimes it gives an error message along those lines and sometimes doesn't bother.
I know the iPod is old but it still works well and I use Spotify to listen to music via the Kitsound dock.
Why wouldn't it be working? And is there anything I can do to sort it??
    Thanks so much,
    Steven

    - Have you went to the dock manufacturer's support site?
    Sometimes this works:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod and dock for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
Did this happen after an iOS update? Sometimes an iOPS updates breaks compatibility.

  • IPod AC charger not compatible with iPhone?  Overheating!

I was charging my iPhone with an old AC adapter that uses the firewire cable from my iPod back when they shipped with them, and I don't know what was going on, but the iPhone became scorching hot to the touch. I checked the AC adapter specs, and they are definitely different than the iPhone AC adapter.
Does anyone know definitively whether or not old AC chargers are unsafe? Seems like there should be a warning or something. If this wasn't the cause of the heat, I need to figure out what else is wrong, because I can't imagine the temperature was within normal operating limits.

There isn't a version that will work with iOS previous to 5, according to this Apple article.

  • Help plz!!!! iPod touch isn't compatible with speakers!!

My new iPod touch says that it isn't compatible with my iHome. But, when I went to the Apple store, the guy told me that there was a converter I could buy that would fix this. But then I went to Best Buy, and the guy told me something completely different. So now I am confused. Is there a converter that will let me play and charge my iPod in my iHome and what is it called exactly? I want to make usre that if I buy something that I buy the right converter.

I believe the Scosche PassPORT is what you are looking for. I remember finding it a couple weeks ago as I am wanting to add iPod support to my Kenwood stereo, and Cr_ut_ch_field  said that in order to charge my 3rd Gen Touch, I'd need this.

Also look on this A_ma_z_on page. There's a couple different ones in the "Frequently Bought Together" and "What Do Customers Ultimately Buy After Viewing This Item" sections, including a cheaper one from Griffin.

  • Ipod touch downloading apps to my iphone

I bought my son his own Ipod touch. I created his own Apple id for him but when he downloads apps they show up on my iphone. I don't know if its because the icloud account on his device has my apple id? Icloud won't let me change the apple id on his ipod. I am not sure if that would fix the problem or not, but if so it won't let me on the ipod touch.

Try going to Settings>Store and turn off Automatic Downloads.
It appears that even if you created his own account he is using your account to purchase items. or that your device is signed into his account

  • IS IPOD TOUCH 2nd GENERATION COMPATIBLE WITH ICLOUD AND OS X LION?

Trying to update iPod Touch to the iCloud. Is 2nd generation compatible to update to new iTune update and iCloud?

Sorry, but it is not. It can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1.  Only 3G and 4G iPod Touches can be updated to latest iOS 5 that supports iCloud.

  • IPod Touch no longer compatible with Pioneer head unit?

Recently installed the newest iTouch software. Before the update I had no issues playing songs from my ipod through my car CD player via usb. Pioneer Premier DEH-P400UB is the model I am using.
Now that I have installed the update, when I plug the ipod in the CD player displays "NO MUSIC." The ipod reads "accessory attached," as it always has.
Anyone else have this issue with their head units? Any brand.

I am so frustrated. I have a Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD and my i-pod touch worked pretty much perfectly with it until I clicked to update the OS to 4.1. Now it is a disaster, slow screen changes, constantly cutting out music. What a joke. My stereo and i-pod are basically useless now thanks to that idiotic 4.1 "upgrade". What is Apple doing putting some buggy piece of crap update out there that basically ruins your i-pod touch? Geez.

  • 3rd party 5G iPod charger (13VDC - 620mA): compatible with iPhone?

    Hello World
When travelling, I used to charge my 5G iPod with a 3d party (Capdase) charger, designed for these devices. But when I look at my Apple iPhone charger, it says 5V - 1mA.
The question is: would the Capdase 13V charger hurt the iPhone or can it handle this voltage?

I still have some doubts because as far as I remember, the 5G iPod itself had a 5V-1A mark on its back (sold it so cannot check anymore). But then this 13V charger never fried it.
Or maybe this Capdase charger was not properly labeled?
    Odd, really odd.

  • I am new to ios development and would like to know if I have to make my app compatible with iphone 4, 4S and 5 then which ios version i should choose?

I have started ios development few weeks back but I am not sure on which version of ios I should develop my apps. People are having different iphone (3g, 4, 4s, 5) and I am not sure that all of them have upgraded themselves to latest  version of ios or not.
Would anyone please suggest here which verion of ios is more in use and if i develop my app on lower verion of ios then will that run on higher version or not?
    Thanks.

I would target the latest version.
Adoption rate of iOS updates is high.
Since you're just beginning development, trying to support older versions of iOS adds unneeded complexity to an already difficult task.
